  2. I believe the Caribbean Princess arrives at 7am (not 6am like the Regal), maybe you can ask on a current roll call and see if someone has the correct times for that ship. I think there is also a posting I read today from someone who just go off the carribean princess, maybe you can ask there. Sorry I can be more helpful
  3. Hopefully I did this correctly, otherwise it was in a "live from" Regal Princess sometime in January. I just have the screen shot I took.
  4. There was a recent (on 1/9/23) picture posted of the debarkation letter from the Regal princess that showed 7:30 meeting time for transfers to MIA. The Regal has a 6am arrival time in Port Everglades, so check to see what your ships arrival time is. You might be better off doing self disembarkation and taking an Uber or cab to MIA. Also keep in mind the day of the week you arrive which can have an effect of traffic.
  5. BTW having them start the meter doesnt always work either. I was in a taxi alone from port everglade to Fll and I watched the driver start the meter however once we left the port area I looked at the meter and noticed it was off. I asked the driver about it and he said fare is $20 flat fee. As a female alone in cab at 730am I didnt say anything. When I got to the airport I handed him the fare and didnt tip him. Had he left the meter on I would have given him the same amount or more anyway but I still felt scammed.
  6. The sad part is that my status had always showed correctly on the app before this update and have never had an issue prior to this.

My situation is even worse than your travel agents....not only am I now blue and not elite and my app is showing that I can purchase internet at full price like your agent, but I had already purchased the 4 device plan before the price change with my elite discount! The internet purchase is showing on my travel summary and I have screen shots of everything so I hope that someone will figure out how to correct it. I sent an email to the address posted here and will wait to see if it gets corrected. Not happy!
  8. I honestly dont remember, but I would imagine that there would be some type of lane set up for people who cant get the facial recognition to work or get a "see agent" message . FYI, I have only arrived at Ft Lauderdale on a Princess ship so im not sure if facial recognition is at all terminals.

I dont think that you can use global entry for cruises as proof of citizenship.In the past before they installed facial recognition at debarkation there was a separate line that moved quicker if you showed them your global entry card that bypassed the long lines. They still might have the separate line but im not sure because the last time I disembarked there was no line at all and the facial recognition was super fast so I didnt even look for it. I dont know what Caribbean itinerary you are doing but you might be able to use birth certificate( with raised seal) and a drivers license as proof of citizenship if it is a closed loop cruise but a passport is a better choice in case you need to get home from one of the Caribbean islands in an emergency.
  10. I have made an 8:15 flight before but that wasn't the flight I actually had booked. I paid for a flight change at the airport because I got there so early. I did express walk-off and took taxi to airport. I also had global entry for the pier, TSA precheck at the airport and I only had carryon luggage. That being said I dont think I would have actually booked that early of a flight.
  11. The Enchanted Princess is docked today at the pier in Old San Juan (walking distance to stores etc), if that helps.
  12. Did you try canceling the original order and then placing a new one with the option of picking up at the pier? or try chat feature and see if they can amend your order?

  14. Not really solution to your problem but did you try to put in a bid for an upgrade to a balcony cabin?
  15. Are they giving you any compensation besides the return of the port fees?
  16. If you have an iPhone I use the world clock in my clock app to set my destinations so that way I am aware of the actual time because sometimes my phone updates to correct time and sometimes it doesnt. Hope this makes sense.
  17. @ceilidh1curious as to why your prepaid gratuities for 3 of you is so high? And I think you can also have the FCC reversed and put back on credit card if you made payment for those items with a credit card.
  18. I have a question for anyone who has sailed after the change in US embarkation (after Sept 6) not requiring a covid test but stopping in a Canadian port, which you need a negative test result . I know that you need to fill out the ArrivCan app and take an appropriate covid test, but by whom and where is your covid test looked at and or uploaded?

  20. @tectopCheck out the Market Pavilion Hotel. I stayed there and it is a great location near great restaurants, walking distance to historic sites and the pier.
