  1. The current upgrade wine options on Pursuit now. I think they are all good and especially like the William Hill sauv blanc. The Piper-Heidsieck is also very drinkable😊
  2. The 7 day forecast on the Port website states both Onward and Pursuit docked at WTC. I will check once we arrive in Barcelona.
  3. You should be docked at the WTC, so nice and close to the City Centre. We will be joining Pursuit on Tuesday.
  4. I am on a cruise mid November. I got the offer and took it for the Ultimate Drinks package. It will be our second Azamara cruise, so 20% is better than 5% from our Adventurer status. I will use OBC to pay for it. Horses for courses as we say in the United Kingdom!
  5. Yes we did. It will be nice to meet up again. Looking forward to seeing some new places in Spain.
  6. beatnix, Is Moll Adossant Terminal C confirmed for Pursuit on 14 November? We are on that cruise too.
  7. Thanks for the information. I am disappointed with the Beaujolais and the Wolf Blass as they are £5-£7 wines and not really worthy of being called "Ultimate". The Greg Norman Shiraz and the Castiglioni Chianti are much better wines £14-£16. I am on Pursuit in November and wonder what they will have on offer? I will leave upgrading until I am on board to make an "informed" decision.
  8. I checked my account today and my Azamara Circle level has now been corrected and my points are correct. I checked my correspondence with Azamara, it has taken 2 1/2 months from initial complaint. This will give other customers who are concerned an idea of timescale. We sail in mid November and it was always stated that accounts would be rectified in sailing date order. Looking forward to a relaxed cruise.

    OBC Issues

I just checked my account on Seaware. OBC vouchers now have values assigned to them. Progress at last. We cruise in Nov 23.
  10. I asked our cabin assistant for a larger robe. One was supplied, but it wasn't Azamara branded.
  11. Great review. We are on our 2nd Azamara cruise in November, so the experience is catching!
  12. I am trying to ascertain if the wine package offered is good value? Does anyone have any wine lists with prices that are currently available to purchase? The packages are roughly $33 dollars per bottle. I do like a nice wine with dinner, better than the Comp wines on offer. The alternative would be to buy off ship and pay the $10 corkage. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    New website.

I have just received e-mail confirmation of my OBC for my cruise in November. It was showing as $0 on my booking. Regarding loyalty level and points, the e-mail stated it is being done on a sail date basis. I guess I will have to wait in line to get that resloved.

    New website.

A quote from Azamara Customer Support UK "We are aware that our guest's loyalty information is not correct. This will be rectified soon with our new Loyalty System which will be available shortly." No idea how long "shortly" is, but it appears they are aware of the problem and have plans to rectify it.

    New website.

Azamara excursions are currently converted at a rate of $ 1.20 per GBPound. The commercial rate is today approx $1.27. Pays your money, takes your choice.
  16. In Amsterdam you could try these: >Chabrol Wines, Haarlemmerstraat 7, 1013 EH Amsterdam (http://www.chabrolwines.com/) >Cave Rokin, Rokin 60, 1012 KV Amsterdam (http://www.caverokin.com/) >Troppo Wine Store, Binnen Dommersstraat 22-24, 1013 HL Amsterdam (https://www.troppogiovane.nl/) All are fairly close to the Cruise Terminal. Enjoy.
  17. Moet was available on Onward last year. Each ship seems to have a different champagne on the Ultimate Package. I wait with interest to see what is available on Pursuit in November?
  18. Meet and Greet on Onward today at 1730 was a bit of a “damp squib”. We were allocated the port side if the living room. But that was occupied by other guests partaking of the tapas! If Azamara want to be associated with these type of events, they need to make a bit more effort. If they don’t, then say so. I did, however, meet some very nice fellow Cruise Critic members. I do not know what the answer is to this conundrum, maybe others have ideas.
  19. These are the current offerings on Onward. The best of the included whites. Just had a glass of the Bayten South African SB, chalk and cheese!! Much better. More reports to follow.
  20. Just after some clarification. Has anyone any recent knowledge of what sockets are now in the cabins? I have read that there are USB sockets below the bedside reading lamps, but have the US and EU sockets been replaced/updated? If so, what with? Just need to know what adapters to bring. I am travelling from the UK, TIA.
  21. The Cattier champagne is nice. Better than Montradount and NF. I agree with the ? on Wolf Blass. Having done a little research on the others, my thoughts: Bayten Constantia. 4.0/5. Very drinkable Danzante Pinot Grigio 3.6/5 OK Jean-Luc Colombo Viognier 3.7/5 V good Tommasi Poggio Cab Sauv 3.8/5 V good Callia Alta Malbec 3.4/5 OK Matua Pinot Noir 3.5/5 V good Castiglioni Chianti 3.6/5 Very drinkable The list will probably have changed by the time we board Onward on the 29th October!
  22. Am I correct to assume that all complimentary wines are served by the glass? Has anyone managed to get the waiters to leave a bottle on the table at Dinner? Does anyone know the current Red & White offerings on Onward at the moment?
