Service wasn’t a problem at all on our summit cruise a couple of months ago , concierge was great . Our butler and many others on the ship staff were Ukrainian.

Only saw first episode and part of second but I liked it. We are supposed to hit 97 today which will break a record. Need to jump in the pool. another tragic shooting this time in Buffalo, we will be Buffalo area in two weeks

Since you get your choice of two bottles of liquor and unlimited refills of beer and sodas refills you can have your friends join you for drinks in your suite, no problem getting free appetizers from your personal room concierge.

I wouldn’t cruise rccl without the UDP, not every meal will be perfect but they all will be way better than mdr . It’s a better bargain on the bigger ships with more restaurants choices, definitely enjoyed it on allure.

Celebrity suite perks are way better than royals , not even close. But we do always book suites on rccl , normally grand suite which gives you access to concierge, happy hour in the evenings normally from 5 to 8 , breakfast in specialty restaurant, priority boarding and embarkation. If you book oasis class or greater full suites give you access to private suite restaurant for all meals , although rccl suite restaurant isn’t as good as celebrity. Junior suite has very limited perks but cabin is about the size of celebrity sky suites.

I much rather stay in Manhattan, lower Manhattan is really close to Brooklyn (just the other side of Brooklyn bridge) and lots more choices for hotels and restaurants, also you could walk to World Trade Center memorial.

Just got out of my pool perfect weather sunny in 90’s , pool water was 84. We had pool replastered late last year so today was my first day in it. Used my rccl beach towel which we got on our allure cruise because we are diamond plus. Should be able to use pool until mid October.

My sister in law passed away from cancer a couple of years ago , she was a huge Buffalo Sabers fan, while in a cancer hospital in Buffalo Dominick Hasek visited her , she was told he spends lots of time there .

I did a cruise out of New York City back in 1979, one of the passengers was ranger great and hall of fame player Phil Esposito, he was very friendly to everyone and during a talent show his wife threw a pie in his face.

I know currently Diamond plus gets 5 free drinks at any bar or restaurant each day .

We did Ravenna on a rccl cruise, they charged for a bus ride but it wasn’t much , nice small city. You should join your roll call and see what your fellow cruisers have booked, when we did Europe most of our tours were small private groups of 8 or less with fellow passengers. There were bus that took you from port to Dubrovnik also , that was a very interesting walled city.

Tonight was first time this season we watched survivor on Wednesday, our favorite singer plays at our favorite restaurant normally ever Wednesday but took off tonight, so we will go Thursday to see another really good piano player singer, and again Saturday to see singer with jazz trio backing him up.

You should be ok for 11:00, 98%of the time

Our visit about 6 years ago, it’s was extremely crowded and very hot with no air movement you couldn’t enjoy yourself , have no intention of visiting the Vatican again.

I grew up on a different area of Brooklyn in Ridgewood across the street from queens . Also lived in Carrol gardens which is close to the Brooklyn bridge , also worked for a while at A&S in IT.

I did read a while ago that they did allow someone in a suite to stay there , and some ships had Covid cabin that had balconies, most likely from celebrity board . I would have hated going from a royal suite to a cabin without a balcony.

I booked UDP even though we were in a full suite , food in specialty restaurants is way better than CK .

Agree I have read that you can get a nice reward if you can prove that .

If you had pictures of them dumping garbage into sea they could be in trouble.

They should give people balcony cabins , wonder how many never report Covid when they have minor symptoms.
