  1. No not like it used to be. Now it's able to be combined with all the standard promotions.
  2. I found it to be acting funny as well. Sometimes with the cruise only option sometimes no options. I found that putting anything in the "See if you qualify for offers" seemed to cause some of the weird behaviors.
  3. This descriptions is for Miami terminal G. It's just a small room with some seats, nothing impressive.
  4. This is exactly the way I explain it to people. Unfortunately Celebrity sometimes use the words amenities and perks interchangeably.
  5. Because it's the only sale of the year +/- $50 OBC which is gone for a week then comes back. Their marketing team must have take the last few month off.
  6. There is a lounge for suite guests in the terminal. It's way in the back past all the checkin stations to the left of the escalators.
  7. Yes. Great cabin. Largest slant balcony (about 3x normal) and bed by balcony.
  8. Like I said that's exactly where I'll be a week from Monday for 19 days!
  9. Sorry I went to bed. Didn't mean to leave you hanging. Personally I'd have no problem with deck 7. Aft there can be a bit more motion (pitch) than more central locations. There is a chance of minor soot but to me the aft view over the wake far exceeds that.
  10. Yes C1 does qualify for the new deckplans, but the aft concierge cabins have been reclassified as Sunset Concierge Class which don't qualify for 1 cat upgrade.
  11. Yes interior of the cabins are all the same size for all veranda cabins on S class.
  12. Any similar DV (to the C1) available on deck 8. I'd expect that to be in the $4200 range. Personally I'm fine with deck 7-11.
  13. In general any of the concierge class cabins give you a few amenities like embarkation lunch in the MDR, cheap bottle of bubbly, 5 Captains Club points/day vs 3 in a veranda (without Concierge or Aqua designation). These things don't mean anything to me so I will usually go same rooms on deck 7 or 8 and save a few bucks.
  14. Sorry these new categories are giving me a headache. C1 used to be the aft cabins on deck 9-12 but those are now Sunset Concierge Class on the new deck plans that's why I suggested SV also aft. The C1 on the new deck plan (used to be C2) and are the same as DV, the only difference is the decks where the higher decks are considered better location. All veranda cabins on S class are exactly the same size. The only differences are location and some, like the ones you are looking at have better balconies. 9296 is a great cabin with the largest balcony on the slant. 9382 is a Sunset CC. Again a great cabin with the big balcony and aft view. I suspect 9382 is more expensive. 9296 is going to be a deeper balcony so more shady. 9382 is wider and will be sunny. If I were choosing it would come to price difference. I love aft so that would be my preference if the cost difference wasn't more than $10-$20 pp/pd.
  15. Any of those are fine. If you don't need Concierge Class then SV and DV are the same rooms just on lower decks. I just avoid deck 6 and 12 as I want cabins above and below to avoid noise issues. The C1 and DV on the slant of the of the hump are all great and some of my go to cabins on S class. The 1st and 3rd when counting from the widest part of the hump have the largest (deepest) balcony. If the deck plan has a square on it the bed will be by the bath, without bed by the balcony. I'm in 8256 on the 1/2 and 1/12 sailings.
  16. The center balconys are larger because there is a storage room next to the cabin. So for example 1674 has the wide balcony. That's on deck 11 which would be the highest deck with cabins above and below.
  17. @Ace123 explicitly stated the friend was in the same cabin. Cost savings measure??
  18. 2 bottles per passenger on Celebrity. No corkage fee if you have a beverage package. These are recent changes in the last 6 months or so.
  19. I had a case where I called to reprice and I asked for the refundable rate and when they came back and gave me a lower price I said no I wanted it refundable and gave me the price I was expecting. When I received the invoice it said NRD like yours. It turns out once they assign a NRD rate, even if they change it back to refundable rate it stays NRD and can't be changed back. They assured me there was a note on the reservation that it would be refundable and they sent me an email stating the same. Possibly something similar happened.
  20. Recent policy change is only the upper suites with complementary specialty dining included are now welcome to eat in Blu space available. This was explained to us on Equinox in September.
  21. Generally these car services monitor the flight. They do this all the time so they should know about how long it's going to take you get get through the process and should be waiting for you when you get into the public area.
  22. Normally I would agree but.. The cruise is well inside final payment 30-60 days out. At this point I maintain that others have had the opportunity to book if they want. Also the Retreat product is much different than an inside. OP would not be taking the last accessible room either as they stated there were accessible insides left as well. My advise is the same. Call Celebrity, if they will release for general booking go ahead and book it. Prior to final payment I absolutely agree with you.
  23. Really not that rare in Sky Suite category. Suites sell out very early these days.
