  1. This is what we've been using for several years now: https://www.amazon.com/Highwind-Suitcases-Compatible-Celebrity-Essentials/dp/B017BVF8L6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2S87A4A5GHHXK&keywords=cruise+luggage+tags&qid=1696464936&sprefix=cruise+luggage+tags%2Caps%2C99&sr=8-5
  2. Not to be confused with "Mexican time" which is scientifically proven to vary as much as 45 minutes either way from any *stated* time...
  3. That adapter is *very* versatile! You can plug things into spots that don't look like it would accept.
  4. I take a spare *everything*! You should see my "power bag"! 😄
  5. Sorry...I should have stated that I always carry a 3 prong US adapter along with all my other "goodies". I have always been able to plug the "existing" lamp cord back into this adapter so that I retain the lamp function.
  6. I have found that the outlet behind the bed has always been a "European style" 220 volt 2 prong style (at least for the 8 or 9 ships I've been on.) Here is what I use: If you are needing to plug in 2 CPAPS, I use a "power splitter" such as this:
  7. Those who have been following closely the postings here on Cruise Critic have seen a tremendous rise in "mistakes" made by the Princess IT department. It should come as no surprise (sadly) that we take communications from Princess such as this with a HUGE grain of salt. Ronald Reagan once said..."Trust, but verify!"
  8. It sounds very much like they are trying to imitate Delta in how badly they can irritate their customer base!
  9. We just got off the CB last week. The week before we embarked I received a number of emails that said they "had to change our dining reservation due to a conflict". NOTHING changed! Same restaurant, same time, same private table status.
  10. If you're a US citizen you do not need a visa to enter the country.

  12. Well, funny you should ask. Given that I had forgotten about the SD included, I had not booked anything. When we got to our cabin there were 2 reservation cards there showing that they had automatically booked us into Sabatini's and Crown Grill! We were happy with those but had to adjust the time on one due to a conflict with an excursion. That was a bit of a surprise for me.
  13. We and our traveling friends just got off the Caribbean Princess today where we experienced Premier for the first time. We had already invested in Plus, so bumping up to Premier wasn't that bad. We especially liked the reserved theater seating, to my surprise. The ship was very full, if not actually maxed out so you can imagine the normal problems of trying to get seating together for 4. I honestly didn't think that it would have been such an influence on me...but we've had our share of walking the aisles trying to find seats that were not being "saved" for (possibly) non-existent people! That drives me nuts. It sure was nice just waltzing in at about 15 minutes before curtain and having seats waiting for us! The other nice thing was the 2 included SD dining reservations. I guess I had forgotten about that. Would we do it again? Well, we (along with the same friends) will be doing another cruise on the Sky next month...we all agreed that it was pretty nice so yes, we have upgraded *that* cruise. I'm not saying that we are now committed to going Premier from now on but we liked it enough to take another swing at it right away!
  14. I never said that I was speaking from experience...only reporting what has been previously discussed here on CC. Please don't shoot the messenger!
  15. Giving the crew *any* type of food item (wrapped or not) has been discussed here on CC a d the general consensus is that it's not a good idea...I'm quite sure (my opinion) that they would rather just have the cash.
  16. Pretty sure anything you do would just go to your on-board account.
  17. We always use the door hanger. We've had some bad experiences trying to order anything "warm" such as eggs &such...cold.
  18. I highly doubt that this would be a "corporate" decision. I would think (my opinion) that this would rest with the captain.
  19. While this is certainly possible from a *technical* standpoint, I don't think it to be very practical. All would have to stay very close to that central phone...nobody could roam around the ship at will.
  20. We are about to leave Halifax on the CB. Overcast but that's all.
  21. Yes, they definitely have a battery! On our first cruise immediately after the restart the battery in mine was already dead before I even boarded. Had to go straight to GS and get a new one.
  22. We have done most of the excursions you have listed and thoroughly enjoyed them all! Deadliest Catch tour is especially good, along with the White Pass Railroad.
  23. Same here...no clue what we're talking about. But then again, I guess if we have to ask then we're not "in that club"!
