In order to collect from insurance the person I believe has to cancel which triggers a refare for the other pax. I dont believe they can collect if they just dont show up, but I could be wrong.

Have you tried to erase your number and type it back in. There was a known glitch where points stopped showing. Worked for me.

I had a lazy steward last time on harmony. She never learned anyones names, called every pax, "sunshine". If you wanted something go with a crisp bill in hand. I asked if I could set out on my balcony while she cleaned, she said no, so I left, she never cleaned my cabin, several days. I'm solo and not messy, wasnt a big deal but she made it clear she was after tips. Starting with the new mardi gras carnival has also removed self serve laundry. So last 3 carnival ships also no laundry. A good portion of us on carnival like on royal have free laundry as a perk. They have it but not free except as a perk, same as royal.

There is a free trolley at coco cay. I saw you took chill island instead of south beach because of distance. Next time I'm taking the trolley and not walking. Agree south beach a long walk in the heat.

For instance harmony has grease as its broadway show. In addition it has columbus the musical. It's a musical show but not a broadway show. In addition there may be a headliner show with a singer or a group. Not a musical but a singing group no acting.

I'm going may 2025 and staying over in rome. Im hearing mixed things like even if the hotel says it has ac it doesnt in may. By law the hotel cant turn on ac until june. 23 days plus 4 or 6 days in rome. Idk. I am worried about pick pockets and hearing stories. I dont speak other languages. Bus system. I've never been let alone by myself. I know I can get a hotel close to most things but I'm still worried my first time. Reading just worries me more. The reason for 4 or 6 days is from what I see flights cost more on friday, 4 days. I can stay 6 days and fly home on a sunday about the same price. Liar. Calling moving company to see if I can push it back a week. Waiting for call back. Ready for this to be over. She is from Vietnam and she and her co signer both dont seem to understand dates matter. Hes trying to BS me about how it's not unusual a few days late or a automatic extension 30 days. I agree that the price seems a bit overvalued vs what it used to sell for. More shares, so earnings diluted and no dividend and more debt .. and selling as high as pre covid seems a bit much to me too. I dont see prices continuing up as before either. So next years comps wouldnt be as good as now when prices are compared to covid pricing a year ago. A year ago there were still a lot of left over really low prices which are gone now so year over year looks terrific but many many companies are saying price increases are running into resistance. Stagnation is being mentioned. Right now looks terrific, a year from now doesnt look so good.

The IPO is pricing tonight. Usually prices below what they expect opening trades to be. The lower amount is for people who are buying the IPO before it opens publically. Not what it will actually open at trading tomorrow. Should be above the IPO price. Typically. For instance at etrade I can buy some IPOs not all. Not every brokerage handles all IPOs. It will be interesting to see where trading actually opens. They are saying viking collects money 2 years in advance vs industry average of 6 months though they dont typically sail at full capacity. Pros and cons. 7k vs ncl 3k average etc. Watched on CNBC so I didnt get it all. Odd they would use ncl to compare to. IPOs seem to open around noon or 1 pm my time to watch tomorrow.

Today from what I heard virgin has a IPO, expected in the $42 range. Newly come public. I was laying in bed at the time I heard it was coming today so not sure I got the initial pricing correct, but interesting.

Hi I'm doing voyager to barcelona may 2025. Interesting that it's in the 60s. I've done oasis 3 times so not so interested in the ship as the weather and all that kind of stuff. My first TA. I'm also doing a 2nd leg to rome next may. I don't own many cold weather clothes, so I'll have tee shirts too but can bring a warm hoodie. Sounds like its needed. How cold does it get at night? My TA moved me back from the very front of the ship as he says can be very windy. I have a balcony on the pool deck. Is it windy on the pool deck? How was the azores. I think I'm stopping there too. Any other ports?

Carnival has 2 pay pizza they added to their pizza menu and not even a whimper. Royal acted like the roof fell in. Still the same free choices. Just 2 additional not free.

