From what I can tell the high rise buildings are all along the strip, and the rest of the town is lower buildings. The Bellagio is 36 stories and the ones around it seem comparable in height. Old Vegas, Fremont Street area, the buildings are not as high. If I had to guess Vegas grew out VS up because they just took up more of the dessert. Itโs not prime farm land or real estate. Fremont St in the distance, where the taller buildings are. Most of the community buildings outside of that area are lower in height. Closer to Old Vegas. The Fremont Experience is the long, low silver coloured arched building in the center/top of the photo. The view of newer Vegas. Many of the buildings are higher/comparable. Side note around the gravel lot in the bottom of this photo is where Pawn Stars, Counts Customs, Ricks Restorations and Vegas Rat Rods are located. All within a couple miles of another.

Royal acknowledges too hard mattresses?

For once itโs not @Biker19 brining up the old threads from the past. The search function does work for those that might wonder. -
If you have time to spare here is the video of our trip to the Grand Canyon. I cut a lot out and it is still just under 15 minutes. You can see how low Lake Mead is even though it has gone up a bit, Hover Dam, The GC Skywalk, and a return flight over the strip. The one thing I found amazing is how green and lush even the dessert was after their rains so far this year. You especially see it in along the riverโs edge. If you have any question I might be able to answer them. I also added some music so please turn up your volume. A direct link if it doesnโt want to play. https://youtu.be/Bt6CJHZ8B1o

It was incredibly green for the dessert. The heat is coming next week and our pilot said things will dry up quick. That said, you can see the green in the video later to come along the rivers edge. A Joshua Tree. We stopped on the journey and landed along the canyons edge for 30 minutes to take it in. Love this shot.

It was spectacular. It is unfortunate their situation wasnโt the same. We had winds no stronger than 9mph and temps in the mid 60s. There was very little wind buffering along the way too. Sounds crazy to say it, but it was one of the best chopper rides so far. We have been blessed to be able to say that.

Here is a bit of video from last nightโs game. One of the best spots is seeing when the Knights had a goal announced and the arena goes wild and I turn and show the faces of 4 LA Kings fans. Thatโs at about the 2:20 mark into the video. They were so sassy in the beginning. We have never been to a hockey game with so much enthusiasm and excitement. Vegas definitely knows how to host a game, on top of playing it.
