Good afternoon. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu, @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. I'll celebrate 33 flavors if it's ice cream. Caregivers deserve to be celebrated every day, for the tough job they have. Ear care is important to prevent hearing loss from too loud sound. I don't agree with the quote (typical Woody Allen). The meal sounds good. Pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Arrecife. 4 good days in history; I'll especially celebrate the discovery of insulin, which kept Type 1 diabetics alive (and they made no profit for it). It's cloudy, but 60F already! Yesterday I got a good bit done in the DR, but I'm waiting for a delivery of china felt separators, as I ran out. My knee is protesting somewhat from being on my feet a lot, but it's wonderful to be able to do it. I slept pretty well, but had some pain from awakening on my back, and a bit of numbness. Today I'll continue in the DR. I have swags and jabots on the windows in my fairly formal DR, but they are 30+ years old, dusty (I don't vacuum them like I should 😲) and somewhat faded from the sun. My colors are aqua and I can't find anything to replace them, without going custom. I'm not going to pay that as I'm already planning to send out my DR chairs to be reglued and seats recovered. I thought I had maybe something left over, since in my first house I dressed 2 sets of large windows. I went upstairs to a storage closet and found a whole set looking new! Woohoo! My friends from the UK are coming back over this week again for hockey. It seems soon since they were here in November, but I realized while they're here it will be my friend Ruth's heavenly birthday. Her Mom will be here, along with a family friend, while her Dad can't travel and will remain in the UK. @0106 Bon Voyage Tina! The people I use for donations have been emailing me it seems almost every day, asking if I have anything; but I need to get more stuff together before I schedule a pickup. @dfish I've made the Skinnytaste version of the soup, and it's quite good. @smitty34877 Well wishes for getting through the weekend. Good afternoon. Thanks for the FR/Daily. I admire those who rescue cats (and dogs). There have been many reports here lately of filthy homes filled with 40-60 animals, many sick and some dead. Awful, but once they're cared for by local rescues, most are adopted, thankfully. I'll pass on banana cream pie. Old stuff day is for me; I have some furniture from the 1800s in my 100+ year old house. My friends used to joke that I needed to rope off the LR like they do in museums. Also I have many things from my DM and her DM (although I am purging some now). I like the quote. The meal looks good except for the work making the Ethiopian spice, pass on the drink and wine. I haven't been to Boracay. 2 good days in history. I did a Sound of Music tour in Austria on one of my Germany trips. It's cloudy here, 47F, and raining since last night (should stop soon). Yesterday at PT I really did a lot. I was there for 2 hours. Just had minor leg tingling, although some stuff bothered my back a bit (just the garden variety low back discomfort) and my knee. I slept about 5.5 hours last night. Today I plan to work on putting some china back in the cabinet (once I clean the glass). Otherwise, not much happening here. @LAFFNVEGAS Bon Voyage! @Cruise Suzy Welcome home! @cat shepard Thank you. Great news that DSis is out of ICU. I hope her breathing issues can be managed successfully. @kazu Prayers that your pain improves and I'm sorry February was so hard for you. I hope you hear from your family soon. Meantime, we're here for you! I'm also sorry that DH has more itching. I'm sure the steroid drops were maybe masking it. I'm very grateful that I'm not a steroid responder (having elevated eye pressure), since I've been on steroid eye drops for 7 years now for my uveitis, along with other meds. I'm in an online uveitis group, and many have to stop the steroid drops due to elevated eye pressures. @marshhawk Bless you for all you do for the stray cats in your neighborhood. @ottahand7 Welcome home! Congrats on the new truck. @smitty34877 Oh no, sorry to hear that the aide is sick and couldn't come. I hope the weekend isn't too rough. Prayers for you all. Good morning. Thanks for the FR/Daily @kazu, @richwmn and maps @rafinmd. Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit! No babies here. Endometriosis is an important health challenge for many woman. Yes, my day! I eat a spoonful of peanut butter (chunky) almost every day, for a snack. True quote. I like the meal. Pass on the drink and maybe on the wine. I've been to Florence on a land trip, but not Pisa or Livorno. I'd like to go back with BFF, as he hasn't been to Italy. 3 good days; I love Yellowstone. It started out frosty here a 23F, but it's going up to the 50's, and it's sunny! I slept about 4.5 hours, but had a nap from 4-6 in the recliner yesterday. The leg is feeling pretty good. I have PT early this afternoon. I want to start getting my china and glassware back into the china cabinet over the weekend. @kazu I hope you are having less pain today. @StLouisCruisers Thanks for your photos. @smitty34877 Continued prayers for you and your family. @ger_77 Sorry to hear that Wayne is in the hospital. Good morning. Thanks for the Fleet Report/Daily. Happy Leap Day! Any Dailyite Feb 29 birthdays out there? I'll salute Digital Learning and Toast (bread or with a drink). Nice quote. I like the meal. Pass on the drink and yes to the wine if someone is buying. I haven't been to Port Vila. 2 important days in history. It's sunny, but cold (23F). It's 30° colder today than yesterday morning, and with the wind chill 40° colder, due to high winds and a cold front! But 69 by Monday, go figure. I slept about 5 hours, but woke up with some leg pain. Not bad, and it went away when I sat up in bed. Hopefully I don't keep having more symptoms; that was my fear when they couldn't drain/rupture the spine cyst. But I'm grateful for the pain relief I do have. Today more drawer organizing. I hope to hear from the renovator soon, regarding the radiator and cleaning the living room (I won't move stuff back in until it's cleaned). Yesterday morning I got a scare as I looked at my outside camera clips, and someone was walking through my yard at 4:59AM! His head was down looking at his phone, and he seemed oblivious of the outdoor floodlamp that had come on from his motion. I think the was just cutting through, but I need to go out and check the 1 back gate I can't see from inside.