So in your opinion if someone doesnt like one thing, the food they are wrong to cruise again with royal. I'm not a big fan and been doing more pay restaurants to get around this. Im a very picky eater. I disagree that if someone dosnt think royal has great food they need to stop cruising royal. There are other considerations. .. like no other line gives solos a discount imo. Food isnt the only consideration. No one line is perfect in all aspects. Just my opinion,,there are other things than food to consider before someone says if you arent a fan then you should never cruise royal again. ..again that's why I do more and more pay options. I'm not a fan. And I dont do italian on any line. Ugggh. I dont eat pasta or red sauce. So to you that means quit cruising instead of getting around it.

I think once you get new lens for your eyes they are considered permanent. Ocean boy would know more than me but they couldnt replace my dads later when better lens came out. Finally back on wifi. Been down since middle of the night. Must have been a really bad storm. Street signs and trees on the ground, but without seeing tv I have no idea what went thru. Finally back up. Missed my wifi and tv. Watching the news and seeing houses flooded. I wasnt even aware a big storm coming thru. Finally ... I hate having no tv and white noise.

That's my thinking on cataract surgery. There are constant upgrades to the lens they insert. We did my dads and later the new lens were so much better later on than he got. My surgeon said last 10 to 15 years great advances.

I agree it's too expensive, but my one thing I love. I hate being cut off hence why I often pay for a extra day plus my free 2 days. Decided to make a run for pinnacle becsuse I want free wifi. I know the cruises cost another 20k I'm guessing I've booked but I'll be there maybe end of next year if they don't change the loyalty program. I have 18 booked from 3 to 13 days to get there. They say it's not worth chasing pts .. but here I'm doing it again. I chased pts to hit 340,for solo discount too.

Well its apples to oranges tbh Carnival I've read each cruise is separate points. On royal its cumulative for 1 year, april to April. So if I sail 6 times on royal all my casino pts are added together for the year until I qualify for offers. I've read on carnival they count pts each cruise separate. .. though I admit I'm not a gambler. Completely different programs. I cruise for bottom line price. Since carnival gives me no discounts, usually as a solo royal wins, but I'm open carnival... hit me up. On carnival I love the free fast food. I'm a junk food person. Royal wins for free wifi and free 5 drinks a day and discounts prior to boarding on excursions. Excursions I book much cheaper on royal. All this year 30% off which puts the same exact excursions cheaper on royal. Last year j booked all at 35% off, but this last year only 30% but 40% already cheaper priced lunches. Pre boarding sales better on royal. It really depends on what you spend on. There is a awesome 2 week journey cruise I'd like but a inside is $3500. I can do a balcony on 2 weeks on a almost brand new ship for less on royal ..but i do love their journey cruises. Watching hoping for a sale lol.

Just a FYI, it's only the newer ships, oasis and forget the other class name that have the 11 to 11 soda and water etc in the suite lounge. I'll be on maringer who does not have this. Just be aware this isnt all classes of ships. Royal is odd in that different classes of suites on different sships have different perks. Personally I'm pushing for pinnacle for the free wifi all cruise. I now get 5 drinks and 2 days of wifi. I never finish all my 5 drinks. I tried cheers twice on carnival and was a waste for me. I guess my drinking days are behind me. My big perk on royal I dont get elsewhere is the 25% off as a solo. Carnival used to give 1As with less supplement but long since quit. That's all the perks I care about .. money off cruisefare I'd ordinarily spend. I spend on meals, excursions and wifi. Dont care about the other perks. I dont cruise to do laundry. What is the bottom line price is all I care about. Otherwise I dont care which line I cruise on. I even liked ncl and celebrity.

Dynamic pricing. Our port was cancelled and royal rewarded us with no redund of port fees and upped the daily price to 32.99 a day, seemed everyone wanted online that day. I've seen times when my discount for d+ -was less than the daily cost, so I wait and next day dropped to 27.99. Least I've seen tbh. I bought a extra day for 19.99 after discount for d+ subtracted, so had a extra about $6 toward a 3rd day.

This has not been implemented. Still have to book onboard.. though my TA said on anthem I think he was able to book in the port before he boarded. .. but generally its book asap when you board. No new news.
