  1. I haven't even sailed on Celebrity yet (four more days) and I am already looking at a future cruise on the Equinox. Looking at Sky Suite, an entry level Retreat Suite. Goes Ft. Lauderdale to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao for 8 nights in mid September. Any feelings or comments? Alaska I am doing a C3 stateroom to Alaska on the Solstice.
  2. Just got my EDocs and luggage tags via email just now. Trying not to hyperventilate. Breath breath breath!
  3. As long as you do so before final payment if using Flights by Celebrity. We are First Class and we tried to change our return so that we were not stuck in Seattle for 12 hours after docking, after final payment date. Flights by Celebrity quoted me penalties and change fees comparable to round trip coach for us. We told them to leave it like it was.
  4. My Edocs and Luggage Tags for Friday 2 Sept FINALLY arrived via email just now. YEAH!!!!!
  5. Yes, Pier 91. I am Marriott loyal and this one came up as the closest Marriott. I think price also had something to do with it. We also have an RSVP at Anthony's Pier 66 which is right across the street.
  6. It appears according to Cruisemapper.com they are going into Victoria BC (Vancouver Island, BC Canada) Here is the link I got the information from. Victoria BC (Vancouver Island, BC Canada) cruise port schedule | CruiseMapper
  7. I rang up to the hotel and they told me it is their shuttle. I am using Execucar from the airport to the hotel.
  8. Only a few at at time more like, "look at this lounge" and not post the entire vacation at once.
  9. Still not able to access my luggage tags for my cruise 5 days from now. With that, I am going to use the ones from the porters. With that, I had previously purchased plastic luggage tag holders for the ones I was supposed to have been able to print out. Do I need to bring these for the tags I get from the porter?
  10. YIPPIE!!!!! ONLY 5 MORE DAYS!!!! I know I had created a bevy of posts regarding my upcoming Alaska cruise, and I just wanted to thank everyone for answering them for me. I found numerous ship tours on Youtube and she is a beautiful ship!! I just can't sleep now getting so excited. Must also remember to breath. Actually our trip begins Wednesday. While we live up to road about 15 minutes from LAX, we are staying at the Sheraton LAX so we have airport shuttle Thursday morniing for our 6 AM Delta flight to Seattle. Then we are at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel and another quick shuttle on Friday to the cruise terminal. Still no Edocs or luggage tags. Thanks to you all I am more relaxed about that. Xpress Pass, passport, proof of Vax, testing proof is all I need. Luggage tags from the porter.
  11. I have a cruise starting in 5 days from this posting date. I was planning on uploading photos to FB during the cruise. Can I do this on this WiFi or do I need to purchase an internet package with a little more umph? I am going to Alaska from Seattle.
  12. Thank you for posting some of the daily schedules. This Friday 2 Sept is my first time on X. I love the fact they seem to be big band and 40's heavy. I love that.
  13. Thanks for the link. I read the first two just to give me an idea. The rest I am leaving as a surprise.
  14. What is Celebrity Cruises’ Smoking Policy? For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, our ships are designated as non-smoking; however, we recognize that some of our guests smoke. Therefore, to provide an onboard environment that also satisfies smokers, we have designated certain areas of the ship as "smoking areas." Generally, smoking is not permitted except in designated areas. (Contact Guest Relations for additional details). This policy includes smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted inside any guest stateroom; nor on any guest veranda. If a guest is in violation of this policy, a cleaning fee of $250 USD will be applied to their SeaPass® account and the guest may be subject to further action pursuant to the "Consequences Section" of this Guest Conduct Policy. Celebrity Cruises® kindly asks all guests to please observe the non-smoking areas and to refrain from smoking cigarettes, pipes or cigars in any of the non-designated areas. These requests are made to provide a comfortable shipboard environment for everyone. Where permitted, cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must always be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. A guest must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco.
  15. Direct from Celebrity Cruises website: Smoking and Restrictions on Purchase of Tobacco Products Onboard For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, our Celebrity ships are non-smoking. Hookahs and other types of water pipes are prohibited from use under this non-smoking designation. Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom or on any stateroom balcony. This applies to all stateroom categories onboard. Smoking is also not permitted in any dining venue, theater, bar, lounge, hallway, or elevator; on the jogging track; or in most other indoor areas. Furthermore, smoking is not allowed in certain outdoor spaces, including restricted areas, food venues, and kids play areas and pools. If a guest is in violation of this “No Smoking” policy, a cleaning fee will be applied to their onboard account. Because we recognize that some guests do smoke, we have designated smoking areas on the ship. These smoking areas are identified by signage, and ashtrays are provided in these locations for smoking use. Guests may inquire about the location of the ship’s designated smoking areas at the Guest Relations Desk. In casinos on itineraries where smoking is allowed, there will be visible signage designating the areas for both smoking and non-smoking guests. Cigar and pipe tobacco is limited to designated outdoor areas and cigar bars (if the ship has one). Electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes are only permitted within the designated smoking areas. Cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess, or use tobacco onboard.
  16. Ooooo-kaaaaaaay. Not sure how that answers the question, however.
  17. Checking the weather for our cruise next week to Alaska on Solstice looks like it is going to be coolish mid 50's and wet the entire time. Does this mean the kiddos now move to the indoor pool or is there a retractable roof over the main pool?
  18. This is why we never ever fly in the day of our cruise. Nearly 15 years ago we were to fly from Las Vegas to San Francisco via Los Angeles connection on Reno Air -- that tells you how long ago THAT was. Los Angeles got socked in by fog as did San Francisco. Our flight was delayed but we got to the cruise terminal about 1 1/2 hours before closing the cruise. Two mega Princess ships side by side boarding at the same time. What a nightmare. Boy did we need a drink when we got on board.
  19. And the screaming from parents to their kids on the last night when they get the bill, "You had how many sodas?!?! You had how much ice cream sundaes?!?!?!" Or the spouses, "You spent how much in the shops?!?!?! You had how many drinks?!?!?!?! You gambled how much?!?!?!?!"
  20. Always amazes me how someone trying to follow the policy posts a simple question and it goes all off topic.
  21. Seeing another post regarding this and their experience of getting a two top always near the kitchen door, bus area, or drinks area, I would like to avoid this? Is there a way since we are in Concierge Class of somehow reserving like 6:30 PM with requests of not near these areas. I would like to enjoy our dinners without having views of butts at the bus station or drinks station or having to hear the clatter of the kitchen.
  22. I have my express pass or Xpass or whatever they call it.
  23. I just called and she said the edocs and tags should have been available 30 days prior. She is sending an email to some department to fix this and she said check back in 24 - 48 hours. If not call back. Tags I can get from the porters if they don't show up. Another reason I would NEVER book directly again is she tried to offer me an upgrade to a retreat suite. I mentioned that I believe this is not a revolutionized ship and there is no retreat area on the outside deck. She assured me that it was. I pulled up the deck plan and asked her what deck it was. She told me and I saw nothing. She put me on hold and then came back on and said she checked with her supervisor who said that I (the customer) was correct. Should they know what they are offering before they offer?
  24. I booked direct with X. NEVER AGAIN!
