I am sailing end of July. . I thought Solarium opened early for breakfast but someone posted a Compass and it says it does not open till 9.30 am. Does anyone know when it opens now? Thanks.

I put a bid on for a Grand Suite but when I go online to see what is available on my cruise - Oasis, it says the ship is sold out. I don't understand then why Royal still pushes for people to try to upgrade, and they are, in all suite categories. Is this a common practice?

I really enjoyed your review as on the Oasis July 28. Perhaps you can help with a question I have as to Port Canaveral where I have never been. I have mobility issues and cannot walk long distances. In some ports over the yrs I have been lucky and have found wheelchair services or shuttles to take me to down the docks. Can you advise if at Port Canaveral there were any such services or if not how long the walk is? I booked the excursion to the Hilton ( RCCL one) but I gather the shuttle is at the end of the Pier. Any info is really appreciated. Thank you.

I am following as will be on the July 28 cruise. If possible, when you dock in Port Canaveral can you let me know how far it is from where you dock to transportation to the beach as I have mobility issues and have never been to PC before. Many thanks.

I read on posts from Nov. that if you have the Key, regardless of what check in time you got when checked in on line, you could still board around 11.30 am. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Thanks.

I am on same cruise July 28. Do you know if there were any shuttles or wheelchairs available at the ship in Nassau or Port Canaveral to help people to get through the port?

I have not cruised since before Covid and cannot recall what was needed when I checked in on line. Any info as to what is needed would be helpful as my check in is this Tuesday. Thanks for any info.

We prefer specialty dining and always book on line before the cruise. It is hard for me to run around once on board, though I have done it. I am not sure how much more this costs me from an UDP but I get the restaurants and times generally I want. ( My daughter also does not like Chops for dinner). For next cruise in July I booked Izumi twice and the Hibachi though on line can only do Hibachi around 5 or 9.

The first RCCL cruise I took was on the Sovereign with my then 6 yr old daughter. We had a cabin with a window on a low deck. It was in 1995. I still have a picture of her from dinner with one of the crew who was dressed as a pirate ( They did some sort of pirate night back then). I have fond memories of the ship.

I think it depends on what matters to you. My daughter and I prefer large balconies and had the large balcony twice. We really enjoyed it. But is a personal preference.

Due to mobility and age issues, I am considering renting a scooter for the Oasis in July. I have never done this before and would appreciate any information, comments, etc from anyone who has rented one in Bayonne. Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all. It would just mean a lot to me to reach Diamond, though I guess I thought there were more benefits, and at my age I would like to do it sooner than later. I may just try a 7 night out of NJ in a a regular balcony room.

This is probably a silly question but I will need 7 points to reach Diamond after a July cruise. If I book 2 balcony rooms on a 5 night cruise - one for me and one for daughter, do I get 10 points and does she get 10 points? Reservation would be under my name. Thanks for any info.

This is all new to me. I have a cruise in July and I have handicapped parking. Does that mean I will be able to park in the garage next to the entrance as before?

I know I saw some info on this before on line but cannot find it. I am in a Jr Suite on Oasis in July and wanted to know the best way to try to book Coastal Kitchen once on board. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I use a MAC and cannot get on using Safari, but can using Google.

With the sale today, I I purchased it for my July Oasis cruise ( which is almost sold out). Based on what the internet would have cost, it was a good deal, as I get the Chops lunch, can leave the bags for delivery ( I liked that when I did this last on the Anthem a few years ago), and get the guaranteed seating at shows ( I know some said that does not work, but it did on the Anthem and this cruise will be packed). I waited for a sale to do this.

I used the Key a few years ago and liked it. But I cannot recall as to the internet if there are 2 people in the room if each gets the use of one device, or it is one device per room. If anyone knows, let me know. Many thanks
