  1. Yes, there's a charge to fine st the specialty restaurants, including sushi and yes, including forbYC guests. In Miami, sure - you can ask to be the last group out, shouldn't be an issue. You'll be out of your cabin by 8, 8:30am and waiting around the Top Sail lounge or elsewhere til time to go, usually all off by 9:30/10am. If memory services, on other sailings in YC, breakfast was all done by 9 or so in the restaurant... There's no real late departures ws the ship has to be zeroed by US CBP before boarding can begin.. Loungers may or may not be available. It varies, depends on size of balcony, butler, availability, etc. That's a wait and see, and even then, hit or miss..
  2. Thanks for this. We got our text/email Wed that Divina would be at C this Friday, 28th.. Hopefully, I can convince our Uber driver to follow bus/taxi lane to get us to the YC tent. Otherwise, we'll walk ourselves over to where we need to be . Adventure time.. lol..
  3. You mean the standard Blue Hawaiian cocktail - rum, blue Curacao, pineapple juice and coconut cream? It is tasty! Book the cruise anyways, just to verify!
  4. When we arrived early to Anchorage for our land tour (2 days early, BTW), we couldn't pick up anything or get anything for our tour until the actual first day of the tour. The desk was at the hotel listed as the start of the tour, where we were booked into by the land tour portion.. So, even though we were there two days early and staying at the same hotel as where the land tour would begin, we couldn't get anything on our tour til the actual day it was supposed to begin... I suspect it will be similar in Fairbanks. Doesn't hurt to ask on arrival though ..
  5. Of course. The Anse La Raye waterfall is lovely.. just a bit surprised given what you stated you really wanted to see, and what you ended up choosing.. Enjoy.
  6. Hope you enjoy. That your doesn't actually hit any of the wants you listed in your original post, but you do see a fishing village, waterfall and a little beach time.. no Piton views, etc. Safe travels..
  7. It goes around Castries and you have maybe a half hour or so at the beach, not enough time to swim or anything. Having seen the train a lots, it looks boring as heck. There's simply not much in the area the train can access to see or explore. Castries itself is a gritty working city, not a lot of scenic or restored areas, etc. The cathedral is stunning, that's about all the history and culture you see - and you can walk there in 10/15 minutes... You can walk to the craft and food market super easily from either port, 5/10 minutes.. And the beach is a $10 cab ride away or a 30 minute walk. Sure, it's an easy hour and a half ride around the city. Some information about the country given, etc. The guides try - there's just not a lot to work with in the area the train can actually access.. And for $40 or $50usd pp, not worth it at allIMO - you can hire a taxi for $40/50usd for the entire taxi and get around the city area to some more view points, governor general's house, beach, cathedral, and spend longer at the beach and still stay in the Castries area.. something to consider..
  8. You'll need to organize with a boat/tour operated in advance, you can't just pick this type of DIY up on the pier. Check out Sugar Boat Charters, Mystic Man Boat tours, Shashamane Water Taxi, Israel King Water Taxi, Serenity Vacations.. they can out it together for you .
  9. They all have different age and weight requirements. And suitability would depend on the specific kids - how adventurous they are, active, etc. You know your kids best. There's lots of YouTube videos of each, check them out that way...
  10. That would actually be Cosol Tours. Not "Consol". Lol. They do an excellent day trip hitting the highlights Serenity Vacations. Spencer Ambrose Mystic Man Real St Lucia Experience Island Man Taxi and Tours Explore St Lucia Barefoot Holidays All can provide an excellent experience..
  11. If you're actually being tendered to the Marina - no beach in relatively easy walking distance. At least 45 minutes walk to Reduit.. cab to reduit will run about $10-12usd one way. To Pigeon Island, same fare. PI has ruins, hikes, some history, beach, two restaurants inside the national park, and a handful of spors outside the gates. In case you want to see/experience something Lucian.. Otherwise, Reduit is a typical beach.
  12. Yea, good advice, to always check the terns amd conditions of your booking (or anytbing realiy) BEFORE you put money down. The info that YC deposits are not refundable is very readily available at their website. You do get 1 free cruise change, under the Cruise with Confidence details, but not a refund... Unfortunate that you didn't pay attention to the terms you booked under in advance. Now you know. Hopefully you can change to a different date thatsuits you. Happy sails in the future.
  13. Yup, in Southampton, Port Everglades and LA. There's a desk staffed by a crew member for wine corkage, booze confiscation, etc. Of course, you can always walk past and not pay. Any hoytle you bring to the dining room that's not marked as corkage paid will incur the corkage fee then...
  14. You'll have to contact them directly. Answer varies based on occupancy, cases on island at the time, etc
  15. Fortunately, they have a handy dandy website that spells it all out clearly! Saves us all having to type it out every time the question is asked.. Here you go: https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/onboard/onboard-experience/ Under Alcohol Policy
  16. When will the USA website update? It still shows tests required for non-US residents for cruises departing US for Caribbean/Bahamas.. so how does that work when Canadian and UK sites show no testing required?? 🙄
  17. Third berth is the sofa bed - its a single. It flips over for the bed. 4th is a Pullman above it, flush to the wall also. Loads and loads and loads of photos and videos online
  18. Club 6 Vines The couches by the windows near Good Spirits Chairs across from Orincess Live Wheelhouse/Crown Grill bar area during the day. Outrigger bar aft " fully covered, quiet, bar, food right there Either side of the entrance to The Retreat. Full undercover and semi enclosed comfy couch areas. Wedding chapel
  19. It's maybe once a cruise, but it has been some time since its happened. Essentially, an adults only deck party - Club 6 is opened to the younger kids and the adults party on deck. DJ, some of those white color changing lights (south beach type), dancing, drinks, etc. Basically, Club 6 on deck. It's a nice change of pace when it happens.
  20. February is way, way too far out to be concerned or worrying about it beyond being up-to-date om what's required now. Requirements will change, at least once and probably sever times, between now and then.. Start paying close attention in early January. Until then, no need to really worry about it..
  21. I did, in my first post. Beach, restaurants, etc. All much less exoensive than Naked Fisherman and much closer to port. And much more authentically Lucian
  22. Keep in mind, Celebrity has room service delivery charges between 11pm and 6am, and many of the food items have a surcharge during any hours. It's not 24/7 free/included like Princess. We usually have a load of obc on Celebrity ans use it on some room service splurged.. breakfast has a wide selection, again though many items have a surcharge.
