I like that boardwalk feels more open and you can see out the aft, but noisy. Like central park for a quiet place but no ocean view. I've done both pros and cons. Boardwalk further to walk back. Its behind the aft elevators.

It's a beautiful beach imo. Have a fish taco at the taco place in cocoa beach. Walk out on the cocoa beach pier. Buy a tee shirt at Ron Jon's.

Most of the 1A have a sofa bed. It's the sofa and they remove the back pillows and that's the sofa bed. It's too hard for me. It doesnt pull out as something. Just the back rest pillows are removed to sleep.

For those who might want to come down a night earlier, 10 rooms added to the hotel block a night earlier. Bella 2.0 "FYI, I just had 10 rooms added for the night of the 31st if anyone was coming down 2 days early."

Men now show up in whatever they want. I've seen a man at my table show up to dress up night in nice shorts. No bathing suits allowed. Or see thru.

Had to reread this but I'm not that far different. Voyager Balcony pool deck, im psyched. $103 per day. Solo, I'd have to look $100? Obc, plus $100 for rcl shares. May 2025. Dp340 or wouldnt be that irresistible. You have more obc is the only difference. I also booked the 10 day after, not such a good deal. Good ports. But I'm right there with you in price. Not enough obc to even cover my tips.

I was reading about brillance out of Australia I think, supposed to leave tomorrow but leaving sunday to one kinda cold port. Lots of nice fcc but what made me laugh is to thank people the bar is 50% off. I bet sea dog and a few would still go. Sea dog and friends could try all the top shelf drinks at half off.

I would say even that can be loosey goosey as when I was on conquest and a hurricane wiped out Galveston they delivered us back to new orleans and made everyone get off the ship. They did say you could then reboard and 3 or 4 days later sailed to the proposed houston port which later tried but never worked .. houston port is not Galveston. I wrote and they said close enough, they owed me no compensation. I swore I'd never do carnival again. We were allowed 1 phone call I used to rent a car from new orleans. I've read posters claiming we got bused back, not true. I was on the ship, we got nothing. Also missed 2 of 3 ports during hurricane season. Ports arent guaranteed .. but if the poster wants to write, go ahead. Btw we knew hurricane Ike was coming but it wasnt forecast for Galveston so when we left on sunday we werent allowed to cancel for a refund or plenty would have. It made a dog leg 6 days later on friday right to Galveston. I would have no showed had I known it would hit Galveston. I lost my car that was only 6 months old and everything in it. Missing a port is nothing. How about losing a new car and getting vastly depreciated value. New Saturn I was so proud of. Brand new off the showroom floor.

Yes obc is returned immediately if the price goes down. I do it all the time. Lol. Probably too often. I buy stuff when it's on sale to give myself time to decide. I cant predict wifi prices up and down. Depends on demand on your ship.

I did the 10 day radiance to Panama and other ports and we had 10 different menus. American night they offered a hamburger which is what I ordered. They do have 10 different menus, I'm sure as I experienced it just different ports. We also had UK night. Mushy peas and such. Nothing to write home about. But they have enough menus for each night even without lobster night. I cant name all 10 menus ... but they do have 10 menus.

I'm booked on a 10 day cruise that has a couple of stops in greece. I've never heard of a special menu other than the usual for different ports. I'll follow along but im expecting same old menus.

The $100 pp change option is only available before final payment. I personally have written to the above email and always gotten a fairly fast reply. It might not be what you want to hear but they will reply. If you booked thru a TA he might br able to escalate it. Mbayley@rccl.com

The hotel block I think says $10.80 pp for shuttle. Idk if there will be any events there. Yes I'm sure there are more details I didnt post. I cut it off. So shuttle arranged too. My condo I'd guess is 4 miles away, 5 max. Hopefully I'll be moved. I'll need a hotel for bella 3.0 though. This one will be from my new home port. Fingers crossed. You can throw a rock and hit my condo maybe.

Have you booked a hotel yet. "Someone" has a block of rooms, refundable rates, a mariott hotel. For the night before bella 2.0 and 2.5. Includes breakfast, meeting event space, free cruise parking. Cut off his name but prices are $269 and $249 for the 2 nights before. Idk how to post a link without someones name appearing. Just saying that apparently 50 rooms are available for our group. Name cut off intentional. Not trying to offend just dont want to be accused of something.

