  1. Yes we wave and blow our air horns when the ships leave port. Highlight of our weekends. Our friends love to come over and join in the honking! We never get tired of the excitement! Can’t wait for cruises to begin again. The Port has been empty of cruise ships for months.
  2. A gloomy rainy weekend but still enjoyable to have this view everyday
  3. I live at Port Everglades in one of the high rises. This is the second time October/November Apex has been here for more than 4-5 days. Equinox and Silhouette are just outside Port all day but not on Port Everglades schedule to arrive. Apex is scheduled to leave Port Everglades on 11/7. EDGE is scheduled to arrive 11/8. Maybe APEX has mechanical issues or is being outfitted for Covid lab testing and isolation? When APEX first arrived in Port last month it had tried to dock at the Celebrity pier but ended up backing up and went to the Royal Caribbean pier. It’s been at the Costa/
  4. Pier 66 has been shut down until at least 2022. Hotel is gutted and Reno construction stopped. new homes and condos to be built on part of the land. Hope to see a renewed Pier 66 in 2022 at earliest.
  5. Yes! I believe they off loaded to the coast guard station. Are you at Sky Harbor?
  6. Tender is just arriving. Seems that every day the tender comes into port. Praying that they may be delivering tests and not crew.
  7. On my walk yesterday. Viking Sky and a Royal Caribbean ship. They are pretty close to the shoreline.
  8. Sorry for delay. The things on the beach are beach loungers and cabanas ties up. All beaches are closed here in Florida.
  9. The Sky has been sitting off Fort Lauderdale beach for a few days now. Here’s a photo of her from my condo about two miles south of where she sits.
  10. Where are all the ships going to dock/moor? They all can’t just float around for 30- 60 days can they?
  11. Looks like Regal, Sky, Caribbean, Crown and Island Princess all have March departures originally planned for Port Everglades. Regal should be at Princess Cay; Caribbean is still docked in Port Everglades, Sky is enroute to PE for a Saturday arrival and Island is Colon, Panama due in to PE 3/17.
  12. Where will the ships dock/moor for the next 60 days?
