  1. Was on Apex in March and the burgers at Mast Grill looked large, what shocked me is they didn't have a chicken option. Just seems strange that a cruise line with a little more focus on health only serves burgers, fries and hot dogs by the pool.
  2. I did this on my March 2022 Apex cruise, not sure if I ever got the extra points (would have been 3 and I have done a lot power up point activity) My stateroom attendant had no clue what I was talking about and honestly I didn't any difference in service, was great as usual.
  3. I'm looking at a solo IV on Apex for April 2023 and the solo says $11,000+ when I click on it says an error has occurred, no internet connection. Then it takes me back to "Select your room category" now with 2 passengers. Must be some issue with solo travel pricing for the last 4-5 days.
  4. NCL on the two cruises I was on before Covid.
  5. Correct on the drinks, one alcohol drink per sea pass. My one pet peeve about Celebrity.
  6. If you buy a specialty dinning "package" (3 nights, 4 nights....) you have to wait until you are on board to make your reservations. For my January 2023 cruise Eden is sold out every night already... If you do not purchase the "package" you should be purchase a reservation to a specialty restaurant when you book the cruise (I can for my March 2024 cruise already..) Not sure how it works for suite folks, maybe they set aside reservations for suite folks, not sure. If your not in a suite I do not recommend buying the specialty dinning pkg...
  7. From what I read, there were "people" feeding the marine life in the area to attract them for good snorkeling and created a feeding frenzy for the bull shark and the woman got caught up in it... I'll be there in January and will not be snorkeling.
  8. Definitely Eden, If you haven't done so already, book it now. It will be sold out by the time your on the ship.

  11. They actually called the front desk to asked to be moved to a different cabin because of a chair. Amazing.
  12. I learned a long time ago, mostly from roommates, that some folks are door slammers, that is just how they close doors, and there are a lot.

  14. I was on Apex deck 11 in a SV and I really liked it. Never been on deck 7.. My concern about deck 7 is your directly above Eden and may get noise from there…

  18. No, nor did I take one. I'm learning some valuable lessons here. Had an easy, no issues, last time I used best price guarantee, guess I took it for granted.
  19. The only "proof" I have is the hand written best price guarantee form I emailed in. So it really isn't "proof" as someone could write anything they wanted on it....

  21. Booked a cruise in March 2022... The price for the same everything dropped $450 a few weeks later. I filled out the best price guarantee form and emailed it in, I did forget to put my email on the form, so never received any email nor did I receive a new invoice with the new price reflected. In my cruise planner however the new price and new amount due was reflected... About a month later it went back to the original price and suddenly my name was on as both passengers, I called X to explain the situation and after a nice conversation with Mark, was told NO I have the best price for that promotion at that time. I have zero proof of the price change other than the form I emailed X in April. Mark claimed he could do a "simulated" price from back in April and again I was told I had the best price... Not sure what or if there is anything I can do? The first invoice I ever received was from Mark a few days ago, this whole situation seems very strange to me, I never receiving and invoice until a couple days ago, myself being added as both guests at some point... I did a refundable deposit, but there is no proof I can see of that (did not talk to Mark about that) Any ideas on how to possibly correct this or am I stuck with the original price? Thanks for any and all help.
  22. If the slides cost money to go down, they are never going to be removed. More will be added, if anything.
  23. I attempted to get a bucket of beers from the poolside bar on Apex in March, to take back to the room. I was basically told I am dumb to pay for the bucket of beers when I have the premium drink pkg. I then told him it was to take back to the cabin so I could enjoy a few on my balcony... He understood my idea, but again basically told how stupid it was for me to pay, I told him I don't care, I ended up not getting the bucket after not wanting to get berated any more... I spent the whole cruise like a little chipmunk trying to stash a beer here and a beer there to finally have a few in the mini fridge.
