No Princess aren't charging from the outset for 360 according to their press release - it's invite only if you are in a suite, book a future suite or are involved in VIP Casino gaming and retail event sailings. I would have thought this would still be the case on your NYE cruise if they aren't rolling out until late Jan on Enchanted.

We have always managed to book our first night of suite speciality dining using Dine My Way on the app. It knows you are booked in a suite and won't display a charge. You can add also guests here using their booking number but never tried that for other suite passengers.

There are no Med cruises from Southampton. There's a repositioning cruise departing from Barcelona on Sep 14 arriving in Southampton on Sep 22 and a Transatlantic departing from Southampton on Sep 23 All the itineraries up to the Transatlantic are in the attached SunPrincess.pdf

Princess are meant to be launching the 360 immersive dining experience on Discovery Princess on your cruise - they have been having free trials in the last few weeks. So if that's of interest you may want to see if they can book you on it (could be a charge of $150pp). See this thread for more detail.

Thank you for reporting back and what a treat to experience it first! We are simple eaters too so probably won't be trying this especially at that price!

Yes, we had Club Class on Discovery Princess last month and it was in the Skagway Dining Room

To be honest, the first 3 voyages seem to be incredibly pricey so start saving now!

For our Pacific Coastal last month, they had an Arts and Crafts Project of the Day session on quite a few days, a cross-stitch session, napkin folding, towel folding and an egg drop challenge

I believe Alex still owns the cafe up the road from us but is definitely back with Princess as ED on Regal according to his social account.

My other half won't eat lamb at home so it's usually a real treat for me to order this off the menu. Pre-covid there used to be lamb shank which was awesome but now it's just a couple of slices. On Discovery Princess last month, the offering was too fatty for my liking and the radioactive looking mint jelly had little flavour. Not that enjoyable at all.

Yes, we were on the Vancouver-LA Discovery coastal a couple of weeks ago and she had to come into Vancouver around 3am and delay departure until midnight because of the low tides.

We got off the Discovery last weekend and, during our last Suite breakfast, I quizzed the staff in Sabatini's about 360. It is an immersive food experience which will be held in the circular room behind the dark double doors in the pic below. Apparently all the menus have now been confirmed and they are planning to hold trials later this month. There is still some tech that needs to be setup however!

And those were the only decks with those cabins so P&O categorised them as the lowest Suite class , promoted them, never let anyone on the ship during the pandemic to get photos and ta-da - the first passengers discovered no-one ever got to look down on the sea!

You will need to be careful which cabana you book I think. We booked a conservatory mini-suite on deck 9 on P&O Iona which is based on the same platform. This was their version of a cabana and we found it overlooked a wide promenade deck plus was completely overlooked from above. We booked without knowing the full surroundings, paying a premium and didn't even get to look down on the sea - wasn't too happy . Felt even more sorry for those who had these mini-suites on deck 8 where passers by could look directly into their balconies! Have a quick look at this attached clip if interested. iona-con-mini.mp4
