  1. We always enjoyed the freshly prepared food at E&O. My wife sometimes gets swollen ankles from too much salt in food. However, we ate at E&O a few days in a row, and the swelling went down.
  2. Thank you for posting the reviews. Also, good for you, taking a lemon and making lemonade. Many of us, would’ve let that start ruin the trip. Enjoy the rest of your cruise
  3. My wife and I would always straighten up the room, put things in the trash etc before we left the room. I would always jokingly say that they’re having a contest for the neatest passenger suite, and I want to win. Bottom line, we pick up after ourselves at home, and the suite is our home away from home. We used to have a sign in the firehouse, “ Your mother doesn’t work here, clean up your mess”
  4. We were on the Moon TA last November and loved it. Thanks for sharing the menus and those mouth watering pictures. Can’t wait until December to be on the Dawn TA.
  5. Agree with you Dan. I was on the Silver Moon in November, and on the Ovation in December, and thought that SS was much better with food and service. I’m going on the Quest in early November, and the Silver Dawn on December 1. I’ll compare again. However, although I had a better experience on SS, I still enjoyed the SB cruise
  6. I’m not sure. However, you can request it before you sail.
  7. Enjoying the review of your trip, especially Masada and the Dead Sea. We were on a Seabourn excursion to Masada about 3 years ago. We were waiting to go up on the cable car, and there was a huge thunderstorm complete with hail. The guide said it was the first time in his 25 years he’d seen rain up there. Did get into the Dead Sea though, despite lightning in the area. I figured God wouldn’t strike me dead there. Anyway, I’ve got a good excuse to go back. Enjoy the rest of your cruise as much as I’m enjoying it.
  8. I’ve been enjoying every episode. I’m glad that they’re sharing the videos
  9. Every time I’m on Seabourn, I keep on saying that I really want to like the restaurant. However, I’m always left disappointed. Perhaps they could change their concept to something like the Compass Road on Regent .In the meantime, I’ll try it again in October on the Quest.
  10. I was quarantined on the Ovation in January, and posted some pretty scathing reports at the time. I wasn’t cut off at all. In fact when I was quarantined, they gave me the enhanced internet at no charge. Go figure
  11. No visa anymore for Brazil makes for a nice saving. I was on the Mariner in the fall of 2017 , Miami to Miami via the Amazon. Quite a different but amazing experience than being at sea. Because of the Zika virus that year, the fare was an exceptional value too.
  12. Off hand I don’t. Perhaps try google if you haven’t already. In the meantime, I’ll look through my papers . I hope he’s still in business, but after the pandemic who knows.
  13. I also have used George’s Taxi several times. Used him to and from airport, cruise port and personal tour. Very reliable and was reasonable .
  14. LOL ! I was on deck 11 twice, and liked it for that reason. Actually, being on deck 11 felt like being on a private ship. Very small area, early bird coffee, observation lounge empty almost all day was like having my own living room. Very private area overlooking the pool with couch and loungers . Servers would come up during the day if they saw you sitting out there ( they always did), and nice spot for people watching. Of course, everyone has their own preferences. This was mine, on the Ovation & Encore. However, where ever you wind up, you’ll have a great cruise !
