  1. No plans - doubt it. I would probably have the voyage listed in my signature block if we did have a plan.
  2. With only a day to spare, perhaps PCL HQ realizes by now things can run behind schedule.
  3. I have read they got away from using Crown Bay docks and perhaps X is using them sometimes? PCL used to park the "jewel" ships there at times. It seemed to depend on number of ships in port on a particular day. I recall where Wednesdays in STT were crazy with the number of ships.
  4. I know you are asking CC Aaron about this, but have you seen the thorough report by @CanadianBurger on his "Live From" thread? He spoke at length with the Sanctuary Manager and provided a detailed report (link below). Be sure to read some of the following posts where further clarification provided. I believe your questions answered. PS- It has been posted multiple times that Suite guest do not get free Enclave. FYI on Sanctuary.
  5. Yup, it indicates a guest has to pay the full difference between discounted Plus and today's Premier price. At the time, if Premier was also half-price, then it would have been possible to make the switch cheaper.
  6. Use the Report feature. Click on the 3 dots to the right of the post number. Click on Report to report on any post to the m*derat*rs, such as off topic, wrong forum, abusive/complaint, or a deletion.
  7. I am still left feeling the above way. If going to experience it, I'd only be interested in a shared Cabana with friends (two couples).
  8. Thanks for clarification. It's back to the old original method of hauling on up to Sanctuary at 7am or earlier to camp out waiting for the place to open. It will be something interesting when Sun makes it to FL for the next Caribbean season and folks will be conditioned to head on up there to grab space. Perhaps information and the price will have tempered the demand by this Fall. ETA: We won't need to show up so early at PE Terminal 2 to be the first on board anymore.
  9. Very good report, but does leave a gap or two in information (no fault of you of course). Capacity of 177 may mean less than 177 loungers since they also have table & chair space in the area. I am not sure how they determine if there is excess capacity, and at what time of day they make a decision on that. Also, Suites get in free, but Signature guests have access to the "exclusive" section, right? So, that means additional demand beyond ~160 Suite guests. For me, the $100 is not going to be worth what I will end up with as a non-Suite, non-Signature guest (notwithstanding the lack of shade). IF (that's a big if there) I was going to spend money to enjoy the space, I'd find two friends and for $125/pp, we could have a Cabana with both shade and sun, plus other amenities and goodies. It could be a nice treat for a sea day to splurge on spoiling oneself. ETA: I imagine 8 Cabanas is counted as at least 32 towards the max 177 capacity. But could be double that if consider the max allowed.
  10. It appears so, taking the post information literally. Perhaps may need further clarification if someone does try and book multiple days at embarkation??? Certainly means you are unlikely to get a padded lounger as a non-Signature guest. I do wonder how they decide the daily demand from Suite guests and at what time of the morning they decide how many additional folks can be let in. To simply presume a sold out ship means all the Suite/Signature guests will be showing up in the Sanctuary seems at odds with realistic situation. What if they let in say 60 "steerage" in the morning and a whole pile of Signature guests show up after a morning in port and there is not enough room for them?
  11. See above posts and I proved the point that things can change over time. BTW, I always back my car into parking spots as it is much easier getting out. IDK why the ships don't do the same all the time. LOL.
  12. For me, I can see a row of the white plastic hard chairs on either side of the pool with padded loungers in the back, behind them. Around 2:31-2:33 and 2:39, can see other side and there are padded loungers. Appear to be doubles on the one side at least. The other video shows the hard plastic chairs nearest the pool on one side only. I'd say it's a rearrangement of furniture. No doubt some guests where asking for a re-arrangement and wanted to be near the pool in a soft lounger versus the stylistic hard ones. Yes. As I stated, I think it is a re-arrangement of the furniture. Yes, it would be nice to get it clear from someone who has spoken with the Sanctuary manager.
  13. Well, there is a DOH! moment for me. Thanks for the clarification. "I knew that". (Just asked if my post can be deleted).
  14. That is not new and it is a small number of loungers.
  15. There were always these few in a row beside the pool that had the pads. Nothing new here.
  16. Why rock the boat? They might come and take the second one away? I'd be afraid to ask for any swaps - LOL.
  17. You didn't happen to get his name or photograph, did you? 😉 Would like to be on lookout for this fellow.
  18. It would only matter for a Sanctuary racer.
  19. My observation has been that the large PCL ships do head in bow forward, but I wouldn't take that to the bank as my data set is not large enough to make it a SOP.
  20. Excellent work. I have not tried it, but I would like to try printing it on 1 8.5x11 sheet (landscape of course) and see it I can read it.
  21. In my experience, I have worked with the same agent for two different agencies with online presence and also got personal service. I worked with the same agent the next time by contacting them and not the general phone line or web access. Hope you can find one by asking on a cruise or some other source.
  22. There is no need for a TA to contact Princess concerning a Medallion order - the guest can call and deal with it themselves. IMO, it isn't even a responsibility for a TA - especially a discounting TA. There is a LOT of things we guests can work directly with Princess about when using a TA. We just cannot engage Princess over re-faring, cancel, re-book, cabin change - the money aspects. All the frills and extras like excursions, on board packages, getting Ocean Ready - that's all Princess. I'd book directly with cruise line myself as I want to fully control all of our travel components, but the savings with a good discount TA are quite compelling and I can give up some control over my booking for that.
  23. I wonder if they allocated too much space to this concept versus the regular dinner dining space on the other two levels.
