  1. My C&A lady couldn't! I never clicked on pay, just to the cart, then removed the order fortunately didn't get on my card. But I would not be a happy camper if we missed the good price. I have like 4 emails out to various corp. peeps.
  2. I tried every online procedure I knew to try to get our order for the discounted Key to no avail...even the Crown & Anchor agent couldn't pull up the right amount ($323 for 2!) 😆 And who has 2 hours to wait to talk to anybody on the cruise services line!! Yes, that's the wait time they told me! LOL So I emailed all my standard contacts. We'll see what the dope is!
  3. Better be quick about it as we had an extended time away from home post cruise and my computer for another week after disembark and when we returned home, the invitation to reply would not work. If the survey isn't taken right away, it deactivates. I tried to call about it as I promised the wait staff I would mention them by name...but this survey is outsourced and that's what happens if you hesitate. So I would urge you to complete it asap.
  4. We had the Starboard side on Allure on the deck just under deck 12- 11729 and were extremely happy with it. Felt more private than the more inside cabins and less noise, and at the time (2014) we were just outside the "secret balcony" on deck 11 which sadly was turned into cabins. And the view to the wake was of course awesome as was the "in your face" Aqua Theater performances which we saw several times: Yours will be right next to the control booth portside. And with just the sheers drawn you can't see into the cabin in daytime.
  5. I have always appreciated some things about X's menus, food quality and offerings more, but it's not worth complaining about. But wish RCCL would offer the same coffee/pastry experience as Cafe' Al Bacio! MMMMMM Highly subjective, I know!
  6. Absolutely...education is key, anyone can be uninformed or misinformed, even TAs. I am an ACD type and I need control over important situations. Can't sleep while hubs is driving, etc. But, I have no one to blame in those cases but myself. I am just more comfortable because I usually leave no stone unturned. I am extremely cautious and detail oriented. Having said that, what really matters is what was done about compensation. It pays to know the proper person to turn to. Do your homework about email addresses and telephone numbers and who's who at the corporate level. It pays to bypass the low man on the totem pole sometimes. And adopting that philosophy has had much happier outcomes in general for all our complaints. RCCL has never failed us. And I am just being truthful, not a cheering section!
  7. So you're saying that the muster drill conducted on the ship was of absolutely no help in that event aren't you? I think that was what I was alluding to. Yeah, you're absolutely right.....never mind.....
  8. Pardon me, but we DO go to the muster station, we watch the drills on our phone app, we DO know exactly where the life preservers are...and I wouldn't think of shoving another person at all much less out of the way, but hey, some people have already thought about it...right???
  9. Sounds like you just proved it was pretty Chaotic. Kudos to you who had it together, many wouldn't.
  10. They looked at the app on our phones, we didn't have our cards yet. The app shows whether you completed the safety.
  11. Which doesn't bode well for that old system! Didn't work anyway.
  12. And I did not! It felt like I would trip and fall down the stairs every time. For us oldsters, that aint easy.
  13. Which is exactly what we do now, albeit is our phone or the TV, I'd much easier pay attention alone in our room than with tons of people milling about and joking on deck. Lots of them drunker than monkeys already! At least in the terminal or doing it when you first board you are sane and able to pay attention. The last couple we've been sitting waiting in terminal, I heard every word.
  14. Gee Chief, just how perfect would ANYONE react under a real emergency? Don't think its really possible in real time...people are gonna panic it's human nature...how many drills do the crew do, it takes repetition to get it right. Remember the Concordia, that was way before the new drills and so many people were hurt and the whole thing was disaster from the standpoint of "getting the evac right".
  15. You will. On both our post Thanksgiving cruises, they started putting the deco out in the middle of them. November 24th and Nov. 15th on another We actually got to see the tree going up on one.
  16. We've done MTD on almost all of our cruises since about 2015 mostly the big ships, never had to wait longer than about 5 minutes at around 7ish. Thats around maybe 15 cruises with no waiting to speak of. What a difference to most of you. These days because of dietary needs we re reverting back to early seating though.
  17. Exceptions are made all the time...lighten up
  18. It never hurts to ask "You have not because you ask not" call and ask for the resolution desk.
  19. This happened to me yesterday and we are 30 days out on Odyssey, but it came right back in about 10 minutes.
  20. Our B2Bs on Majesty made us Diamond😥
  21. I became addicted to it on the very first cruise, I think the crystal baking sugar on top does it for me. I even ordered some of that on Amazon to use here at home. But my fave are entirely the chocolate Croissant on X cruises...o boy!
