  1. Highlighters, pens, lanyards and balls were given on Rhapsody OTS in June. Nothing on Liberty OTS this month. How long are they going to use the excuse of the supply issues. How come other ships have at least some small prizes but Liberty doesn’t.
  2. I’ll be on the Celebration for the October 29th cruise. Let’s see what happens.
  3. My next NCL cruise is the new ship, Viva for the Christmas cruise and it has some of those islands: Barbados, St. Lucia, Tortola, Antigua, St. Maarten and St.Thomas out of San Juan. Before the Viva, the Epic was the NCL ship out of San Juan for the winter season. The last couple of years I did b2bs on the Epic and it had 2 different itineraries. If you did a b2b you would have different islands except for St. Lucia that was in both cruises. I remember that Curacao was there too. The Epic was old but big so it had many things to do.
  4. I was on the Rhapsody of the Seas in June and booked the Liberty OTS cruise that just finished on October 14. The manager on the Rhapsody told me that RCI was not doing this anymore. I went to Next Cruise on the Liberty OTS on the first day October 5th. They had signs offering the free bottle for booking on the first day. I was going to book a cruise that had Israel but as a solo traveler paying double it was not the right price for me at the moment and I decided to wait. You know what happened the following day😔.
  5. Yes. I think that’s the answer. I was able to buy my airfare for the Viva because I still had time for my December cruise.
  6. You can only choose one airline on the poll. I have been booked on American and United domestically and most of the times on United and it’s Star Alliance Partners until May for European cruises. I’m booked now on Air Canada and Delta for my North Europe September trip. It’s still to early to receive my air confirmation for my Christmas San Juan cruise but I hope is American, United or Jet Blue in that order of preference.
  7. I did it with the NCL Epic the last couple of Christmas. I’m booked on the Viva for this Christmas. This one is pricey because it is the Christmas cruise and because it is a new ship but I think it come down in the future when the novelty wears off. I wish Carnival had that itinerary at least during the winter season like NCL.
  8. That’s what the loyalty ambassador told me on my last RCI cruise in June. Platinum and lower tier do not get the pin now but if they still have them, they will give you one while they last. Now I am Emerald so I am going to pick up my new pin on my next RCI cruise in October. I collect other cruise lines and Hard Rock Cafe pins too😉.
  9. Thanks for the hack. What I’ll do is to show the 2 options to my room mate and then we’ll decide which one will work best for us.
  10. Thanks for the information! The Metropole’s website mentions Hyde Park but is it just the park and not the Hyde Park Corner Station. We're located in central London, less than a mile from Hyde Park and Paddington Station, with 15-minute access to Heathrow Airport LHR via the Heathrow Express. I read on the Hampton Waterloo hotel website that they are close to some of the places that I want to visit but as a Hilton Honors member I would get more perks on the Metropole lounge. Knowing that the Waterloo station has lifts and elevators, tips the balance towards the Waterloo hotel. What I need to know now is how to make a transfer from the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to the Jubilee line.
  11. Yes but I am going to use the train to go to places. I just need one of them to sleep. I just want to know if the stations have an elevator or escalator. The Hampton Inn Waterloo has the Waterloo Station and the Hilton Metropole has the Hyde Park and Paddington stations. Thanks.
  12. Anyone here has done it on the Vista? I’m doing it next month on the Vista. I liked the menu from the pictures of the Venezia and Magic except the mushrooms.
  13. Good advice ziggy. I’ll talk to my PCC first and write the email. The good thing is that I have the sail and sign card as evidence.
  14. I need to decide between these two hotels: Hampton Inn by Hilton London WaterlooHilton London Metropole. The difference in price between them is less than $10 for the dates that I am looking for. What I need to know is if the train station has an elevator and not just stairs so it would be easier for us to carry our suitcases.
  15. Thanks ziggy. I am going to look for all the information that I can find before I call NCL this week.
  16. Thanks for the responses. I cannot believe that after all these years, I didn’t notice that my first NCL cruise was not credited. This is a good possibility because I remember that I had 2 accounts and they merged them.
  17. I have been checking the points I have with NCL because I am close to Diamond I thought that after my Christmas cruise this year, I needed another cruise to reach this tier. I was checking my cruise history to see if the points of my last 2 cruises were credited correctly when I noticed that the first cruise on my history was the Dream and I knew that I had travel NCL before that. My NCL Sun cruise is not there. I have a Business card holder in which I put all my cruise cards and fortunately I have the Sun’s card there. Do I need anything else to prove that I was there? It has been 20 years. Does that matter? Is there a time limit to credit cruises? Has anyone had a similar experience? Any tips before I call NCL.
  18. I have sailed on different cruise lines and I like them all. Some of them more than other ones. I only have been on Celebrity cruises twice and I didn’t see the conduct described here. But I have to be honest and say that the friends that I travel with sometimes don’t want to cruise with Carnival because of the perception that they have of some people’s behavior. When I travel with Carnival, I travel by myself and I have a good time. That’s funny. On NCL is the opposite. The comedians are always making fun of the Haven. Those jokes get a positive response from the audience.
  19. Thanks for the information. I’m going on my birthday cruise next month and I want to pamper myself and book some spa treatments and see if I can book Chef’s Table for my birthday. OBC will help me to do this.
  20. But can I apply before I board ( whenI pre book)?
  21. Can you use onboard credit if you are pre booking?
  22. I did not know that you could book them with the Cruise Next people until I was on the BTS tour and the CN person told us. I went to book the shows as soon as the BTS tour ended. I don’t know if that happens only on the Escape. I would like to know if this happens in other ships.
  23. I am absolutely sure that was the case because I was traveling with my best friend on that Panama Canal cruise and we booked other shows for both of us but I was the only one booking the comedy since she doesn’t like it. @hallux is correct too. When I was on the Escape I was also able to book the comedy show with a cruise next representative. I also booked the Choir of Men and the Supper Club dinner show using the Cruise Next person. That was a new one to me. I wish that was the case for all the ships.
