Also...(many people don't seem to realize this), there is a button in the app (at your order status screen I believe) where it turns your whole screen yellow (?) and you can hold your phone up in the air to notify any waiter/waitress who seems like they may be looking for you. I have actually done this once when out on the pool deck with lots of people around. They zeroed right in on me while almost 50 feet away and brought my order to me.

No way to answer your question of "are all the ships full"...depends on each cruise but be assured, they are a lot more full than they have been. To answer specifically about shows...most shows are 2 per night.

On a recent Oktoberfest cruise we were not able to pre-book a particular tour. If memory serves me correctly we could not even select waitlist on the website. Once on board we went to the excursion desk and asked; they booked us right in!

We were on this cruise. We heard that it was a medical emergency but of course, they did not divulge any details. So sorry to hear of such a terrible blow like this to you, your family and loved ones. Our prayers are with you.

I'd say closer to 10 minutes...but I have not timed it!

We stayed one extra night in London after the cruise...saw "Jersey Boys" show at the Trafalgar Theater. It's pretty interesting listening to English guys doing a Jersey accent! 😄 But it was a good show.

Well, they did it on the main Princess Theater stage 3 weeks ago on the Island....I cannot comment on any differences since we've not seen it performed "in the round".

The program you want to look into is called EZ Check. I've never used it but there is another thread right now discussing it.

EZAir *typically* mandates flights no earlier than 4 hours after disembarking...even in Fort Lauderdale where the airport is about 15 minutes away! I personally would be a little nervous waiting until 9:30 to make an 11:30 flight 2 hours away. That suggests to me that the Princess shuttle will leave no later than 8:30...maybe even sooner. Just my 2 cents worth...and that *is* all it's worth! 😄

Like you said...that's a VERY Southern "thing". Easy to find here at home in the South but highly unlikely on board. Sorry!

I assume you are speaking of a Princess supplied shuttle... ? Take this with a huge grain of salt; we have never been on a cruise that ended by docking at midnight. All of our cruises have docked at either 6:00 or 7:00am with shuttles leaving anywhere from 8:00 to 9:30. YMMV!

I have to disagree as far as the Crown Grill is concerned. There really is no equivalent available in the MDR if you want a good steak.

There were none in our particular cabin on the Island 2 weeks ago...but I saw that the steward's cart had quite a few hanging on it. I imagine we could have simply asked for one...but we have more than we would ever need.

On the Island 2 weeks ago...our safe was just a bit finicky but it worked. Those pressure sensitive keypads on *all* electronic devices seem to start acting up after a fairly short time period. As someone previously said...just start playing with the keypad and see which numbers work. Then just use a code using only those numbers.
