  3. Sure and perhaps Japan's population of COVID would have been much different as well. Such a typical American response! For the record, I am an American.
  4. Good on you if you are OK with someone standing you up more than once. It is not a matter of the $$$, oh and yes for the record I do like $$$ and it is a high priority. I'm just not a chump though.

  6. Agree, they take up more room than just regular old fashioned normal packing does.
  7. People wearing masks regularly are still reporting having contracted COVID, total false sense of security, but you do you and what makes you feel best/safest.
  8. At 63 yo and having 3 children and being one of five brothers, I’ve seen quite a bit thank you. Like my mother that raised us I did likewise with my own children, always erred on the side of caution regarding health concerns. YM obviously is different.
  9. Prior to now, like late last year/early this year, having called Celebrity several times my wait time was 18 minutes, the longest time I waited. I have a B2B booked with them for Dec this year, which after I made the reservation I transferred to a TA. Glad I did so for these two cruises as I am canceling both and he can do the waiting on hold. Right now I am only planning land trips and this is my plan for the foreseeable future. BTW I am not canceling due to COVID fears, I am canceling due to the way Celebrity is handling the on-board "experience" right now, which from what I read here is a mess, a total hit or miss, who the hell knows what they are doing and the apparently and can change cruise to cruise. Not paying good hard earned $$$ for a nice suite and not knowing if I have to be moved from that if I tested positive or was a close contact.
  10. From what I’ve seen on other lines threads wait times are a serious issue, which is somewhat understandable, that said celebrity seems by far, to be the WORST! Last week I called Oceania to cancel and request refund for an October cruise, total time from start to finish was 15 minutes.
  11. Just like in Feb/March 2020, the cruise lines are continuing to prove that they have no idea how to handle challenging situations. Glad I’ve canceled my two 2022 cruises. Hope you stay safe and your on-board experience improves!

  17. I feel bad for the kid that was injured, but the parent mucked this all up, to get on the ship IMO, perhaps thinking it wasn't serious, but...
  18. NCL had zero to do with injury, it happened even before the cruise began. My sense is with the long line, the OP did not want to miss the cruise so hurried back to be sure they did not. Lesson learned, one would hope. NCL owes nothing here and did nothing here.
