NEVIS is a wonderful place to visit..whatever you do there! One couple we met later, took the Ferry over and had a guide take them to Four Seasons, where they booked a day pass. Live like the Rich and Famous for the day! it is suggested that folks book early on line for good prices and availability!

See all the Gaudi buildings/ parks that you can! Read a bio..very interesting! Modern City Planner! The Montserrat excursion is totally awesome... There is also a great music hall..pre book. tix or wander inside. We wandered in the Older city and discovered some fabulous Roman ruins, part of Barcelona Museum. We liked the main boulevard Las Ramblas. with restaurants/ market/ shopping. ALWAYS PROTECT YOUR WALLETS in the CITY OF THIEVES...even at the airport!

agree about the tubs..can be dangerous! the indoor Retreat area could be so much more..than a long sterile space. How about a real bar..small but with a few stools? Maybe one or two computer stations? Dart board? Pool table? Reading area with comfy seats? Puzzles? Needs a more modern "rethink"!

def will do with a nice glass of wine ..soup sounds great, as are the mains..Will have small salad for lunch on day we go so lots of room to over- indulge!

Not a big issue .. has worked out for quite awhile but its getting testy..Both of the current threads could easily ve closed! But it is a pet peeve that Cruisers from other lines join X and try to change it! Dress Codes.....other rules etc. If they loved the other lines, then stay with them! Celeb is modernizing but still a classy operation..hope it stays that way!

no... ahead.. but not sure how many days.. but when you get the answer, be ready to jump on it...esp if you wait an early slot..usually around 11 or 11:30 And you also check in at the pier on day of the cruise..easy!

? our shoreside expereinces were good including boarding and disembark..... unless you are referring to a suite related feature??

when we do AQ Class we mix things up for breakfast..BLU, Buffet once ircrwice on early days, E + lite bkfst, or Spa Cafe... In AQ Class, BLU is our primary, but we pre-reserve a few Specialty Restaurants for dinner variety...Works out well. This time on ASCENT, we had a lunch in Cosmopolitan..(one of the 4 mdrs), table take out at the Bistro on 5. and Raw on 5..Anything to avoid the lunch buffet! Sadly, the EDEN cafe seemed closed more than usual.. Happily..no weight gain! .

same for us. we had early res for 6 p.m. .From down in EDEN, it was a nice acoustic duo.. so nice upstairs.. after dinner we stayed to hear a full set.. very nice stmosphere Loud comes much later

under the pool deck or a cafe is not the best location..look for a quiter spot

i know but "full is full"..and I was probably way over my carbs for the day! We'll save room on Silhouette for the LCG cookie.

We were in RETREAT..on BEYON last yr. Luminae was a struggle on our cruise so we went to BLU and a few Specialty Spots, BLU was a godsend!

App and photo not needed! check in from Cruise Manager on line we never use the App..unnecessary unless you want it! Sign in early to get the best arrival time..they go quickly!

on Ascent, the outdoor pool was packed every day...even port days. Loud music ..noisy asst CD staff. Idiots moved the crowd in the pool to one end so there could be pool games! We never used that pool once, even though it is great when not crowded. Solarium is best 1st thing.. but with crowds there's a loud din! Packed by 7:30 not good... Hope you find something pleasant! Retreat to the Retreat!

Not sure but didn't you recently get off at GC..when seas were perfectly calm?

we ate there on ASCENT recently..We had perfect weather..no wind. .. .great service ..food was very good but for us not as nice as the indoor restaurants..I had cauliflower app and seafood skewer.. husb had beef... large portions..no room for dessert! we had to ask the after 5: 30 pickle ball players to call it quits..plink plink plink!

The Cartagena, SA on Mac's itin looks nice too!

your goal was to get on this sailing to ports u prefer..So decide to enjoy whatever you are assigned..Always a chance another cabin will open up ( check every day) or as LB_NJ said you can submit a move up bid. ABCs are great!

both were excellent but for us, Ascent in AQ Class with BLU was a bit better compared to Retreat suite class with luminae..(Personal taste...) ASCENT was a more recent.cruise for us with a very full program and improved dining . Can,t go wrong either way! Nervous abt creaky cabins on Beyond but ours was fine!

no need for this thread..maybe mods can integrate it into the existing one....and yes the policy started before the new regime
