Errrrr I dont think they are worried about what others take, more that they are worried they dont take enough. Based on the huge amounts some people seem to take.

I dont wear designer clothes, so you may be surprised to hear that I am not averse to just throwing clothes in the bin, and not bothering to take home. I took a few polo shirts, 4 of which I bought for £5 each, and wore them to death. They were not coming home with me. My case was lighter on the return trip. And little washing to do. *disclaimer *not that I do the washing anyway.

You see you make my point for me. I get no nagging, you call it prompting, because i never unpacked to start with. I am winning here.

Its easy. Plenty of room under the bed. Just pull it out, unzip, close your eyes and grab the first shirt your hand touches. re zip push back under bed, and your good to go. Live a little dangerously.

I cant believe that anyone would allow smoking indoors nowadays I am genuinely shocked. Even more shocked that people would do it anyway these days. On saying that i find it remarkable that people smoke at all.

My wedding ring fell off my finger at that ship wrecked cove in Zante, Greek Island many many years ago. Wife tried to get me to have another one but as I hate jewellery I never did. Somewhere there, there is a very expensive gold ring buried in the sand slightly under water. When I say very expensive, I am lying of course. We couldnt afford expensive back then. Probably about 50 english pounds. Which will be worth about £10 now.

Can I ask how he limited this? Are you not a free spirit?

I just dont unpack. Case goes under the bed, and I know I never have to waste the lost day or so re-packing, which is the single most depressing thing in the world. We got on the ship before our cases reached the room this time. We just went straight to the outside bar and had a nice cold beer. Didnt go to room until it was just before meal time. Quick shower, opened case, pulled out a clean shirt, case closed and under the bed, then off we go. Wasting time emptying case and hanging up clothes just seems terribly pointless, A few shirts had creases but as I didnt need to impress anyone on the ship, and I wasnt going for a job interview, i really didnt care less.

some of you must have the largest cases in the world. And some of you leave me wondering why you go on holiday at all😄 I take as little as possible and that includes clothes. I must be odd because when I am on the ship I feel like I am living the millionaire lifestyle, compared to be being at home. There are far more luxuries on board than I could ever need at home.

I brought an open mind. Worked wonders.
