  1. The E-class ships do not have a basketball court, they do have ping pong tables. If he likes the pool the E-class ships have a large pool, it may be the largest at sea?? There are typically "sport type" things done on the pool deck each day (pool volleyball, football toss, golf chipping, bags, ect...)
  2. My sister had 7 points, but never sailed X and she was a “preview”
  3. Ate at Rooftop on Beyond in January on a western Caribbean cruise, we were given blankets because it was a bit windy and chilly. They attempted to enclose/shelter Rooftop more on Beyond than it is on Apex. The food and service was very good.
  4. Only ate once in a MDR on Beyond in January, service was not good, only red meat option was a sirloin, it was okay, we didn't stick around for the desert. After an hour and half we were ready to leave.
  5. I do not recall were I saw it, I also thought Captain Kate mentioned she knows the name of the 5th ship, but obviously was not telling...
  6. Celebrity has already ordered a 5th E-class ship. Delivery in Q4 2024
  7. Ask the lady who came on here unintentionally bragging about wondering around the ship with Covid and bitching about how unsanitary the OVC was.
  8. Was in aft cabin 9329 and there was zero ‘banging” Never heard a single complaint from anyone I spoke to.
  9. I've been on Apex, Beyond and NCL Encore, however not in the suites. Doubt I'll sail NCL ever again.
  10. If you drink I would recommend the package, on my January Beyond cruise, the drinks were very very inconsistent all over the ship, the magic carpet's "signature" drink I had three times and all three were completely different in color and taste. I do my best not to waste, but several times I just couldn't stomach the drink. About the only bar that could mix the same drink night after night was the Martini bar, Eden bar was just as bad as the rest of the ship.
  11. I was on Beyond 1/15-1/22 and would have a similar review about the dinning, especially Ocean View for dinner, it was awful. Le Voyage was wonderful, as it should be for $90pp, Eden was good for us as well. The pool deck on sea days was like a funeral, boring, no band, no DJ, still don't know who are cruise director was... I have a 10 day March 2024 Ultimate S. Caribbean booked...seriously considering cancelling, not sure I could have been on the last cruise 3 more days (first time I've ever felt this way) I am pretty easy to please, and hate coming on here seeing negativity....but I just want to inform those who have not sailed in 1.5years or so, IT IS DIFFERENT.
  12. Just ask when you arrive, the staff will point you in the correct direction. It was towards the left on my sailing.
  13. I have to agree on the drinks, I was on Beyond 1/15-1/22 Other than the martini bar and the "signature" drink at Sunset bar (because their "signature" drink was pre-made and poured from a plastic pourer) all the other drinks were never the same. Many were a complete different color. Saw two gentleman at the magic carpet bar with the "signature" drink, ordered it and again it was a completely different drink. Not that big of a deal for me, but if I didn't have the drink package I would have been very upset on some of the garbage they were serving.
  14. Everything I have my eye on is either more or the same, mostly E-Class Caribbean...
  15. We walked to Junkanno beach and it took about 20 minutes. We parked on the beach right next to Margaritaville and paid $10 for one lounger. We were able to walk to the bar in Margaritaville and get drinks there, but did not really walk around the grounds, we also got drinks from a few of the vendors on the beach, played a little beach volleyball, all excellent. Junkanoo beach is pretty big, so there were plenty of different locations to park for the day and get food and drinks from many different vendors. I would definitely do it again. A day pass for Margaritaville is $100pp You have access to their water park, loungers, towel and that is it, unless you have children to use the water park I cannot see the value.
  16. That's the reason I will continue with it.
  17. The airport was very busy and chaotic. The TSA line wrapped outside and people did not know what the line was for. I am pre-check and my sister is not...she started in line outside and the pre-check line was wrapped around inside the airport. I overheard two TSA agents that seem shocked all the passengers were from cruises... I got through security and 7 minutes later my sister got through. I will continue to pay for pre-check, but in my experience over the last four years the "quickness" going through is almost a non factor, no shoe and belt removal and saving a few minutes is the only benefit in my travels...
  18. The Classic in stateroom bar set-up just went up from $100 to $150 The Premium is now $230 I don't recall what it was before today... I was considering the classic, but there wasn't much of a pre-cruise discount, so I decided to what until I'm on board to see if i should spend the money. I will not be now.
  19. On 1/16 I'll be in Nassau, was considering Margaritaville, but I did not see the value and preference is a beach....the plan for us is to go to Junkanoo beach and walk over to Margaritaville to check it out and grab a few drinks. I'll try to follow up after my cruise.
  20. Happened on Beyond's last transit through the area. I think they are looking for them as they transit through the area. I was on Apex in March, while doing the behind the scenes tour, in the bridge they keeping an eye on a small boat in our path, someone asked what happens if they don't move and was told the bigger ship has the right of way. Don't think there was any way we were stopping.
