  1. We just got our $50 OBC applied for our upcoming 1 day cruise on Ruby in May.
  2. Scott and I are shocked and deeply saddened to hear about what has happened. Our thoughts are with you during this unimaginable time of grief. We were so fortunate to share the Alaska cruise on Island Princess with you back in 2006, and although our paths have not crossed since, I've enjoyed following your numerous live from threads over the years. May those precious memories with Judy exploring the world give you some comfort in the days ahead. Kristin
  3. Nice to hear a good report on Coral. We'll be sailing on her in May.
  4. We pre-paid for the dining package "Discover Roy's Cuisine" (Sushi, Teppanyaki, Asian Fusion)—36% discount pre-cruise $65pp - if purchased onboard $90pp. Food in all three was outstanding - highly recommend this package. An absolute steal at the pre-cruise discount price.
  5. I was on an early Dec sailing. Definitely a lot of people dressed up for the White Party. Saw a few for the Gatsby Party. Didn't see anyone (other than cruise staff) for the Pirate Party - definitely not like Disney's Pirate Night.
  6. Yeah I'm glad to see that real progress does appear to be happening, but I'll stick to my prediction that it won't open until 2020.
  7. Looking forward to following along on this epic cruise - but really interested in your thoughts on Coral over the next 2 months. The last time we were on that class of ship was of course Island Princess with you guys in Alaska way back in '06! We will be sailing Coral for the first time next year in May. Kristin
  8. Spent a few hours yesterday reviewing the new Atlas (I hate the new pretentious ‘Destination Collection’ name), transferring over my notes for future cruises on the to do/wish list. I’m disappointed in the way they’ve chosen to display multi-city departure options (Scandinavia & Russia, British Isles, Hawaiian Islands), Transatlantics, and Pacific Coastal Getaways without maps and itinerary listings individually like they did in the previous Atlas edition.
  9. I've started the roll call thread for the 12/4 sailing: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2635995
  10. We're looking to book this as well. Have just enough unallocated 2019 vacation days to squeeze this in.
  11. Yes I am excited, since this ship (unlike Majestic) isn't destined to be home ported in China. I love the Royal & Regal so I'm inherently interested in Sky. While the removal of Crooner's is a head scratcher, I'll reserve judgment until I know all the details about the ship's features. I'm anxiously awaiting for the Dec 2019 schedule from FLL to be announced! Kristin
