  1. Indirectly. We requested ice, towels and robes on the app. Maybe 10 minutes later our stateroom host was knocking at the door and delivering the items. So I think you’re not exactly messaging the steward directly but they are most likely going to be the person fulfilling the request.
  2. If I see the chocolate croissants, that what I grab. They’re available at the buffet and the international cafe in the morning. They have various flavours throughout the cruise but it’s the chocolate ones I have to have. I also love the salads at lunch and dinner. You can put whatever you want and I find they have a decent selection of toppings. I also eat too many of those dinner rolls that are soft inside and crispy outside.
  3. This will be my second time on the regal princess and I’ve never seen Symphony pop up on the app. They give me Allegro or Concerto. And then I have the option to book Crown Grill or Sabatinis if I want to
  4. I’ve been on a few cruises and usually the steward is tidying up and what not and they will keep an eye out for you so they can introduce themselves. Plus the princess ships have the medallion so they can literally tell where you are. Usually if you request something on the app such as a robe or extra pillows or something it will probably be the steward who brings it to you. And they will usually be in your specific part of the ship a few times a day so it’s pretty likely you will see them as you’re coming or going and they will usually make an effort to say hi and ask you how everything is going.
  5. I wish it was a reboot instead of a dating show. They rebooted Fantasy Island and it’s good. They could have different guest stars every week. Maybe have Shonda Rhimes do it and make it all juicy and dramatic.
  6. Princess doesn’t have tiers. They just have you accumulating points based on coin-in. Then after the cruise you get offers based on your gambling. For example my husband gets offers for a free inside room. Meanwhile my brother in law gets offers for a free balcony room with a beverage package included. And I just remember him gambling more than my husband.
  7. We had a fairly large group of family all together on our last cruise. And I went on the medallion app and booked us for the same dining room at the same time every night. After a couple days they just started putting us at the same table with the same servers, all on their own without us asking. So maybe once they’re sure you’re going to show up, they just do it anyways.
  8. That Allegro. Concerto is the one that’s closer when you board. Someone can point you to it when you get on.
  9. There’s usually a MDR open. And there will be a Maître D. On the Regal Princess for example it was Concerto.
