  1. Their site says it runs every 40 minutes until 11:30pm. I'm not sure which beach you are trying to get to, but the bus on this schedule will run all the way up to Arash. CLICK HERE
  2. We go off on our own at every port LOL The bus is safe and we have done it before with no issues. Of course it's much cheaper and you get to stay as long as you want. That's an added plus.
  3. I'm sorry, I can't answer that question since we've always went there while staying on the land and went to Arashi when we came by cruise ship. You might be able to message them and ask if there's a way? I usually don't book cruise ship excursions if I don't HAVE to but some things I will if it's really something I want to do. I'm not sure how much time they give you there (by cruise excursion) but the snuba is just amazing! That reef is what you picture in your head when you see online pictures of diving. I don't know of any other places in Aruba to do Snuba. There's places that do the SeaBobs. Then of course snorkeling between Boca and Arashi is the place to go if you just want to snorkel.
  4. Ok this is funny because I've been a cruiser for many many years and we always have them do our laundry and I never knew they put these tags on the laundry until last year. I seen one of them peeling up and thought "what the heck is this and when did the stores start putting tags like this on clothes?" I started finding more and more of them and ask my husband about it and he's the one that broke the news to me about it coming from the cruise ship. I had no idea. LOL I think I have officially removed all of them now. Mine peeled right off.
  5. You didn't say when you were going but if you haven't went yet, are you talking about kayaking to Pinel Island? That's what we did and had a great time. We booked with Caribbean Paddling and everything went smoothly. HERE is my review from our day with them if interested.
  6. That really sucks to hear this. We've toured with him twice and loved both tours (one we just went to the pitons for the beach/snorkeling day and it was AMAZING! The next time we did the land and sea excursion and had a blast at the mud bath. Yes, we also did a drive by at the banana plantation as well and then on to the pitons. Right on his website when booking and in information it states US CASH only in bold letters. Maybe you just missed that? However, running out of gas is just irresponsible on his part. That should never happen and they should know better. Hopefully he'll get his stuff together and worked out before he starts to lose people. HERE and HERE are my reviews for our times there.
  7. We did a rainforest tour but booked privately with Javin Tours. It went to an old ruins building, then to the rain forest for a hike (which was really beautiful), then off to a place along the rocky shoreline that you went to a small cove with water splashing and lava rocks. We ate lunch, then they dropped those that didn't want to snorkel off at a place called No Limit Beach Bar, which was located at Cockelshell Beach. I believe several tours were being dropped there. So, maybe it's that place?
  8. We've used West Bay Divers twice and Bananarama once. I would recommend either one of those places (and we were by cruise ship)
  9. Crew, what about the actual snorkeling area off the dock? Did something change there? It use to be amazing snorkeling from the dock with plenty of coral and fish. We had a great experience there snorkeling. Yes, the beach wasn't the greatest (but there was plenty of shade) and I wouldn't say that was much of a snorkeling area but off the dock was awesome back when we went. They even had a path you could follow. To OP, the place is very pretty there and there's a lot of things to do as well...see the replica ruins and learn the history, the animals, there's a pool for if you get tired of the beach. I would say it would be a great place to go for a day. I looked on TA and there's still reviews saying amazing snorkeling so I don't think you'll be disappointed in that. You can find my review on my blog, located HERE, and there's tons of pictures and shows you around the place. That might help get a feel for it.
  10. It's been years since we were there and not sure if this place is still operating the same as when we were there or not. But...we went to Sunset Grande Resort (booked using a place called Jamaica For A Day). It was a resort with a beach, food, pools, waterslide and snorkeling. It was very pretty and the beach faces the cruise ships right there in port. You could check into that if it's something you think you might be interested in. You can find my review on my blog with tons of pictures of the place when we went. Located HERE
  11. We have been to both in the past. Pillory Beach is located at the Bohio Dive Resort. You can rent chairs there and have food. We found the food to be very expensive and when we went, the food we ordered wasn't that good. The beach is very pretty and has soft sand. I have a blog with our experience there located HERE. It has tons of pictures so you can see the place. Governors beach was so beautiful and it ended up being one of our favorites. However, unless something has changed since we were there (and it might have and hopefully someone will chime in if so), there were no chair rental or food there. There was bathrooms and a place to wash off the sand on your body. It used to be a very popular place and the stores that were there still stand. There's plenty of shade and there were picnic tables. There was a neat old ship that has been sitting there for years after a storm I believe. It made for some neat pictures. But since there weren't any food places, it felt very remote and that was just awesome! It's very close to the cruise port as well. HERE are my pictures and blog for it.
  12. I've never heard of a clothing optional beach on Grand Turk and we drove all over the place before. When I google, I see one listed on google for Turks & Caicos, but it's not located in Grand Turk. Did it say which beach or the area?
