  1. Wait until you discover there are no formal nights 🤣
  2. Both myself and @Russiamomm gave you advice on sharing tables on NCL and you have chosen to ignore it and focus on your gripe.
  3. The old fashioned table sharing on cruise lines is becoming a thing of the past, as is fixed time dining thankfully.
  4. I edited that out as your comment can be read two ways: No sharing of tables allowed or no sharing tables available and I realise now you meant the latter. If you are prepared wait the Maitre'd may well be able to find others. It is still the case NCL are not unusual to offer a table to suite your party size, this is how most restaurants operate the world over. So there is nothing for them to make clear when booking, its normal practice.
  5. If you want to dine with others, make up a group on your roll call and dine together as a large party.
  6. They just do what any restaurant does, you turn up, they ask you how many and you are taken to an appropriate sized table for your party size. Nothing to make clear, its normal practice when dining.
  7. Only two years late to the party 🤣
  8. I read it this way as well, its well thought out and will work. But I would still move the platinum's to one per cabin (on paper) to double the vouchers.
  9. Two dinners for 2 people and a bag of laundry for each person at platinum or above, you only get one laundry voucher but just write "Platinum free bag" on the second bag and it will be taken care of. If you had a second cabin and the platinum in one and sapphire in the other you would double up on the meals.
  10. That's interesting, in the UK if you try to pay with the website it will only allow full payment.
  11. You can and if you use the app you can even do it yourself, unlike the website, the app allows partial payments, just select the CN voucher as the funding method.
  12. I have never seen them call boarding by level down to bronze, its always been platinum and above in one group right after haven. Anyone below platinum gets a number based on when they checked-in. In my experience its only been haven and priority check-in that don't get a boarding number as they don't hand out boarding numbers in those lines, regular check-in everyone gets a boarding number.
  13. Yes it does as you can't use non-refundable OBC for gratuities.
  14. It should do, I used to use my shareholder OBC to pay for Cruise Next but they no longer allow non-refundable credit to pay for Cruise Next and the shareholder OBC is non refundable. So it all depends what that TA credit is, my understanding is they normally issue refundable credit, it which case, you are good to go, otherwise you will need to spend it elsewhere.
  15. Half the comments on here over complicate things more than the Cruise Next staff do 😵 At the end of the day, forget the spin, forget the OBC, forget the free money, for 2 and above certificates you are invoiced half the face value, it's that simple.
  16. Exactly that, use it of lose it, but as you just spent $2000 you already used the $1000 to pay half your bill so you can't lose it.
  17. You could never be in that situation, it can never be lost, because you just bought $2000 of cruise next, the $1000 free money can never be lost as it pays off half the $2000 you owe, it's always been the case.
  18. Just to add to this, you will find even a lot of big towns and cities in the UK will not allow Uber, Bournemouth for example do not allow Uber to operate. Even London stopped Uber from operating for a short time a few years ago. You can only travel within or to & from the licences areas (ie Southampton)
  19. That sounds terrible, what a time of it. Uber does not operate everywhere in the UK, in Southampton it does so you would be able to get taxis to and from there but not locally when on the New Forest where it is not licensed by the local authority.
  20. Another vote for the New Forest from me, visitors from cruise ships rarely see it but it's beautiful and a must see for nature.
  21. This guide is very comprehensive with your options: https://www.cruisemummy.co.uk/portsmouth-cruise-parking/
  22. I have already told you how you can use 2 cruise next vouchers, just as you were assured you could but you need to act quickly. Several people have already done just that successfully. This is a non issue as you can do what you claim you were told right now.
  23. @dawcruiser When did this happen? The current offer staring yesterday (3rd October) is double up again, plus 4 months out instead of the normal 6 months. There is no reason why you cant get the cert added now. Strictly it's for new booking but I never had a problem adding them to existing bookings, in fact, I often book with one then add a second when double-up starts. You can even do it yourself on the app, the website insists on full payment but the app allows partial payment, just make a payment of $250 and click the certificate as the funding method.
