We are not in a post covid world yet so not sure where you live to say that? Each country makes their own rules about individual tours It is not a Princess decision We have done our own thing in Mexico and have planned to do that in Europe and Canada Check the rules for the countries you will be visiting Some require proof of vaccination and some require negative covid tests

Renting cars is very difficult or impossible at this time! There will indeed be taxis at the port The private tour I am planning is with the Sydney Cape Breton Island Taxi Tour company The owner,Simon, told me he has the contract to provide taxis at the port in addition to offering premplanned tours He has been very amenable to planning something not listed on his web site

Hi, Are you on the August 31 sailing? That's the one we're on We are alo wheeling one suitcase each We'll be nearby the day before the cruise and will see how far a walk it might be from the Hilton Garden Inn to pier 11 li it's too far to walk we'll take a taxi

There have been these warnings now for many years At the same time we have done at least 1 Mexico cruise each year for the past 10 years There are also many Canadian and USA citizens who spend the winter in various cities in Mexico We get off the ship and enjoy the ports Ensenada especially should not be feared! Living close by in San Diego makes it easy to visit there to spend short vacations or day trips for wine tasting I wouldn't worry!

There are many fabrics that do NOT wrinkle at all We roll our clothing and never need to iron anything Choose clothing to pack with this in mind

There are no car rentals anywhere because of short ages of cars and parts You might look into the Sydney Taxi Tour company I am emailing with them for our cruise stop on Sept 6 They seem very responsive

Hi Both the hotels.com and trip adviser have maps showing hotels in the area you prefer You can put in your dates and criteria for price and amenities There are also reviews We on here can tell you where we have stayed but don't know prices for your dates

I am not aware of any special Mexico travel warnings if they exist remember that Mexico is quite a large country and you need more specific ideas of where these warnings are mentioned We've done 2 Mexico cruises in the last4 months and all,was just fine!!

It appears that there are NO car rentals available at all in Sydney for our date in September Too bad!

Does the flat rate taxi fare from JFK also apply for rides to Brooklyn? If not then that's another reason to stay in lower Manhattan

We always check our balance several times during the cruise We NEVER leave obc on board as it is easy to just take it out from the casino! I don't t rely on Princess sending me extra money I wanr it when ai leave the ship

We also just walked to "our" table each night It is not rude It was expected by our wait staff It was not just on the Grand but also on the Coral Princess As for not wanting a table close to others,that has to do with covid We want separation since noone wears masks in the dining room

Viator does not actually run any tours They are a 3rdmparty clearing house We never book with companies like that! I would either book a excursion with the cruise line or even better book with the local tour operator You can always find them bynusing Google in the town you are visiting

Canada does not offer exemptions You must upload vaccine info into the Arrivecan web site before being allowed onto the ship Princess cannot give you an exemption to visit Canada

That is just terrible! We expected to have Princess do testing on board before our flight home from Quebec! I hate the idea of the do it yourself test There is no guarantee that the internet will work well,or that we will be able to understand the proctor watching us just made final payment and am really m angry about this!

Agree that hotel rates don't go down as time gets closer to your dates We book hotels the first chance we get after booking a cruise Sometimes over a year out I do everything on line

We had no trouble getting the same table with the same staff each night on both of our cruises on the Grand Princess We did not have to beg

@TedfergFunny we are on the same exact cruise,just earlier I don't remember why I picked our dates and not yours

We brought good masks from home but Princess also had 2 k95 masks waiting for us on our nightstands We used them every day!

I think maybe other people have booked and there may be few rooms left I am paying an AAA rate of$184 plus about $30 of taxes All in the total for one night for 2mpeople in a king size bed is $215.79 Waaay less than what the web site shows for your date!!