A gty is for any inside cabin. Probably bottom deck. They dont have specific 4j gty. I got one by accident and hated it. Was a hc cabin and beds were end to end not together, half the cabin was the roll in bathroom. Had to close the black out curtains at night. I like to wake up and see the weather outside. I booked a port hole. They upgraded me without telling me. I didnt book this awful cabin. I wanted my bigger port hole I actually booked. My pvp said they have the right to change your cabin without notice.

I would keep checking. For instance for wonder feb 2025 some purchased 3 night pkg but I dont see the 3 night pkg at all. Maybe check both the app and the online site. The what are you doing thread is currently discussing this. ... just because it's not there right now doesnt mean it wouldnt be there next week. I personally am waiting for lunches which are about half the price but also not showing for me to purchase for feb 2025. Just as a for instance I got lunches at Giovanni for 14.99 and 12.99 plus 18% for this oct and dec. .. under $20 pp.

I'd be interested. This last release royal has NO Bermuda listings. I hope carnival will add some. Must be another cost cutting measure by royal. It's the one port I missed so far I planned to book.

I assume Johnathan isnt a child. I did see a banner that said children free sale for the discounted beach club. Seems to me they are really pushing it. ... idk if any have kids and its probably kids under 12.. not sure what age free kids beach club price.

Yes continental is still free to order to your cabin. Coffee makers are in JS and above. The cafe opens 6:30 last time I cruised for free and pay coffee. In the promenade.

Isnt that odd. I just checked again and can only see unlimited, not the 3 day for sale. I checked again just now. I didnt check yesterday. Just today. Still not there for me in my planner. ..and unlimited higher than what you paid yesterday. I'll buy some dining just not every day.

No if you book a dining pkg you still have to book the times and dates after you board ... though rcl says working on it.. no date when it will be available. In fact all I see is unlimited dining for sale. Price already jumped. It was 20% off, now 15% so some must have booked for it to go up. No individual or 3 day dining availble yet to purchase. Beach club $153. Thrill waterpark $75 in my planner. I do think I I'm seeing better today. I dont have to strain and concentrate so much to see the words. Better. I guess I'm also getting used to it but also he said takes up to 48 hours for the dilation to go away, today. That's a relief. I'm just glad the words quit swimming around. Was giving me a headache trying to read posts.

Priceline will bundle hotel and one way flight. Offering $300 to $400 off, though they say up to $600 off. I see some decent deals. When I read the rome section on cc they all say only book a hotel directly in rome. Have any of you actually had trouble with you rome hotels? I'm looking in the vicinity of the spanish steps first, and as a second choice near the coleseum both of which i want to see. Seems like those close hotels to the Spanish steps there are a lot of walkable food places, though the rooms I'm considering are smaller. But more convenient. Other concerns maybe someone here has experience with. Even hotels that say they have AC dont have it in may, they said by law it cant be turned on until June 1st. Someone else said 200 satalittle tv channels ... all in italian. I have not learned to stream. It seems I need to learn if I want to see any tv in English. I'm looking for inexpensive but clean and of course safe with a good bed. The beds on royal are at about my limit for hardness. I like soft pillow top mattresses. Yes I know picky but my back wouldnt take a hard mattress. I'm pricing out hotel plus flight for 4 or 6 nights. I'm a little worried I'll be hot, the mosquitoes will be horrible (I'm ultra sensitive to bug bites). My first TA so dont beat me up, just looking for information. I'm booked. Of course I could just fly straight home but would like to see stuff but not be miserable. Oh I also dont eat pasta. I'd have to be starving. When royal does italian night i pretty much eat bread and whatever to get thru that meal. So i am concerned. Yes I'm bringing bug spray. One thing I find missing is pre covid during high hurricane season you could grab a cruise for $100 a day. And January was next being less expensive. I dont see these lower hurricane season deals, maybe newbies booking dont realize how disruptive to ports a hurricane cane be. Or how cold it can be leaving texas in the dead of winter. I just dont see the same off season rates. Maybe I'm looking from the wrong ports and other ports have them idk. I'm preparing to hear complaints from newbies when their cruise is interrupted and no compensation.
