    My guess is that HAL underestimated how popular the Have it All program would be. With all the free Pinnacle dinners that includes, they probably don't have the availability to use the Pinnacle for anything other than its regular format.

    I LOVE the Pinnacle Grill menu. We'll be eating there three times on the Rotterdam next year. Fingers crossed that it will taste as good as it looks! 🤞

    Thanks so much for reporting back @VMax1700. Good to get confirmation that extra apps are included. I’ve had the same experience with undercooked beef on HAL. Learned to ask for medium if I want medium rare.

    Has anyone done the "Flavors of St. Maarten & St. Martin: In Partnership with Food & Wine Magazine" in St Maarten? I can't find a single review and it's a HAL specific tour.

    Princess has a MUCH better plan than Holland America. There 15 drink limit includes ALL drinks, bottled water, soda, etc.

    It seems that they have reverted back to not allowing you to pre-reserve the MDR on a day by day basis. Hopefully it will return.

    We were true newbies with HAL when we got to experience it as well. It was wonderful!

    I meant it makes sense that they might need the Pinnacle Grill to accommodate all the free HIA dinners.

    We are the same. By far our favourite location on HAL ships.

    That makes total sense. We have three cruises booked and at this point there are no Pinnacle Gala nights on any of them.

    Basing my answer on what I am experiencing first hand on booking dinners on three upcoming cruises. You could totally be right in being able to change things up if you make the effort. 😊

    As I said it depends on the length of the cruise. When you get three free dinners on the Rotterdam, the Canaletto is the third.

    LOL.... pretty sure the point of this thread is that on ONE ship HAL is experimenting with charging extra for appetizers at the Pinnacle Grill.

    Since you are new to HAL, $47.20 per person (this includes tax). 4* & 5* Mariners get 25% off.

    If you have the Have it All package (depending upon the length of your cruise) you will get free dinners at Pinnacle Grill and Tamarind. Rudi's is not included. The cost of each restaurant is listed on the website.

    Again, not on the Rotterdam. The Westerdam is obviously marching to its own drum.... 🤷‍♀️
