  1. Odd, we have done it many times on a variety of ships and always get a OBC. Usually when we make the package reservations the host making the reservations just swaps a package night for the same full price night and takes care of the refund becoming a OBC, they have never questioned the swap.
  2. 150 is a little upscale but you will still see some in shorts and t shirts even on formal night. We took our granddaughter to Chop's and 150 CP when she was 10. She loved it, and she is a big eater as she is into every kind of sport. We paid adult prices for her at 150 even though now I don't think it was necessary, the meal at chops we paid for the kids meal and she was allowed to order off the full menu, I remember she ordered the Berkshire Pork belly app and the large Filet.
  3. Jimani, Dominican Republic is 30 miles from Port Au Prince. Last report is they are not seeing any sign of trouble and have taken very little extra precautions. I would have little to no worry about visiting Labadee.
  4. If they say traditional is full ask to be put on the wait list.
  5. Wonderland on Quantum Class is a neglected stepchild. Very small, seating way to close together, no windows, single story. no bar or lounge area that you find on Oasis Class. We have done several Wonderland dinners on Oasis Class, on Quantum and Ovation we walked in laughed and walked out. To the OP, there is a dog house across from the bumper cars and the Buffett in the Solarium is very nice. Vintages was our go to bar on Quantum and Ovation.
  6. They have been looking for a recent update like this. 1 voucher = 40% off under $100 1 voucher = 20% off $100+ 2 vouchers = 80% off under $100 2 vouchers = 40% off 100+ 3 vouchers = 100% off under $100 with 20% OBC 3 vouchers = 60% off 100+ 4 vouchers = 100% off under $100 with 60% OBC added to account 4 vouchers = 100% off 100+ D+ and Pinnacle all wine N/C with $14 OBC with each voucher used. ++++ goes without saying this is per person per day++++ Ship dependent as to being valid on debarkation morning *******please disregard if you lack the ability to see satire*****
  7. FYI for others who may not know. Vouchers are also good for bottled water, specialty coffees, smoothies from the spa, fresh squeezed OJ in the morning, canned soda and beer from the bar and adult milkshakes from JR. Voucher drinks are also sharable with non diamond members.
  8. Yes, and that would include a adult shake with licquor.
  9. Free breakfast is only on Oasis Class ships.
  10. Indy also has a Playmakers. About the same price for a burger and onion rings but far superior. Only good thing about JR is there is no limit to burgers, Chili, fries, onion rings. Only time we now visit JR if for the free breakfast on Oasis Class.
  11. We have had a package on every cruise we have taken in the last 15 years, there has never been a pre reserved reservation for us. I think it is just a place holder in their system for overall reservations.
  12. Family , friends, doing favors for the Cartel. 10,000 a day crossing the Borders into the US. Very few Mexicans or or South Americans coming across. Now seeing the poorest of the poor crossing. Very few women and children, mostly young men. Numbers coming from African Nations are increasing monthly. This is a normal day for him, he and 1 other agent came across a large group one early morning last week. No women , no kids,
  13. You can see the full price in the cruise planner as well as the 3 night package. Several years ago the three night was $99, two years ago it was $119, last year it was $139 on the cruises we booked.
  14. You have a loose definition of a walled fortress. This is the backside of Labadee.
  15. Yep, our son is a Border Patrol Agent. Shop talk is that many will be crossing the Texas or Arizona border within a month. Easy for them to fly into Mexico and join a caravan.
  16. Can you tell us the difference in price of Chef's Table compared to the Empire Supper Club.
  17. Your drinks can be bottled water, specialty coffees, Mock-tails, Cocktails, fresh juice, smoothies, and adult milkshakes from JR. . Any drink under $14. Drinks are available in just about any bar, dining room or showroom. Voucher drinks are also shareable with others. There is no included tip for the server. Start as soon as you board and are reset each morning at 5am. Vouchers are used in the Crown Lounge which has a pretty good selection on appetizers every night during HH, your drink are pre loaded on your sea pass each day, be sure to let the server know if you do not want to use a voucher for a drink you are ordering. If you don't use all your vouchers you can get unopened beer and cokes to take back to your cabin.
  18. I was hoping Navigator would keep it's Southern itineraries and Quantum would sail North.
  19. I would think the Unlimited would be about the same price as doing two A la Carte. 150, chops and Samba Grill would be my pick. I would try for a lunch at Giovannis or Izumi. 150 sounds like a great Birthday dinner.
  20. Cruise lines dot com just named Allure of the seas as the number 1 overall cruise ship of all ships in any main line cruise company. I just tried to post the findings but CC has my post on hold.
  21. Per Person, good at just about any bar, showroom or dining venue. If you go over the $14 you usually get billed for the difference with the difference getting hit with the 18%. I have gone over the $14 many times and was only charged at the Bamboo Room .
