  1. But it sounds like OP used a travel agent that is charging some type of fee for making changes.
  2. There is plenty to do on Royal after 9. Heck, even on Holland and Celebrity I found things to do until 11. Try Oasis class on Royal. There’s a ton of high quality entertainment late at night.
  3. Yes. They are very accommodating.
  4. I would suggest you do nothing. If he is a no show, everything but his cruise fare should be refunded.
  5. OP, truly sorry this happened. I am with you and would want my money back.
  6. Sorry to hear it wasn’t up to par. We like Royal and did the Brilliance in January for a four night cruise. The main dining room sucked but other than that, we enjoyed it. I would not choose BOTS for a weekend long cruise. Really enjoyed the casino and the live music, but for us, just too small for a longer cruise.
  7. Not an answer to your question, but I have been able to add a person and keep my perks. Just had to pay the fee for the third person. You can call the main number or your PVP, if you have one, and they can do all of this.
  8. We have seen it rain briefly in Nassau then clear into a beautiful day. We almost skipped our Atlantis excursion once because it was raining. By the time we got to the water park, it was sunny and clear. So unless it is storming, with thunder and lightning, I would stick with my plans and see what happens. In the event of a true storm projected to last all day, I would stay on the ship or go to Atlantis for lunch and gaming.
  9. There are five us, and our game plan is to take the tram to Resort World and grab a taxi to Radio Beach. Taxi is $5 pp each way, so a total of $50, plus $10 total tips. Once there, we will rent a couple of chairs and swim. There appear to be small bars and restaurants there, so we will buy some drinks and use their facilities, and buy lunch as well. I am looking forward to conch fritters and conch salad. The prices are much more reasonable than RW and we will be helping out the locals. I plan to do a short review after visit next Sunday.
  10. I don’t recall any lockers. We rented two chairs and an hour each on paddle boards. Booked online before the cruise. It was a good deal and a great time. We felt safe, and asked the attendants to watch our stuff when we were on the paddle boards. No issues.
  11. I would recommend you do it independently. Otherwise too much time wasted waiting on everybody, then they want to give you a tour, etc., then same for coming back. I would taxi there and back. You could check out getting a room at Comfort Suites, which has access to all of Atlantis and may be cheaper than buying wristbands directly from Atlantis. I think five to six hours is plenty for the water park and aquarium, but with a five hour tour from Carnival, you could easily waste an hour or more with coordinating the tour participants.
