  1. My DH enjoys Pellegrino- it was only available with the deluxe package. Also some other flavored waters are only available with the Deluxe package. We also prefer canned soda to tap soda so we can bring to our stateroom. You can go to the website for a listing . If they still publish it.
  2. We really like the flights by Royal and Celebrity. However on our last cruise we had a problem. They weren't as responsive as dealing directly with our airline Delta. We used them because they "lock" the airline price in and you don't pay until you pay for the cruise- however after you pay- not easy or cost effective to modify.
  3. We definately prefer the Oasis Class ships. I enjoy the ships layout with the large promenade. The ship seems roomier IMO. The service on the Oasis class ships IMO much better. We love the Crown Loft suites on the Oasis class ships with the lounge and costal kitchen near by. Felt that the Quantum class was much less appealing. Our favorite Oasis class ship is the Harmony of the Seas- but love them all. Will be trying the Icon next year! Hope we like it! We will be on the Oasis again in August and truly look foward to that cruise!
  4. Many what you consider pop-up sales through the cruise. They sell Tee shirts typically the last few days near the buffet area-
  5. Bet those clothes are or will be back in style! Today kids buy second hand clothes in thrift shops!
  6. Unfortunately another casualty of covid quarantine is that people were home- they (including me) put on weight- many cannot fit into their suits and dress clothes and aren't willing to purchase new dress attire -thus the stretch shorts and pants.
  7. We love the ship! Have done three sailings on her. We enjoy all of the specialty restaurants- but not fans of sushi- The service is excellent and we especially loved the suite facilities. But overall the ship is the best- I am sure you will consider other celebrity E class ships in the future. Have a great cruise!
  8. Just got another Booster . We will be sailing again in August. I also was on the Apex- in March came home feeling okay- but decided to take a covid test- It was positive! Fortunately, I attriute it to the fact that I had the recommended Covid shots and Boosters, I was absolutely fine. Could have happened at airport or from crowded elevators- the ship was full and lots of kids. My DH and I are "young" seniors and healthy.
  9. A much debated topic. My DH wears a suit or sports coat- He also does at work. Again, you will see people dressed up and others not so. He enjoys dressing up as do I. Other nights, he wears slacks and a button down shirt- When we were confined due to covid- we lived in sweats- and looked sloppy- now we enjoy dressing up. Celebrating!
  10. You can do laundry on board- for a fee- unless you are Elite-Elite plus or higher status. If you are in a royal or penthouse suite unlimited. If you request fast service, you might have to pay a premium. We travel heavy to avoid having to do much laundry once on board. If you can uber to a self serve laundry- or go to an adjoining hotel with a coin laundry- do it.
  11. Getting the all in package so worth it for you! Also the all inclusive dinner plan. Gratuities, wiifi, would also be included in the delux packages, as well as some onboard credit.
  12. You can tell the waiter about your show schedule and he or she can make you dinner go faster- we have had dinner multiple times in eden on the Apex and Edge- Takes about 1 1/2 hours- if you drink many cocktails and coffee perhaps more-
  13. We are sailing on celebrity. Thought only disney has a cruise line shuttle from fll to mco?
  14. I enjoy a frozen strawberry Margareta- virgin. Also with this package, while you get bottled water, not the same as you get with the delux drink package. Also, my experience no canned soda- from the tap.
  15. Same on the Adventure of the Seas last May. Our Jr. suite was horrible- our coffee pot needed a long extension cord as no outlet nearby. The room was very tattered and rusty. Needs dry dock asap.
  16. We always try each one at least once. The only expection is sushi on five as that doesn't appeal to us nor does the Porch-too much seafood for my DH. Our favorite is the Lawn club grill, followed by Murano, Tuscan and try the Petite chef at least once. We always take a package, even though we are in a suite.
  17. I definately wouldn't try again. Room IMO seems smaller as it appears narrow. I would definately get an aft balcony which is still a true balcony or a cove balcony towards the front. While not a fully exposed balcony, at least you have fresh air when you want it, and the price is right. Now the royal new ship the Icon will have infinite balconies in some rooms. Reminds me of the huge rocking chair idea on the edge class ships, they were removed as they were a failure, but not easy to remove an ifinite balcony!
  18. Think you mean "backtier" but times no good need to arrive by late afternoon..
  19. tried looking at the yellow planes- but they don't fly from Ft Lauderdale to Orlando- possibly the train . Might have to drive ourselves. But wouldn't enjoy that. Thanks for your help . Uber probably outrageous, if I could even find a driver willing to go.
  20. Great posting! We will be on the Silhouette for the third time in January. A great ship. Have fun.
  21. Hi, My husband and I will be sailing out of Port Everglades in January and meeting family in Disney World. We do not want to rent a car to drive to Disney. We ideally would like a car/van service. Any suggestions that might be cost effective to travel? We will be sailing on a Celebrity cruise ship. We will bring three piecs of luggage and a carry on. Thanks.
