  1. We have had a package on every cruise we have taken in the last 15 years, there has never been a pre reserved reservation for us. I think it is just a place holder in their system for overall reservations.
  2. Family , friends, doing favors for the Cartel. 10,000 a day crossing the Borders into the US. Very few Mexicans or or South Americans coming across. Now seeing the poorest of the poor crossing. Very few women and children, mostly young men. Numbers coming from African Nations are increasing monthly. This is a normal day for him, he and 1 other agent came across a large group one early morning last week. No women , no kids,
  3. You can see the full price in the cruise planner as well as the 3 night package. Several years ago the three night was $99, two years ago it was $119, last year it was $139 on the cruises we booked.
  4. You have a loose definition of a walled fortress. This is the backside of Labadee.
  5. Yep, our son is a Border Patrol Agent. Shop talk is that many will be crossing the Texas or Arizona border within a month. Easy for them to fly into Mexico and join a caravan.
  6. Can you tell us the difference in price of Chef's Table compared to the Empire Supper Club.
  7. Your drinks can be bottled water, specialty coffees, Mock-tails, Cocktails, fresh juice, smoothies, and adult milkshakes from JR. . Any drink under $14. Drinks are available in just about any bar, dining room or showroom. Voucher drinks are also shareable with others. There is no included tip for the server. Start as soon as you board and are reset each morning at 5am. Vouchers are used in the Crown Lounge which has a pretty good selection on appetizers every night during HH, your drink are pre loaded on your sea pass each day, be sure to let the server know if you do not want to use a voucher for a drink you are ordering. If you don't use all your vouchers you can get unopened beer and cokes to take back to your cabin.
  8. I was hoping Navigator would keep it's Southern itineraries and Quantum would sail North.
  9. I would think the Unlimited would be about the same price as doing two A la Carte. 150, chops and Samba Grill would be my pick. I would try for a lunch at Giovannis or Izumi. 150 sounds like a great Birthday dinner.
  10. Cruise lines dot com just named Allure of the seas as the number 1 overall cruise ship of all ships in any main line cruise company. I just tried to post the findings but CC has my post on hold.
  11. Per Person, good at just about any bar, showroom or dining venue. If you go over the $14 you usually get billed for the difference with the difference getting hit with the 18%. I have gone over the $14 many times and was only charged at the Bamboo Room .
  12. Go back to Bikers post 18. Cancel everyones package and just repurchase as need. Sometimes easy is best. Not worth the worry.
  13. We have done several TA'S out of Barcelona OCT/NOV. Each time we stayed at Hotel 1898, upscale in the center of La Rambla, very quiet in the hotel, within walking distance of Sagrada Familia , across from the underground, 10 minute taxi to the port. As soon as you leave the Med it is t shirts and shorts all the way to FLL. check it out. happy TA cruising, it is now our favorite way to cruise, wife and I both in our 70s and we love Oasis Class transatlantics. FYI Port side gets the sun all day, starboard never sees the sun.
  14. We have done 3 TA'S on Oasis class Barcelona to Miami and all were fantastic. Calm seas and T Shirts and shorts after leaving the Med. We have also done several on Voyager and Freedom class, much, much more to do on a larger ship but Voyager would still be a great cruise.
  15. It is a different kids menu + You are taking up space using a four top instead of a two top.
  16. these are included. I have never been charged extra for any drink I have ordered except from the Bamboo room where I got hit for $1.20 on a Deluxe Mia Tia. They even added the 18% to the dollar over. 17. Would your kids not get very bored just watching you eat for 90 minutes. Why not include them in your meal, I think kids eat at specialty for around $10 from the kids menu.
  18. Samba Grill... Meat lover here also, we have had it several times on Allure and it was very good. They had a very good salad bar that I mostly skipped and just filled up with the meat. Did save a little room for a chocolate desert. As I remember it they came around the table every few minutes with new offerings.
  19. Walk off with self debarkation and even with Friday morning traffic you will be to John Wane before 9am. Uber picks up at two locations, be sure to use berth 93 and the Swinford street address. Specify Navigator, Celebrity and Ncl could be there at the same time.
  20. This is Symphony, close to a twin. You would be looking down towards Sorrento's, opposite of this view.
  21. How long start to finish. Is the live music quiet enough that you can talk to each other.
  22. Be careful in the MDR, often they run the drinks on one seapass even though you hand them two. After the first night they usually don't even ask for your sea pass card, they just add it to the primary guest. Same goes for the showrooms, just give them one card and know it will be hit with two drinks. I usually give them my sea pass in the MDR and give them my wife's card in the showrooms. If you have a drink on boarding day before you get the sea pass cards on your door just let the bartender know tour cabin number. PS, pretty good coffee in the Diamond/ Crown lounge. They will use a voucher for drinks in the Crown lounge now.
