This is the number I’ve called to dispute a charge on Celebrity.

You can also get these “free” Elite Plus coffees in the Oceanview Cafe (Buffet) bar. In some ships it’s named Il Bacio Secundo.

@Luckynana I was taking a bit of artistic license re wearing the boot. I did sail a B2B back in January 2020 with one. My point was just that not everyone can do stairs.
@A&L_Ont What a coincidence! We rented Speed last night! It actually was a pretty good movie!!

But if you're on 7 and want to go down 2 flights to 5, take the stairs 😉
Currently wearing a stress fracture boot. 😎-

OP, I’m sorry you are experiencing these issues. We just disembarked January 8, 2024 from cabin 1206 and had a wonderful cabin attendant. Enjoyed the cruise immensely. We are frequent Celebrity cruisers and Equinox is one of our favorites. I do think the staff are over worked.

Just you tubed Matt of RC Blog on Icon OTS. He walked through maybe less than 50% of the ship. Elevators are different than anything I have experienced. You don't press an up or down button but press a button of the floor you want to go to. It then lights up the elevator number that will take you to your "destination". When you enter the elevator you press nothing since it's already programmed to what floor you want to get to.
How does this work if two people arrive at the elevator on Deck 7 and one pushes 10 and one pushes 5? There must be a down or up button on the elevator to tell which person should get on…and then the other person trusts the elevator will come back for them?-

It is not a guarantee that your TA’s OBC is refundable. Sometimes it is, sometimes not. You will be able to see how it’s coded on the television under your account. If it is OBR it’s refundable. If it’s OBN it is not.

As post #4 said, there has always been a dispenser of hot milk by the outmeal in the mornings. That is where the soups are located at lunch and dinner.

Glad to hear it was great cruise from a trusted CC Regular. How was the food in general?
We never use the app as we heard it is not always reliable..and our devices are too old!
Well, I did notice portion size of entrees were noticeably smaller. If you’re new to X, probably not an issue. It actually wasn’t for us either…sometimes the portions used to be so large I was embarrassed to be wasting that much food. Case in point the Rigatoni Boscaiola used to be four times as much pasta. They have stopped plating mashed potatoes with an ice cream scoop…progress!! The regulars…French Onion soup, escargot, shrimp cocktail all good as always. Beef cuts have decidedly taken a step down but that appears to be the case across all cruise lines. I like fish and pasta so I’m happy.
I agree the app is extremely unreliable…but supposedly the younger generation is X’s target audience and they like their electronic devices. 😁 A funny app note…I just logged on to find the correct spelling of the rigatoni dish…and currently the dinner menus start off with the desserts…and a separate option to view Select Early or Select Late menus. As though there is a difference…or, yikes, have I just revealed a new “enhancement?”

If I remember correctly the reintroduction of the CC HH for only Elite and above is on cruises 7 nights and longer. Two evenings only.
As I stated, I just disembarked Equinox’s five night sailing yesterday. And there were two CC HH events in the Sky Lounge. So it must vary ship to ship or at the discretion of the CC host.-

We just disembarked yesterday from a five night cruise on the Equinox. Listed on the sheet of Captains Club events was two nights “Captains Club Lounge” held 5-7 in the Sky Lounge. Only in the cordoned off right side of the Lounge…no way to cordon off the front so I don’t know how they kept track of who was a Captains Club member and who was not. Same usual drink list although there was only one waiter I saw so everyone was going to the bar. There was absolutely no hors d’oeuvres of any kind.

Had a great five night cruise. Long time Celebrity cruiser. Of note, in the MDR was told the filet from the Children's menu is NOT available . Also noted that when I checked the app on our one Evening Chic night it showed the lobster menu. I was certain that was incorrect…and I was right. The menu presented in the MDR that night was a completely different one. No problem for us but I’m sure others might have been upset. Poor waiters having to explain no lobster. The app may have corrected itself later that afternoon but that’s still unprofessional.

Currently on Equinox and Martha the Marvelous is looking after the cats. Now my only fear is I’ll come home to find Martha has absconded with Diana!

@bobmacliberty I misspoke when I said we wouldn’t be going to Shrimp Fest…I meant the NYE shrimp drop that you posted the video from. I’m crowd averse…

There definitely are shaded areas around the perimeter of the pool deck.

Think of the reports you see of people shop lifting huge roasts and sides of ham…

I don't like Celebrity Jeopardy either.
Yes, generally most of the “celebrities” think it’s a standup comedy show…. But some are amazing and extremely smart…but few and far between…-
