I'm booked on a 10 day cruise that has a couple of stops in greece. I've never heard of a special menu other than the usual for different ports. I'll follow along but im expecting same old menus.

The $100 pp change option is only available before final payment. I personally have written to the above email and always gotten a fairly fast reply. It might not be what you want to hear but they will reply. If you booked thru a TA he might br able to escalate it. Mbayley@rccl.com

The hotel block I think says $10.80 pp for shuttle. Idk if there will be any events there. Yes I'm sure there are more details I didnt post. I cut it off. So shuttle arranged too. My condo I'd guess is 4 miles away, 5 max. Hopefully I'll be moved. I'll need a hotel for bella 3.0 though. This one will be from my new home port. Fingers crossed. You can throw a rock and hit my condo maybe.

Have you booked a hotel yet. "Someone" has a block of rooms, refundable rates, a mariott hotel. For the night before bella 2.0 and 2.5. Includes breakfast, meeting event space, free cruise parking. Cut off his name but prices are $269 and $249 for the 2 nights before. Idk how to post a link without someones name appearing. Just saying that apparently 50 rooms are available for our group. Name cut off intentional. Not trying to offend just dont want to be accused of something.

A gty is for any inside cabin. Probably bottom deck. They dont have specific 4j gty. I got one by accident and hated it. Was a hc cabin and beds were end to end not together, half the cabin was the roll in bathroom. Had to close the black out curtains at night. I like to wake up and see the weather outside. I booked a port hole. They upgraded me without telling me. I didnt book this awful cabin. I wanted my bigger port hole I actually booked. My pvp said they have the right to change your cabin without notice.

I would keep checking. For instance for wonder feb 2025 some purchased 3 night pkg but I dont see the 3 night pkg at all. Maybe check both the app and the online site. The what are you doing thread is currently discussing this. ... just because it's not there right now doesnt mean it wouldnt be there next week. I personally am waiting for lunches which are about half the price but also not showing for me to purchase for feb 2025. I'd be interested. This last release royal has NO Bermuda listings. I hope carnival will add some. Must be another cost cutting measure by royal. It's the one port I missed so far I planned to book.

I assume Johnathan isnt a child. I did see a banner that said children free sale for the discounted beach club. Seems to me they are really pushing it. ... idk if any have kids and its probably kids under 12.. not sure what age free kids beach club price.

Yes continental is still free to order to your cabin. Coffee makers are in JS and above. The cafe opens 6:30 last time I cruised for free and pay coffee. In the promenade.

Isnt that odd. I just checked again and can only see unlimited, not the 3 day for sale. I checked again just now. I didnt check yesterday. Just today. Still not there for me in my planner. ..and unlimited higher than what you paid yesterday. I'll buy some dining just not every day.

No if you book a dining pkg you still have to book the times and dates after you board ... though rcl says working on it.. no date when it will be available. In fact all I see is unlimited dining for sale. Price already jumped. It was 20% off, now 15% so some must have booked for it to go up. No individual or 3 day dining availble yet to purchase. Beach club $153. Thrill waterpark $75 in my planner. I do think I I'm seeing better today. I dont have to strain and concentrate so much to see the words. Better. I guess I'm also getting used to it but also he said takes up to 48 hours for the dilation to go away, today. That's a relief. I'm just glad the words quit swimming around. Priceline will bundle hotel and one way flight. Offering $300 to $400 off, though they say up to $600 off. I see some decent deals. When I read the rome section on cc they all say only book a hotel directly in rome. Have any of you actually had trouble with you rome hotels? I'm looking in the vicinity of the spanish steps first, and as a second choice near the coleseum both of which i want to see. Seems like those close hotels to the Spanish steps there are a lot of walkable food places, though the rooms I'm considering are smaller. But more convenient. Other concerns maybe someone here has experience with. Even hotels that say they have AC dont have it in may, they said by law it cant be turned on until June 1st. Someone else said 200 satalittle tv channels ... all in italian. I have not learned to stream. It seems I need to learn if I want to see any tv in English. I'm looking for inexpensive but clean and of course safe with a good bed. The beds on royal are at about my limit for hardness. I like soft pillow top mattresses. Yes I know picky but my back wouldnt take a hard mattress. I'm pricing out hotel plus flight for 4 or 6 nights. I'm a little worried I'll be hot, the mosquitoes will be horrible (I'm ultra sensitive to bug bites). My first TA so dont beat me up, just looking for information. I'm booked. Of course I could just fly straight home but would like to see stuff but not be miserable. Oh I also dont eat pasta. I'd have to be starving. When royal does italian night i pretty much eat bread and whatever to get thru that meal. So i am concerned. Yes I'm bringing bug spray. I'd stay longer if i knew what to expect and think I'll like it. I read so many negative things.

One thing I find missing is pre covid during high hurricane season you could grab a cruise for $100 a day. And January was next being less expensive. I dont see these lower hurricane season deals, maybe newbies booking dont realize how disruptive to ports a hurricane cane be. Or how cold it can be leaving texas in the dead of winter. I just dont see the same off season rates. Maybe I'm looking from the wrong ports and other ports have them idk. I'm preparing to hear complaints from newbies when their cruise is interrupted and no compensation.

