  1. If you want to see underwater wildlife I would recommend taking the Goff's Caye Tour. Water crystal clear and ocean full of everything. Keep walking out on the flats the further you go it's hard telling what you'll see out there. Water is really never any more than 7 ft. most is 3-5 feet deep, water is glass nothing but life and calm. Lots of wildlife. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘Œ
  2. GREAT IDEA!! Learn something new every day!! I will absolutely remember that next time, tickets in advance BOTH WAYS. I'm still learning. Thanks for your patience. ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค›
  3. Good grief it's not like that. The beaches I go to I know ahead of time whether or not they're inundated with Sargassum and whether or not I can enjoy myself on that beach or not. I've been dealing with that crap for a long time. Sargassum and the Caribbean it comes with the territory you learn how to work around it in some capacity. Cozumel has been getting alot of it, I never saw that yes it's been several years since I was in Cozumel but all that Sargassum never saw any of that. St. Kitts yep, but not so bad I couldn't enjoy the beach. Or it was an issue that kept me from having a great day on that beach. Or I would go to another beach or do a pool on a day pass. St. Maarten Orient Beach I heard the Sargassum was dreadful over there, I never saw anything beach is awesome, water absolutely full of life of every kind. No seaweed. Orient Beach on the Frenchie๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜side is some of the nicest water in the Eastern Caribbean come to think of it. Seaweed or no Seaweed it would never keep me out of the water at Orient.
  4. Yes a few minutes after the hour not 5 minutes though. Trust me on that.๐Ÿซค
  5. Btw Thanks PORT ROYAL for the link to the bus schedules. Those are great thank you. See I could trust that.
  6. YES!! The BUS. I checked that last time on the island. I don't trust anything else but the Bus. That's why I didn't go, because a taxi up and back for a solo was I think $120+tip. Lunch drinks another $100. It's a $250 day easily by the time you get back to the ship. Unless I'm buying treats for family members I try and keep my daily island budget to $200. The bus it seems is the only way reliablely and financially to get to and from Bathsheba and back. Bathsheba is too far from the port not to have a set time and set ride. I would love to get back to Bathsheba it's absolutely worth the ride up there, but you gotta have everything in order before you commit to that. I couldn't find anyone else on our roll call who wanted to go I wasn't going to go by myself.
  7. Yes a taxi is the only way to go, but it costs an arm and a leg to get there and back. I would love and have tried to go back to Bathsheba but for a solo cruiser it's almost impossible.
  8. Ms411 you do much fishing? Not necessarily deep sea fishing but surf fishing or dropping a line out in a bay fishing? My buddy for almost 9 years ran the campground at Water Island that's all he did was fish, he's a pro. It's what I do on my spare time. He caught fish all the time and they cooked them up at the Bolongo Bay resort. His pictures the fish looked yummy. My sister just brought back some white sea bass from the Bahamas, fresh caught fresh frozen. Looking forward to trying some this weekend. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ
  9. The rum distillery with lunch at Marigot with beach time?? That sounds wonderful. Sounds like a blast too!! Nice!!
  10. Hey Thanks!! Those are some great recommendations the Lucian Food Tour sounds AWESOME. So does Ti Kaye and Calabash Cove, thank you very much reedprincess appreciate the great info. I love the food on St. Lucia by the way Herod Stanislaus his mom and dad can COOK authentic Lucian YUMMY food. I had lunch at his house about 12 year's ago it was a TREAT!! So yummy, plus sitting out on Herods front porch having lunch looking at The Pitons doesn't hurt a thing either. Love the food specifically on St. Lucia so YUMMY. Thanks again.
  11. I would love to do an 80's cruise. I'm still stuck in 1980 and proud of it. Every time I found a themed cruise like that it wasn't a very long cruise just several days and I'm not sure I would have an interest in that type of sailing.
  12. Yes it has nothing to do with not meeting people or not having dinner with other folks it's about having my own space in my own cabin for the time that I'm in there. I love meeting people love having dinner with them, y'all ain't staying with me in my cabin.๐Ÿ˜‰ If I ever took the old lady on another cruise she gets her own(inside) cabin at the front of the ship๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ and I get the Lido Deck Mini Suite. Yep inside front of the ship, I get the Lido Deck Mini Suite, RIGHT!!!
  13. Cap Maison 5-star that place is AWESOME. Do I even want to know what a day pass runs at that palace. Jeezus I would definitely do that if they'll let me in๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜‚. That'll work.
  14. I'm just checking on you. Please keep reading this forum. If you continue to scroll back, read the entries the members have made including MINE it's all here for you to make your decision. Your good. With that being said forget The Park Hyatt. Read the #4 entry in this thread and don't read anything else unless I wrote it๐Ÿ˜in reference to this particular island. Don't think, you don't have to do that we already did all the thinking for you. READ. Your good dawg. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘
  15. And I'm not going to Vigie and spend my day on this awesome island with a bunch of S.H.T.. I'll email Spencer first and do his beach break it's always a winner and reliable fun, or Baptiste at Cosols but no S.H.T. Thank you ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค›
  16. Ok for those of us who's visited the island many times have done Cosols tour a couple of times. Spencer's Beach Break a couple of times Herods land and sea tour(best tour on the island) and the ships tour a couple of times. What would you recommend someone like myself do next time I'm on the island? Pigeon Island I was in St. Lucia with friends a long time ago they went to Pigeon Island they didn't seem very upidy on it. They didn't say much so I never went there because I was having so much fun between the Pitons. PORT ROYAL,That Cap Maison Naked Fisherman sounds right up my alley. Is it worth the drive there and back? All inclusive option day pass? reedprincess said it can be a 40-45 minute drive each way and YES for some odd reason being too many ships with too many people, traffic in downtown Castries is murder until you get out of town. I'm looking at a sailing St. Lucia is on the itinerary but if I go back I want to do something completely different, if that makes any sense. I wouldn't mind at all going back to The Pitons but if there was something else to see or do I would be very receptive to going back to the island. Thanks Todd
  17. What?? "Hung Paradise" best one ever!!! Sounds like an old porn flick from the 1980's!! Best name EVER!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  18. Btw do I even want to know what's in a painkiller??๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I drink Skyfall Martinis on the ship, Stella's on the islands. Im old at this point in my life when it comes to alcohol and everything else for that matter I Try and keep it simple. I try anyway although I'm very open minded when it comes to drinking on my vacation. ๐Ÿ˜
  19. I've heard of a painkiller but I'm not sure I've ever drank one. In a can? Sounds kinda scary. I keep it simple James Bond Belvedere Skyfall Martinis or Stella's. Painkillers I can't do those anymore!! ๐Ÿ˜ Thanks!!
  20. Gotcha!! I've never been over to the BVI's. Heard nothing but good things about them. One of my attorneys๐Ÿคฎshe and her husband have a place down there. I think that's why I've never been over there come to think of it. Pictures are great. Thank you.
  21. Keep reading this board. I got you. I gotcha cuz!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
  22. Oh God your killing us. Look at that water!!! So beautiful. Thanks for the photos. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ
  23. It looked like it would be lively at night. I couldn't pass that place up, I think about it all the time. I'll be back there. Great little vibe great atmosphere too, I thought so anyway. I went back and ordered something to drink had a few minutes left and ordered some Spinach Artichoke dip that was scrumptious. I hated leaving that place I told you getting back on the ship at Havensight never did much for me. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Think I was kidding?๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ
  24. Sounds terrible. C'mon bob get with it and figure it out.
