They’re in all cabins, when they have them. They’re kind of similar to those cheap reusable grocery bags you can get in most stores. We found ours folded and clipped to a hanger under the laundry bag in our room. I ended up using it for carting beach towels and sunblock around. I didn’t mind getting sand all over it.

No, I did this and only got the 5 pictures I picked. I think 5 pictures is $99. And 10 pictures is $199. We had a big group so when I got home I went to Walmart with the usb and I printed off pictures for everyone else. I think the only way to get all the pictures is princess premier. ETA - I did get 8x10 print outs of my 5 pictures on the ship. And they put them in a nice folder so I wouldn’t wreck them.

They will absolutely help you. Also, there is a desktop version if apps and smartphones are not your thing. https://oceanready-personalinfo-ui.prod.ocean.com/

Cans are available but they cost $2.50 each. You can order from a bar or use the app to deliver them anywhere. Fountain drinks are included in princess plus and can be delivered to you anywhere too. You can also order some cans of pop for a fee before your cruise and they’ll be waiting for you in your room when you board.

crew appreciation gratuities and princess plus
Lizabu replied to trinitygirl's topic in Princess Cruises
It looks like your gratuities are not included. I booked princess plus too and this is what that screen looks like under my account: -
I just watched a video on YouTube and a member of the crew was doing a walk through and talking about how they don’t have any passengers yet but will soon. And Santa Fe still had a sign up saying it was club class dining.

Flying from Vancouver to San Juan, Puerto Rico

You can book it on the same ticket though. I’ve done it and it’s just a really long layover. Sometimes a travel agent can help you figure it out if you’re not sure. -

Even coming from Ontario we had to change planes in Miami. I think your idea of splitting up the flight and spending one night in Florida is a good idea. -
We had to use those machines but all we did was scan our passports and then let it take our photo before it printed out a receipt. It didn’t ask us if we were bringing back commercial goods or if we had visited a farm or any of that stuff because we already answered those questions on the app.

I was flying home from Las Vegas last night and I had already filled out the old arriveCAN. Then when we landed in Pearson I opened the app and it prompted me to update it. All my info must have still been saved because all it did was display a code comprised of numbers and letters. No one ever asked to see it however we breezed through customs so I suspect it helps.

From my experience we flew out of Pearson and this was when we spoke to US border security/TSA. We sailed with princess and they have an app they had us fill in. At embarkation they looked at our passport and vaccination record. Getting off the ship in Fort Lauderdale there was no customs. We just headed to this big room and collected our bags. Back at Pearson we spoke to customs and they just wanted to know if we were bringing back more than our allotment. We weren’t and we made it through pretty quickly. They decided my nephew should get a random Covid test but I understand they’re doing away with that.

The bracelet is in and out of stock on the app, so keep checking. My mom was able to order one before they disappeared again. You can pick it up at port, which is free. it has a very strong clasp and I needed help putting it on and taking it off until I learned the trick of it. I have very small wrists and found a medium was perfect. I’m not sure who a small would fit. Maybe a child or an extremely petite woman

My cruise is in January and I have already reserved. Maybe try different dates and times, in case they’re booked up. Some people were saying they had better success when they called and made their dining reservations over the phone

500ml bottles of water are included in princess plus. You can ask for water from any bar. Or order it from room service.

People are worried about mosquitoes. I literally wore shorts and flip flops and I was fine. there’s a ton of stairs to climb though, so just consider that

I booked 10 on the app and they gave me a message about how we might be at different tables l I’d just book it and sit next to the relatives you like best. It’s not like you’re going to be able to have a conversation with someone at the other end of the table anyway.

I think the person has to be able to manage a step or two. My mom uses a cane and she’s very nervous about heights and when it was her turn to step on to the tender I just made sure I had ahold of her so if she lost her balance I’d have her. The tender can Bob around on the waves and I found I had to keep her steady until I could get her the few steps over to a bench.

I get seasick on every cruise and I find that forward is the worst place to be. Mid-ship is the best place to be. I find that if I take 2 bonine every night I’m fine no matter where I am

Yes, aft by terrace pool. There are usually waiters that will bring you a coffee or cocktail too
-
If you complete all the steps on the medallion app you will get a QR code that they can scan at port. It’s is essentially a digital boarding pass

The outlets are by the desk. And I think there’s two. And the showers have a big jug of body wash and then a big jug of combination shampoo/conditioner. It smells good but I bring conditioner too because I can’t get a comb through my hair when I use just the combination stuff.
