  1. First of all, I haven't committed to booking EZAir flights. As always, it will depend on pricing and scheduling. However, we have in the past found EZAir international pricing to be very competitive so I will certainly be investigating once the flights become available. Second, although anything can happen your scenario is so unlikely in my view that it will not be part of my decision making process. However, I must admit I hadn't thought of this potential eventuality. Finally, I would most likely still take the land tour. It is very immersive and we are very much looking forward to it, perhaps even more than the cruise this time around. We might even add additional touring before or after the currently booked tour in place of the cruise.
  2. Just to be clearer, I'm not asking about the number of days airlines allow you to book a flight prior to flying. I'm fully aware of the 330 days rule. I'm asking if the first flight has to be within a specific number of days of when your cruise sails when booking through EZAir. In our case we will need to fly to Japan about 18 days before our cruise. I'm guessing this won't be a problem, but I'll be able to definitively verify this in a few days.
  3. We are booked on a Diamond Japan cruise which sails 4/5/2025. We have also booked a non Princess escorted land tour in Japan which starts 3/22/2025. When booking EZAir flights is there a limitation on how early the date can be for the US to Japan flight (e.g. 3/19/2025)? Thanks,
  4. I'm not sure what you mean. I have never seen any option to select the number of passengers until after you have selected a specific cruise. You seem to be insinuating that in the past there has been an option to select the number of passengers at the same point where you are setting the other filters (e.g. destination, length, month, embarkation port, ship). Am I misunderstanding you?
  5. Just curious about the title for this thread. Why mention Sky Suite?
  6. This was our recent experience also. Whenever we ordered a soda it was served in a can. This was on the Sapphire in January/February.
  7. I'm curious. Looking at the Deck 14 plan Both Sterling Steakhouse and Churrascaria Grill (Brazilian) are listed. It also seems to show the Churrascaria Grill in a rear corner on the starboard side of the ship. Is it possible both options are being offered, perhaps on alternating nights?
  8. I'm guessing this post might be pulled by the mods. They make it very clear that you're not supposed to share any parts of the surveys on social media. I'm not trying to give you a hard time. Just trying to give you a heads up.
  9. Princess now uses Starlink and the wifi in Antarctica this season was very good. This is a very old thread. A lot has changed.
  10. It was fixed in one of the recent updates.
  11. There is definitely Reserve Class dining for embarkation day lunch. I believe memoak is saying the dining room used for Reserve Class passengers won't be the same one used for embarkation lunch for everyone else. I can't confirm that but I believe that is what is being stated.
  12. I don't know the exact order but Reserve Collection Mini Suite passengers receive priority boarding regardless of their loyalty status. I'd say probably with suites and elites. We always book Reserve Collection but are elite so it wasn't ever an issue.
  13. Also suggest the Sapphire. We recently returned from a 16 night SA/Antarctica cruise with lots of scenic cruising. Besides for all the reasons already mentioned, there is lots go great outdoor viewing. The Caribbean isn't a bad option either, but having sailed both I think there are more options on the Sapphire. Above the bridge is especially "user friendly" compared to other ships. It is very easily accessible from deck 15. There's no need to search for the "secret door" like on some of the other ships. Also, the aft viewing is nicely tiered and provides many great sight lines.
  14. My take on bidding for an upgrade. We have done it 3 times and it was accepted twice. However, we bid on a category upgrade, Reserve Collection Mini Suite to a Full Suite. We also bid with the assumption that we would be happy with the upgrade regardless of location. Also, I would not expect the bid to be accepted with a low ball amount unless the cruise is not selling well. If location is very important to you, bidding on an upgrade might not be your best option, especially assuming the OP is bidding on an upgrade within the balcony category. The cost may not be offset by the benefit. Enjoy your cruise. 🙂
  15. The passenger name when logged in on the Princess website does not always exactly match the name on the passport. My husband's website name is first and last name. His passport includes his middle name. However when we book EzAir his passport name is always reflected on the reservation information. This doesn't resolve the OP's issue but I figured I'd point this out. 😉
  16. Half agree and half disagree. 😉 We really love Crooners. Crooners on the Emerald has a much better and roomier design as compared to the Caribbean. Proximity to the casino isn't important to us. However, totally agree concerning Skywalkers (nightclub). We also like the people mover and the placement of the club, being more aft, provides a better aft view.
  17. Interesting, and disappointing to me that there is no soup listed. Is that something that will be included with any daily specials offered?
  18. Hi Jan, thanks for the birthday wishes. Definitely a rocky rollout. However the updated version has addressed the logout issue. Still can't see multiple bookings without logging off and logging back in with each individual booking number. Can't say much about their development and testing department. These are pretty basic screw ups. Anyway, Happy New Year to you and Paul. We leave for Santiago on the 17th. Can't wait.
  19. First, login in using the Booking Number seems to solve the constant "getting booted out" problem. However this is not very convenient (as opposed to Princess user name and password). Second, the only way I can see to see all of your bookings is to log out and log in individually. Also not very convenient (and now I have to reference multiple booking numbers to stay logged in 😉).
  20. We were supposed to be on that tour. Oh well, "stuff" happens 😉
  21. See the link under the Google Play symbol? This is the summary page for your reservation. They don't make it very easy to find, especially for older eyes. 😉
  22. I believe you mean Skywalkers on Deck 18. Club Fusion is on Deck 7 aft. I agree, we often use Skywalkers for reading and relaxing.
