  1. Try again to talk to Air Plus. What’s the acronym? HUCA (hang up & call again)? Air Plus was reported to be doing that last fall too and you just need to get a different agent.
  2. A chat agent helped me go into safari and clear the cache just for MVJ one time. Can’t remember how to do it, but it doesn’t affect other websites.
  3. So what? I don’t think @zalusky is trying to shame people as you imply. Most people who have reported they tested positive have not revealed if they have an idea of how they contracted it. Why not? It would be helpful to everyone if suspected points of exposure were identified. We’re all in this together—how do we keep each other safe?
  4. Same here when I’m in Italy or Greece, especially in a beach cafe!
  5. On Viking Sea in March I requested non-alcoholic wine one night at The Chef’s Table. They only had two options—a white and a red. The white was pretty good and paired well with the early part of the meal, but I did not care for the red. Sorry that I don’t remember the producer. I can only manage regular wine infrequently since it’s often a migraine trigger for me. I was able to have a red wine in Manfredi’s with no ill effects but it’s touch and go for me.
  6. And during Covid times, I’ve never waited to noon Pacific time. Always checked in the am—around 6:30 on a day they said they would be posted and they were available. I live in the Pacific time zone. And they usually told me they would open at 8 pm. So you just have to be diligent around the day they are supposed to post.
  7. There’s a video on this on the Viking website. It’s a qualified/certified company Viking has contracted with to perform lab analysis. I can’t remember if it’s four or eight people—but it’s not regular Viking crew.
  8. Photos from Gary’s blog on the WC showed tour of Hagia Sophia. I don’t think it was private.
  9. It’s not a problem, you don’t need to make reservations for the MDR. There have been a bazillion posts on this topic on CC since the Welcome Back cruises last summer. All posts by cruisers in real time since last summer, including our experience in March this year on a TA, have said you can be seated in the MDR whenever you want. Earlier tends to be best, sometimes a bit later you might have to wait a few minutes, but every cruise is different on when people like to eat. No worries. (The TA in March was our fifth Viking cruise, and the first since Covid.)