  13. We did the buggies with Pro Excursions and had the time of our life. I'm not sure if you're going to the same places or not. We drove all over the place down roads and then trails with animals and there was a lot of mud and puddles and that's where the fun began. They told us to wear something we didn't mind getting muddy. Then we went to the Chavon River and had lunch and drinks and it was so yummy. They took us to a little town and then back to the trails. We stopped to taste real sugar cane. They had their own photographer that took pictures of us along the way plus we took our own cameras as well. By the time we returned to their location we were covered in mud and could rinse off. (Of course you can chose to take it easy when going through the mud puddles and won't get as muddy). However, the one thing I noticed was our clothes didn't really come clean from all the mud. I started with a white shirt that is now permanently brown. LOL So, if it's the same tour, I would suggest wearing anything you don't care if it gets muddy or stained. HERE's my review of our time there with tons of pictures if you are interested.
  14. As leg said, if you want to snorkel you'll probably have to catch a cab and go someplace. We really liked Sky Reef. It was a "different" type of snorkeling for us and it is LOADED with beautiful different colored sea fans. It was simply amazing. You can check out my review HERE with tons of pictures if you are interested.
  15. I can't remember an ATV but I can with the buggies. We used Wildtours and had the time of our life. It was so much fun and I highly recommend the tour. I have a full review on my blog if you are interested it's located HERE
  16. That's sad to hear. I hope it's not for long. We had an amazing time there! If you can get an excursion to Rendezvous Caye, it's about the same...remote island, beautiful, snorkeling.
  17. We've done the cave tubing twice now with .bz and had a wonderful time. I have a blog with our experience from start to finish if you are interested. Our first time HERE and second time HERE.
  18. I don't know if you've left yet (since it's August) but if you want to do snuba...DePalm is the place. IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The reef is awesome. Better than you'll get snorkeling from the beach at places like Boca Catalina to Arashi. You can find my blog and tons of pictures HERE on the day we did snuba there.
  19. You would have to catch a cab to get to the snorkeling area. Boca Catalina is a great place to snorkel (between Boca and Arashi). It's our go to place for snorkeling when on the island. (There's also Mangel Halto but it's a lot further in the opposite direction). I have tons of reviews on my blog with pictures if you're interested in seeing what it looks like there and our snorkeling. HERE is the page with beaches.
  20. Arashi is beautiful and we always head to Arashi several times when vacationing in Aruba and by cruise (we've taken the bus back as well during a cruise day). The snorkeling is good if you go to the left (while facing the beach). You can find some of the reviews I've done of the beaches HERE if interested in seeing pictures of it.
  21. We didn't do the sunset cruise but oh my gosh we had the most amazing time on the day cruise with Jolly Pirates. It ended up being my daughters favorite day during our almost 2 week vacation there last time. Now, she has me looking for Pirate ship excursions everywhere we go in the Caribbean. The staff was amazing and a lot of fun. (I have to say also the next day we were snorkeling in the area they take snorkelers and we got ourselves in a bit of trouble and needed help. They took their dungy off the ship and came and rescued us...that shows how great they are!). Every time we go to Aruba again, we will do this tour again! If you're interested in reading my review/blog with pictures of our trip with them you can find it HERE (you'll find the beginning of it down a little ways down that page).
  22. We've been to the Donkey Sanctuary, the Butterfly farm, Ostrich Farm and Philips Animal Garden (zoo). We absolutely love Philips and have been there 3 times. (My daughter loves the birds and most of all the howler monkey that talks to us each time). If anyone wants to read my reviews of all the place, you can go to my website/blog and see the places and our experience. There's tons of pictures included. HERE
  23. Hi Robin! Good to hear from you again. We are doing good and just having a great time with our land vacations. I love being able to stay and explore all over without time constraints but do miss cruising as well. I have always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise but have never been able to talk myself (or family) into it because...well...we just hate the cold to begin with. LOL Some day I'll give it a shot. Not sure if you read my website blog...we are still diving with some good (mostly) experiences and one bad. We are headed off to another adventure in 2 weeks and cannot wait. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Travels to you my friend!
  24. We did the one at Jeanies. I always love the SeaTrek experience no matter where it's at. As far as not getting admission to Chankanaab afterwards, it should come with it. Unless, like leg said it's because you are on a ship excursion. When we were there (land vacation) it definitely came with the admission to Chankanaab because I called to ask. The only reason we didn't do SeaTrek there is because we had planned on doing the snuba there instead. Also, if you look online for vendors to book the SeaTrek, it also states comes with admission to Chankanaab or you can book directly with Chankanaab as well.
  25. We have been doing land vacations only since COVID hit. Have you read those reviews? We have visited places we've been to on cruises (Cozumel, St Thomas, Aruba) and a few land based in US (Disney and Vegas <---our first time). ๐Ÿ˜„
