SO many roads closed as of this evening and some communities have evacuation orders. Hoping it will abate by tomorrow.

    Me too. It is also no big deal for me to do a load of laundry myself, especially on a cruise with lots of sea days.

    Is Captain Johannes steering the Quest for this cruise? He is usually pretty honest about these things.

    If this is the case, I’m surprised we haven’t heard more complaints about this issue. Since I will be on board in February for this itinerary, I guess I should be grateful for a lower cabin class!

    This was a Rio problem, not Azamara’s fault. Although it would have gone a little smoother it all of the transfers had not arrived at once. Let us know how it goes for you. At least the terminal is air conditioned!

    It’s nice when people attach a photo to their CC handle. I had no trouble picking @Grandma Cruisingout of the crowd at the Rio terminal last March!

    I wish. We had a great time on that cruise last year, although embarkation in Rio was a bear.

    Well, I’m on that August Greenland cruise and it’s not sold out, so demand can’t be THAT high.

    Viking guarantees everyone at least one reservation to their (included) specialty restaurant and their (included) chef’s table restaurant. Then, the higher your cabin category, the more reservations you can make. All before you board. Once on the ship, you can make as many reservations as are available.

    Azamara has the best crews and captains at sea!

    I would check again right before final payment is due, usually 90-120 days before sailing.

    The great thing about having one booking number for a B2B , is that the OBC from the first cruise rolls over to the second cruise (at least that’s what AZ told my TA).

    Hmmm. What I liked about ChoiceAir was the ability to see the flights/airlines/days options myself. Maybe I’ll stick with looking at Google flights for now
