  1. Problems with booking internet at discounted pre cruise pricing I am trying to purchase wifi package. Sometimes I get a 10% offer, sometimes 15% and sometimes 20%. When I get 20% sometimes by the time I get to the page to put in my cc info it jumps back to 10% or 15%. Today I got all the way through at 20% 2 devices 7 nights and it was showing $286.93. I clicked purchase and the next page showed I paid $321 for the package with a 10% discount. So I cancelled. Does anyone know what is going on with this?
  2. The fact that they say you have to wait for approval and aren't specific about what is needed for that approval makes me think. that saying you want to sightsee will be a no go but you have an emergency and need to get home, etc might be approved. The training might specifically tell them that they can't provide reasons that may be disapproved and reason that might be approved. There are circumstances that can be approved for this and there are ones that probably won't be approved.
  3. But they still sell bottled water, at least they were on the menu at the coffee place, just told that the have it all only covered the canned water.
  4. Yes. If you are buying it now you are paying for it now. If you want to wait and buy when onboard then buy it then.
  5. The lido deck has pitchers of cold water available whenever they are open.
  6. Thanks, I think I was mixing HA for my cruise later this month with Celebrity later this year. This is my first and likely my only HA cruise. Just another thing that bugs me about them.
  7. Do they not still waive the fee if you have the beverage package?
  8. They do sell aqua class cabins without the tips, drink, and internet included so if you want those features you need to make sure you book a fare that does include them.
  9. I find it very annoying that they put non alcoholic drinks like waters and smoothies that are less than $10 on the premium package only. Their canned water tasted awful. I also find it annoying that they can't stock a better selection of beer that is $10 or under.
  10. Ask at the different bars and try them at the ones that do. On Silhouette, I don't remember if it was the passport bar or the world class bar but whichever, their ones were much better than the ones on the pool levels.
  11. All included only includes the gratuities for things included in the fare. Pretty much any service or food or beverage item that you purchase on top of the items included on the fare will have an automatic 18% gratuity added. This includes any purchases or reservations in specialty restaurants. Any time you go over the max allowance on your beverage package drink or beverages not included in your package, etc.
  12. If you aren't getting wifi and don't drink alcohol or for whatever reason booked the rate without the all included, you could be looking at 11-15 soda or juices a day.
  13. Booking on the first day of the cruise they threw in a bottle of wine, nothing special but we took it and gave it to my husband's family that picked us up after the cruise.
  14. I think this is because they are still in their covid error change policy. I expect them to revert back to their $100-$150 penalty sometime in the next year.
  15. We sailed last month. I remember reading pre cruise that the tall bottles weren't included but we were on the Silhouette and they only had the tall bottles and they were included. Looking at the current wording it says premium bottled water so I would thing that means that it is included.
  16. I doubt you will have a choice. I think for a 7 night cruise they look at how many have signed up by embarkation day and then only have 1 or 2 per cruise and they tell you when. It the day doesn't work for you, you can cancel up to 24 hrs without a fee or with a fee within 24 hours. I sailed on one that was scheduled on a day that ended up being very rough and about a 1/4 cancelled because of sea sickness and they didn't charge for that. I almost cancelled but was glad I did not.
  17. I think the days of not getting insurance and getting future credits are coming to a close.
  18. Typically if you book pre cruise it is usually a 7-10% discount that is considered a promotional price. If you wait and book it on the ship it is slightly higher but then the 15% discount would apply. I believe the regular Eden rate is $65.
  19. How was it? Also how is the wine pairing handled if you you have the classic beverage package? How much is the pairing if you don't have a beverage package?
  20. Mara, we drove to the port on our last cruise so we were in no hurry. They do want to get you off because depending on when the next one leaves, they could be letting the next cruise on as early as 11:30 am. I think you have to be in to breakfast no later than 9am including the buffets and completely out of your cabin by 10am. You might be able to sit around and get a cup of coffee and do some last minute shopping on board by they want you in a line to get off by 10:30.
  21. I recently booked a fare not eligible for the have it all package. Sailing in 11 months. I did see the question about discounts on shore excursions and saw that sometimes they offer 10% discounts. Should I be checking once or twice a week or just on holiday weeks? Also do they ever offer discounts on internet, specialty dining and/or drinks packages or should I just expect to pay the full listed prices?
