Good afternoon. Thanks for the FR/Daily. I'll salute the talent of the Harlem Globetrotters. As mentioned yesterday, mentors are important. I have mentored and I myself had 2 special ones. I will try to stand up for myself when needed; I used to be very shy, but have gotten over that a good bit. Not sure about the quote. Interesting side dish meal. Pass on the drink. The wine's a little pricey for me. I haven't been to Tunis. 2 good days. It's 34F with light snow off and on; I don't think much accumulation. I took a Benadryl last night and got about 4.5 hours of sleep. Today I'm working on the contract for my restoration work. I also got a bill from the mitigation company, almost $1300, so I need to contact my insurance tomorrow as I thought they would also pay for that. Sharon, I was on Celebrity, but looking at the HAL website there is a special requirements form here https://book.hollandamerica.com/specialServices/login.action. I can't access it as I don't have a booking, but I found the form elsewhere and there is a place to ask for a needle disposal . But as already mentioned, you can probably just ask your steward for one.

Sharon, when I went on my TA this year, then 3 weeks in Germany, I bought a case that is for insulin syringes and has cold packs. I stored the medication in the fridge on the ship, and in Germany. I asked for a sharps container on the ship using the special needs form prior to cruising, and just packed the syringe used in Germany in the case to bring home. Now I'm back on these big pens for injections, which had been unavailable for a while.

I have been a mentor during my work days, and appreciate those who mentored me in the past (early for Jan 7). I'll have to think about the quote. I'll pass on the meal, drink and wine. I have been to Milford Sound. It's 35F and snowing for the last hour. I got about 3 hours of sleep last night, without taking anything. I'll be in for the weekend, doing some tidying up as my leg allows. I also have a diamond dot kit I want to start, as well as the picture of us puzzle that BFF gave me for Christmas. Good afternoon. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. I'm not a birder, but like birds if they leave my car alone! I've done low carb, but not keto. I'm glad screenwriters are back at work. Good quote. Pass on the meal (fish), and wine. The drink looks ok. I have not been to Egypt. Interesting days in history. It's 35F and partly sunny. They're predicting 2"-5" of snow over the weekend. It's been a good news, bad news day. The good is that I think due to all the Benadryl I slept 5 hours last night! Then fell back asleep at 9AM and slept another hour. I feel so much better today with some decent sleep. I went to PT, then to pick up some prescriptions. Unfortunately the pharmacy closes from 1:30 to 2. I wasn't going to make another trip, so I sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes. When I got home I called the imaging scheduling regarding the spine injection procedure. The lady who answered was nice but couldn't find any paperwork. 😠 She put me on hold and looked all over. So she also gave me the doctor's fax number and I had to call Neurosurgery late this Friday afternoon, and have the requisition refaxed to both scheduling and the radiologist's office. She even called me back to say both faxes went through. So did I just waste 10 days thinking things were proceeding? @aliaschief and @DWAliaschief Bon Voyage! @Crazy For Cats Tucker is very handsome. @ottahand7 Nice to see you two and your meals. @seagarsmoker I'm glad you're continuing to feel better. There was snow on the rooftops and grass this AM, but roads are fine. Yesterday the Rheumatologist was very sympathic toward my plight, but it's really out of her area of expertise. She did find a couple of small rheumatoid nodules on the inner aspect of my fingers. I got about 4 hours of sleep, having taken Benadry for my RA injection last evening. @Denise T Congrats on working toward your doctorate. @dfish Welcome back to the Daily meal, and thanks to TIna @0106 for helping out.
