  1. Our favorite balconies are on deck 4 aft (Koningsdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, etc) and for our upcoming B2B2B, the Rotterdam. 😊
  2. Sorry about the dry turkey.... but good to know about Costa Maya, thanks.
  3. Thanks for letting me know about the Prime Rib & Coq Au Vin yesterday. Did you go to the MDR tonight?
  4. Pretty sure the Lido is open for Late Night snack from 10:30-11:30pm each night. Here's Crew News' menus from earlier this year. https://rogerjett-photography.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/7-Day-Late-Buffet.pdf
  5. LOL. sorry but I can't help but laugh on the direction this thread has taken.
  6. From the resounding response... I have ascertained that the Friday night special at the Canaletto past and current is not remarkable in any way. 😆
  7. The Friday night special at the Canaletto on the Rotterdam is now Veal Florentine Cannelloni (used to be a Chicken Curry I think). Has anyone tried the Cannelloni?
  8. The most recent reviews on HAL's website are here: https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/shore-excursions.html
  9. I think you are right. We have an 11-day cruise in February and there are only two Gala Nights noted.
  10. And if you're getting the Have It All package, booking legs separately can benefit you as well. 21 day cruise gets you $300 in Shore Excursion credits & 3 Specialty Meals. That same cruise, when booked as 10 & 11 day cruises, gets you $400 in Shore Excursion Credits & 4 Specialty Meals.
  11. @kazu check Crew News' site. Pretty sure he was onboard for the holidays and listed a bunch of holiday menus.
  12. Does this also apply to booking Specialty Restaurants? Meaning… once you are onboard for the first leg of a B2B2B, you cannot reserve those restaurants for the 2nd and/or 3rd legs until those legs actually start?
  13. Asked this a few times on a prior thread, but never got a response. I know if I prebook the specialty restaurants, I pay full price (not part of HIA). And I know my Mariner discount will be credited as OBC once we are onboard. Does anyone know whether that specific OBC is refundable?
  14. If you pre-pay for a specialty restaurant is the Mariner discount OBC refundable?
  15. Sorry I can't step up to help, but I just want to wish you the very very best cruise. You deserve nothing but smooth sailing from here on out.
  16. My best experience with this scenario was 10 years ago. A Canada/New England cruise on the Eurodam, and for whatever reason, the price we paid for an inside cabin ended up being less than the price for a balcony after final payment. My very persistent TA got us a Spa Balcony with no extra charge. So it can happen. 😊
  17. Awesome. We’ll be onboard her in January for 30+ days as well. Hope we won’t need them, but the umbrellas are a great new feature!
  18. We've never been in anything "better" than a balcony. The slippers must be hidden somewhere with the umbrellas for us!
  19. Wow @Miss G that sucks! One reason I swear by having a good TA..... and not a HAL one. And please know I'm not trying to make you feel like a masochist!! 😞 Glad it worked out for you.
