Where are you seeing they have contacted a lawyer? You can believe everything you read on the internet. It would make sense for them to seek guidance from a lawyer, it doesn't mean they are trying to blame anyone. Having someone not emotionally involved guiding them is a smart move. My heart goes out to this family.

Doubtful they will bring a larger table but from recent videos online, both of those cabins have small dining tables. Could you bring one over to the other balcony and try to finagle some kind of gaming table using folding board games and a vinyl tablecloth to hold it together? Even a large piece of cardboard with a tablecloth over it might work.

Was it the transfer bench kind that is supposed to be half in the tub and half out? We have one of those at home from a multitude of orthopedic issues. You just adjust the two legs in the tub shorter and the other two are out of the tub. The shower chair we got on Anthem was just an armless stool. We were in a balcony cabin for that sailing and nothing bigger would have fit in the shower.

Not correct, it is 60 days in advance for sign language interpreter requests, 30 days for other requests.

From your other posts, it looks like you are on Anthem. There are three different types of JS on Anthem. There are some JS that used to be called Spa JS and actually have a tub and a stand alone rain shower that has a tiled seat in it but it would easily fit a shower chair and has a very short step into the shower. Do you know what type JS you have? The ones on the hump at the aft elevators have the stand alone shower.

Yes, you can request a shower chair from the special needs department. Request must be made 30 days prior to sailing. The chair is more like an armless stool, not the transfer type elongated chair.

That is great advice to follow. Having gone on this journey with my Dad, I know how different things can be for each patient. You positive attitude and the love and support of your family and friends are so important, along with your medical care. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I don't post much on the medical discussions on this thread but this just hits close too close to home. 🙏🏻

Are you doing a balcony guarantee? If you have booked a balcony on Anthem, the cabins that have sofabeds and sleep 3 or 4 people have the bed by the bathroom and the sofabed by the balcony. Anthem cabins have two wardrobes instead of a closet, so you might be able to fit a stroller in the larger wardrobe but it will be tight. You will have room by the sofabed for the pack and play. It will just be a little tight trying to get by to the balcony. You can move the chair for the vanity and that should give a little more room. There are lots of videos to see the layouts. Once you get your cabin assigned you will be able to see something online in the same category.

Independence OTS - Grand Suite
reallyitsmema replied to Twenty2020's topic in Royal Caribbean International
If the price difference is only $800 total, I would go the suite, depending on number of people we are talking and also, who they are. I would not want to be sharing a suite with another couple, but no issues with sharing with my kids. Suite will give you the suite lounge and drinks during happy hour. You would all also get two points per night, instead of one, if you are chasing a loyalty status. Priority boarding and disembarking is good for a group too. -
Diamond (Crown Lounge) Access

Exactly, perks change for loyalty programs constantly. Some just have a hard time dealing with that fact and like to complain constantly. -
His endocrinologist has been stepping him up on one of his medications and was okay with the delay as it wasn't critical to increase immediately. It was just more of an attempt to get his A1C down. If it was a critical need, we would have gone pharmacy shopping to try to find it. CVS just didn't have any in their network. I am glad your husband hasn't run into issues finding what he needs. 🙂

It is also causing issues with availability for those with diabetes. My DH is diabetic and we had a tough time getting one of his prescriptions because of the demand. It took three weeks to get the new prescription dosage because of no availability in our area at all. Luckily, he could use the lower dosage in the meantime.

My sister is the one buying and cooking the turkey, so I have no say in the matter. They don't usually cook anything that has been frozen and get meat from a particular butcher, fish from a fish store, etc. Just the way they do things. I don't get a frozen turkey when I do buy one, I always get a fresh one from a local meat market. Just preference for the holidays. I do shop regular supermarkets though otherwise as I am too cheap for all specialty everything. 😄
