  1. It used to be two bottles per stateroom. It is now one bottle per person that is of drinking age.
  2. What are you plans after the cruise? Will you be spending any time in Seward? We've been to Alaska twice (5 years apart) and did a tour with Kenai Fjords Tours both times. We did the same tour twice because it was so good the first time. The tour was the 6 hour Kenai Fjords National Parks Tour. We saw A LOT of whales and also got to see glaciers and other gorgeous views within Kenai Fjords National Park. This is about 5 humpback whales munching on a school of herring.
  3. As someone else stated, book the person now (if there is lifeboat capacity) and worry about where the 4th person sleeps after (s)he is booked. It doesn't matter where that person ends up sleeping and no one will care. You do not need to bring bedding from home, other than maybe an air mattress. Wherever that 4th person ends up sleeping, the room steward will provide whatever bedding you need, whether it's in the 4-person room or the 2-person room.
  4. Try logging in to C&A and then go through the booking process. Your C&A number will autofill and you might see the discount after that.
  5. You can watch the muster drill video on the app while you're waiting in line to check in. It's only about 5 minutes (maybe less?). You can then go directly to your muster station once you board.
  6. I think you meant to say wifi calling, not wireless, correct?
  7. I tried that once and even THAT didn't work. The pictures were good enough for a passport but not good enough for Royal Caribbean? That's when I gave up and just let them take them at the pier.
  8. A big down side (at least it used to be) is the smell of smoke coming from the casino.
  9. Don't make the switch based solely on when a refurbishment happens. RCI does a very good job of maintaining their ships. We sailed Liberty last year and had no issues with her condition.
  10. If you want to see a second name/account, you have to sign in a second person.
  11. Book a balcony cabin for the 3 of you and put the 2 teens in an inside across the hall.
  12. I have also seen, even if you have a later check-in time, if all of the people scheduled in front of have checked in, they will then let you check in. There is no need to make you wait if no one is waiting to check in.
  13. We always get to the ship early. We carry on one small suitcase with bathing suits, meds, a change of clothes etc. Everything else gets checked. I think if we got to the ship after the cabins opened at 1:00. we'd carry on everything. I like to get the unpacking out of the way so we can start to enjoy our vacation.
  14. I honestly can't believe people pay the prices RCI is asking for add-ons at Coco Cay. A lot of those add-ons are more than some of us pay for the entire cruise. But... if people keep paying those prices, RCI will keep raising them to see how much they can get.
  15. Hi neighbor! With assigned seating yes, it's the considerate thing to do to let the staff know what nights you won't be dining in the MDR.
  16. If you're taking a taxi to see Blackbeard's Castle, you might as well have him take you to Emerald Beach after that. It will cost less and timing won't be an issue.
  17. We've experienced it working. DW set her purse down on the bar once and it slowly "walked" away from her.
  18. We had 2 or 3 inches on the ground yesterday and woke up to 4 or 5 inches of new stuff this morning. I love the snow and the cold. I look forward to shoveling/snowblowing/plowing. It's just that when we want to get away from it, I don't want to go to FLL or Miami where there is still a chance it could be 40 or 50 degrees. When we go to San Juan, we are already in the Caribbean and the temps are usually in the 80s.
  19. We always go down a day or two early to reduce the effect of flight delays/cancellations. We always cruise somewhere between mid-February & mid-March. On more than one occasion, snow/ice has caused us to arrive the day after we were supposed to.
  20. This is very odd to me. We live in New York State where the only place you can buy alcohol is at a liquor store. There have been a few times that it would be handy to replenish a supply while camping 😁.
  21. We'll be on in March with a few new cruisers and I think the floor would be fun for them to see. But, I'm not sure the revolving floor is still functional. Maybe someone can confirm it for us.
