Is it true regarding Elite and Laundry tokens?
MustangGT replied to azgrandmax3's topic in Princess Cruises
Gotta love the consistent inconsistency of Princess š Why, oh why canāt passengers expect the same experience fleetwide? We had to push to get the free tokens on the same ship on a single cruise!! -
Yay!! I mentioned this on our survey! I agree with @Ombud - great news for DIY excursions!!

I have heard thatās why they nicknamed it āCosta Maybeā š

Is it true regarding Elite and Laundry tokens?
MustangGT replied to azgrandmax3's topic in Princess Cruises
I, too, wondered if this rumor was true. On our recent B2B on Island Princess, I went to Passenger Services during our first cruise and got tokens with no problem. On the second cruise I returned to Passenger Services and requested the tokens. I mentioned that they were free but was told, āWe donāt do that.ā I pressed that it was done on our first cruise and the lady relented and gave me tokens but couldnāt resist reminding me it was against policy. As usual, counting on consistency with Princess is not possible. -
Mini-suites don't have to pay room service charge???
MustangGT replied to mvaldes140's topic in Princess Cruises
And, as we all aware, any experience on a specific ship will not mean the same experience on another ship. To me, that is one of Princessās problems. If only they could give every passenger on every ship the same level of service and policy! But, they seem content to be consistently inconsistent! -
I have used the lanyard, the silicone band from Princess, the silver bracelet from Princess (canāt wear it as it seemed to fit fine but is small and difficult to snap closed) and for our most recent cruise found these thanks to a recommendation here on CC. It attached easily to my Apple Watch band and I loved it! My husband, not so much. He stuck with the silicone one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C3TH31JT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Glad it works for you! Just remember that the reserved seating is only for Production shows, not every event in the theatre. -
Paper copies of port guides still available?
MustangGT replied to TW6cruiser's topic in Princess Cruises
Just off Island Princess and port guides were only available on the app and we had no way to print themš -
Yes, they did have the Pub Lunch in the MDR on one of our sea days. We had at least 9 sea days over the 28 days and we only saw it once. No biggie! š

Iāve been called several times and have always been polite when I tell the caller we are not interested. In the past week, I have been called by Ruby with the same spiel. The only reason I answered was because the caller ID showed my Princess Cruise Plannerās name and number!! I told Ruby I was not interested, wonāt be interested in the future and to take me off the list and not call again.

We were on the Island for 28 days and never heard about Alfredoās pizza in Sabatiniās š¢

Yes, it was strange. My husband isnāt a beer aficionado but prefers Mich Ultra over other Busch products and especially over DosX!! š¤£

Just off a B2B on Island. Wanted to trade alcohol for Michelob Ultra. Room Steward checked and was told it couldnāt be exchanged because Mich Ultra is a Premium Beer. It costs $.50 more! We could exchange for Budweiser products. Didnāt push the issue. When we met the F&B Officer at our Meet & Greet on our 2nd cruise, I brought it up with him. He agreed that Corp had changed some of the parameters on what could be exchanged and we both admitted it was petty (my word, not his), disallowing an exchange that would cost Princess $4.00 per cruise! He then excused himself and called Room Service to make the exchange for Mich Ultra. Kudos to him, but I should not have had to get him involved.

So happy you are cruising with G!! What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! Canāt wait to catch up on your blog! Smooth sailing and fair winds! -
Had the Pub Lunch in the MDR on the Island last week. The fish was not good. Nothing like it used to be. Fish and Chips is also one of the always available on the menu under āPrincess Favoritesā and was no better there than the Pub Lunch.

Exactly!! Princess wrote the book on bring consistently inconsistent!! š„“ -
You can wait until you are onboard. In the past, the prices differed between prior to boarding and onboard but that is no longer the case. A big advantage of waiting is being able to use OBC to pay for it when you are onboard!

That would be a passenger on a back to back cruise. Sailed on the previous cruise and staying on for the next cruise. In-transit passengers are given a card to reboard if they did not remain onboard for the turnaround procedure.

Carry On Own Luggage - Southampton Terminal
MustangGT replied to Jeter02's topic in Princess Cruises
The roller bags were legit for airlines, so not overly big. We were told as soon as we walked into the terminal that we needed to go back outside and check all of our bags. This was at the Ocean terminal. Our cruise in a few weeks is at the Mayflower terminal but we will just plan to check it all. I also like to take my bags onboard myself so the unpacking can begin!