I just was hearing a earthquake hit Taiwan and a tsunami warning went out to japan and the Philippines. I'm hoping it doesnt affect from sea to shining sea travels in japan. Check some other cruise sites. I can think of one I use where I can see all from a certain port, and just check royal and just get a list of royal by date. It's against cc rules to name sites that sell cruises, so I cant name any.

Well it was a bit of a zoo. My bil was my ride. Last friday a 18 wheeler rear ended them and smashed the back of their car. He said he was stopped, maybe at a light, not oving so the trucks fault. I think police called and truck driver either accidentally or on purpose gave fake insurance for the truck. So he was calling to get a rental car, which was to be delivered to their house at 3 pm, my surgery at 2 pm. So he calls me at 11:30 saying I could just drop him off at the rental car place. What about my car, how do I get it home? Hmmm. I'm also supposed to check in at 12:30. So he says ok just come get him and he will figure out the rental car. We didnt get a block from their house my sister is calling him, "I'm hungry". Miss spoiled. He told her she would have to wait until he got back and take her to eat in my car. Yikes. This is his 3rd accident in a short while. Hes not a good driver though this wasnt his fault. I didnt see a choice. I cant see a uber driver signing for my release. So anyway he lined up their neighbor to drive me home but I said I can drive fine, I just needed someone to sign for my release. I talked to the doctor this morning. I said I dont understand their policy that they wouldnt answer any questions until I have someone with me. I'd asked for instance when I can remove the eye patch. They said cant answer until your ride is here. He said he does very mild sedation. Other surgeons put patients to sleep and heavier sedation than he does so the policy is for all. Seems a bit dumb to me they refuse to answer questions, my bil with a terrible memory has to be present. I said I'm also concerned I can barely read stuff now. What I type here is blurry. He said be patient, the eyes need to work together. I could see close in just fine but not distances. Now I see distances, but close up like this is blurry and a bit double. He assures me I am seeing at least 20 20, maybe 20 25. Doesnt seem like it to me. I go back next Wednesday for a check up. He says great results ... wish I could see close up like before .. I do hope it's coming. I could do wifi better before the surgery. I havent tried to read a book. Surgery done and I made it hime ... amid some confusion. We dont yet know if my bil car is totalled, it's pretty new so maybe not.

Yes 2 devices at the same time. It cou its devices, it doesnt know who is using them with your sign in. If you signed in a 3rd device, it knocks one device off line.

Clearly you dont know the law. Carnival chooses not to pay the taxes and do it. They used to. I have done carnival in the olden days before they changed their mind. Carnival chooses, not a law. There arent laws saying carnival cannot but royal can. No such law. Carnival is just being cheap and chooses not to pay the taxes involved so waits. Laws dont pick and choose between cruiselines.

I go out of Galveston random old enough to remember when cheers started day 1. I assume you arent. Then because so many waited for day 2 to start cheers, they just started all day 2. Royal also goes out of Galveston and their drink package starts asap when you board before you tell me carnival has to do this. If royal can so can carniva., they choose not to..

The reason is NOT because of the tradegy. It's because some ports carnival chooses not to pay the local taxes, like ny and Galveston. .. so they start cheers day 2. As noted above this has already been posted so isnt new news just you worried later people might get angry. Galveston we do this every cruise. It's not like it doesnt happen in other ports. Its carnivals choice to postpone. Why blame the bridge. It's the port change. Norfolk taxes.

Idk what to say. I live in texas and it's been all over the news. Of course I follow stocks and news a lot but cant imagine not having heard about the bridge collapse. I bet cruises from Baltimore are cheap right now because of the uncertainty. .. maybe consider Galveston. Royal moved to norfolk too btw, dont book them either from Baltimore in the next month or so.

I also had this issue with wonderland. I said if it's not excluded how can you say it's not included. I've just gotten tired of the hassle, not worth it for me.

Ok I'm sure I've had more than 6 central park balconys and I do sit out if the sun is hitting the balconies on the opposite side. I've had deck 10 and 12 for sure. My biggest complaint was I was below the round pool on harmony deck 12 and the kids screeching all day long got on my nerves a bit. I would try next time not to be below kids pools. They screech all day, cant swim without screeching. That was on harmony. Oasis kids yelling at the pools also got annoying. I would choose a lower deck if open. That deck 12 double wide was all that was left b2b last time if I wanted the double long balcony. I also was next to the extra small inside next door last time. I've also been next to the stewards cabin and preferred that lower deck. Nothing huge but be aware the kids are swimming right above you. I've done that cabin more than once on 3 oasis class ships. Look at the deck plans and you will see which side of the ship that round wave pool is.

How is a ocean view going to be cooler? I have sailed in both and admit I dont sit out when the balcony is in the sun, no matter if its ocean view or central park. I've had a skin cancer issue so i cant sit in the sun. If the sun is shinijg and your balcony is where the sun hits, it's going to be hot..I dont understand how one will be hotter than the other if the sun is shining on it. I did a ov facing balcony on oasis and never used it during the day. Too hot all week. Why spend extra if you want to avoid a hot balcony?
