  1. Self-serve milk (either cartons or dispensers) will be available in the Windjammer. In the main dining room, you'll have to ask for it. If you ask for it on the first night it will most like be brought without asking every night thereafter.
  2. Wow! I had no idea. I don't use suntan lotion and I don't go in the hot tubs. I go in the pools all the time and I swim/snorkel/SCUBA dive in the ocean/sea with my card in my pocket and I've never had an issue.
  3. The card is plastic, just like a credit card. There is no reason it can't get wet.
  4. You won't be able to cancel all three right away and collect on the trip insurance. One of the original names must stay on the reservation to change the other two. Your mom can then be a no-show at the pier and your in-laws will be fine. I'm not sure how your insurance policy works but you may be able to get your mother's fare back after she no-shows.
  5. If you have already paid for your husband and son, you will be able to use your and their free days. As D+, all 3 of you should get 2 days so you'll be able to have a total of 6 for yourself.
  6. I have used packing tape on multiple occasions and I have asked to borrow a stapler from the hotel front desk on multiple occasions. Both of these methods worked. But, after using these methods several times, I decided to just buy the luggage tag holders. They make it so much easier. I don't have to pack a stapler or packing tape. For $1.25 each, they've been worth every penny.
  7. She should get it. According to the benefits list, a child receives a discount equal to the parents discount. crown-and-anchor-society-benefit-grid.pdf (royalcaribbean.com)
  8. There will be plenty of ops. There will be the boarding photo(s), they sometimes now have multiple backgrounds to stand in front of. Photographers will be in the MDR almost every night, not just formal night anymore. There will opportunities on the pier at each port. They will be set up in various locations throughout the ship at various times. YMMV on your cruise but these are ones that I notice on a regular basis. Maybe I notice these more because I don't want my picture taken. I always say "no" but I'm looking for ways to avoid them in the first place.
  9. If you like Freedom class, you'll also like Voyager class. They have the same layout. The only difference is that Freedom is a little longer. I've been on both classes and to be honest, I don't see/feel a difference. Each ship has some different venues/amenities than the others so you'll notice that.
  10. Sure you can, if they are all Diamond +. Each D+ member gets 2 free days so you'll have a total of 8 free days on your 9 day cruise. You can pay for 1 day on the ship. The one caveat to all of this is with the free D+ days, only one person can be logged on at the same time. If you can all agree to share nicely 😁, this would be the best/cheapest way to go.
  11. He said he was wanting to be Pinnacle so that he could have it for free for the duration of the cruise.
  12. I was going to do the math but you beat me to it. Now the question becomes, does the extra cost to get there outweigh the financial benefit once you are there? I wouldn't spend $1,000 to save $500. You'll get there eventually and then the benefits will be yours without having to pay extra to get them.
  13. I just checked in for my March 16th cruise. I tried to do it on line and it required me to go through the whole process to pick my check-in time at the pier. I switched to the app and I was able to pick a check-in time for my entire party of 8.
  14. Click on "select a different cruise". Scroll down and click on "Don't see your cruise? Let's add it now". Then click on "Browse our ships". From there you can pick your ship and select a sail date.
  15. Spreading it out is common and very easy. For example, if you log in on day 1 at 3:00pm, you'll have access until 3:00pm on day 2. Then your spouse could log in at 3:00pm on day 3 and you'll have access until 3:00pm on day 4. Granted, it's not 4 days of 24-hour service but you will have access to the internet on 4 different days.
  16. Do you remember where you had lunch in St. Maarten? Was it the Dutch Blonde Bar? How was the food? Do you recommend it? Here's a tricky one maybe. Did you notice if any of the places along the beach had free WiFi? We'll need to check in for our flights on Southwest around lunch time so I'd like to find some WiFi if I can.
  17. The vouchers can be used to purchase any alcoholic drink with a value up to $14. If you want a drink that costs more than $14, you can use a voucher for the first $14 and then pay the difference of your more expensive drink plus 18% added to the extra cost. Most alcoholic drinks on RCI ships now cost, or are very near to, $14. So, a "regular" martini will cost $14 and you can use a voucher to purchase it. If you want a more expensive martini, you'll have to pay anything above the $14 voucher value.
  18. Was it a surprise? If so, what a cool way to let someone know they are booked on a cruise.
  19. You must have SOMETHING on your feet, they don't care what.
  20. And when the authorities show up, they can do "the banana in the tailpipe trick".
  21. Freedom is very different after pandemic than she was before pandemic. She went through amplification just before the pandemic. We were on her only post amplification cruise before the pandemic. I love the changes that were made especially the addition of El Loco Fresh on the pool deck and Playmakers.
  22. I think you'll find that a Bloody Mary will cost the same as any other alcoholic drink you buy.
  23. It's not midnight EST, it's midnight at the time zone the departure port is located. For instance, if the cruise leaves from the west coast, it will be midnight west coast time which is 3 hours behind EST.
  24. So you were already high and everything look upside down?
