That's the longest mile you'll ever walk in your life. Between the heat the cars and every other kind of traffic. I can't do it I catch a taxi. It's a good idea and that's about it. I've tried walking from Havensight to downtown I make it out to the main road the gate, I just kinda scratch my head look around, scratch my head a couple more times look around some more, and then hop in a taxi. It doesn't look it but it's a longer walk than one might think, especially on vacation.

It's not that far apart it's just the beach is very long and wide there's plenty of room for both of you to have your own space at the same time you're at the same resort. It's a really nice setup. Plus it's only about 8 minutes from the ship. Great pool nice menu great food if you get hungry. Staff is awesome and always there to help. Once you step out of the elevator and see the property you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. I really enjoy the pool and I tend to lay out at the pool at the same time time the beach is really nice and the water is wonderful. You can't lose either way you go. I understand the day pass fee has gone up to about $50 a day. That's very reasonable to have access and free reign around the resort for the day. One of the best all around vibes in the Eastern Caribbean, consistently. Go and enjoy your day your in for a very pleasant surprise. I've taken a couple of dozen or so cruisers from our CC groups over the last 15 years and we just loved the place and really enjoyed ourselves. Have a great time on your vacation.

Absolutely GREAT POOL and GREAT BEACH. Both are beside one another the beach is huge you can go wherever you want DH can stay up by the pool running up your bar tab. Lots of room vast property, you two will never see each other😁. Great pool bar. You will have a great time. As nice as the pool area is the beach is wonderful. You'll go back. You can go to Passions anyway you want. I'm not sure what the taxi fare is because I always take the bus for $2 each way. Passions Beach Bar is my favorite on Aruba. Best grilled chicken panini sandwich on the island. Excellent vibe nice people. GREAT beach.

Your going to be on the bus for about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic by the time you get to Turners. Turners and Darkwood are on the same bay but it's much to far to walk. Darkwood is the first beach Turners is the last beach. Been to both personally I like Turners, new bar clean restrooms, less traffic and it's down at the end it's nice and quiet down there.

Yes absolutely normal been cruising solo since 2000 I always pay double occupancy. Want a good cabin with a balcony or not for that matter your paying double.

I'll tell you what KILLED me last vacation $5.50 a pop Stella's. It was like that from Ft. Lauderdale all the way down $5.50 a pop. I find it very difficult to sit on and not drink a cold brewski lots of them on the beach anywhere. In my case a six-pack just piss me off. A six-pack doesn't even clean the cob-webs out from the night before. The bar tabs down there pretty much on any island can just hammer your credit card. I know it's my vacation and I've allotted money for it but still when I get home and my credit card balance is out in LA LA land that's when reality sinks in.🙁 That sucks.

No one has answered your question because when were at Magens Bay you can't get anybody to wait on you. Much less rent you an umbrella and chairs. Keep your fingers crossed Magens Bay Concessions gets terminated thrown out and is replaced by an real food and beverage provider. With that being said it couldn't be too much to rent what you are referring to.

I know exactly when it is, I've cruised the Emerald Princess on 5 separate occasions the weekend of Thanksgiving. I've watched the crew decorate the atrium several times. The weekend after Thanksgiving, when I get off the ship around the 10th of December the ship is fully decorated. The Emerald Princess the atrium during the holidays is extraordinary. The champagne waterfall on formal night with all the Christmas decorations is something very very special. I hope you get to experience that, there's nothing like it.

I love Frugal McDougal's off the Carowinds exit in SC, I used to stop by there all the time on the way to Myrtle Beach!! It's right off the exit. That weedie derived beer sounds yummy and right up my alley. It's becoming very popular. Weed infused anything is becoming increasingly popular. It's not just me dang it. Mutiny Vodka I won't miss out on that next time. The cruise lines have been a bit sticky about how much liquor you can bring back on the ship personally. I only take a bottle back it's never been problem getting 1 maybe 2 bottles of whatever back to my cabin. Thanks

I looked at a gold bracelet at Cardow in '96, next thing I know it's on my wrist and it's not coming off until I pay for it, she wouldn't take it off🫤. I felt so bad for this sales lady I went ahead and bought it because I knew she wasn't going to let me leave the store without it. I didn't need another gold bracelet.😳 Love Riise though. It's my favorite liquor store. I used to buy bottles of Moet White Star there back in the day, for $29(US), best deal ever.

I almost forgot it's legal on the top deck of the ferry over and back from St. John. It's also legal downtown on Main Street too. 😂😂😂😂 Don't act like that's not funny. It's funny because it's true. When I get back on the ship it's not legal anymore on St. Thomas but it's legal on the ship!!! OMG!!! SO funny. I'm sorry I'm my own biggest fan. It's legal in my home right now, couldn't tell it could ya.😵‍💫😵‍💫😂😂😂😂
