It's a pleasant sunny winter day,after a very cold windy day yesterday. It;s Queens Birthday weekend, today (Monday) is a holiday day. Rabbits, white rabbits the first words I spoke this morning being the first day of June. Winter has arrived.! DH and I have never smoked. @aliaschief I share your concerns about @kazu. @dfish best wishes for a successful surgical outcome tomorrow, and speedy healing. @AncientWanderer congratulations on the safe arrival of your new DGS. This morning went to the CBD to do some messages, the ancient water pipes are being replaced in the main streeet, one block at a time, when complete the street will then be "beautified". Hello everyone. It;s a lovely sunny autumn day temperature 19C. We visited Kona during a Trans Pacific crosing on board the beautiful Volendam. We were walking along admiring the scenery, when a huge wave came over the seawall and drenched me..........sat in the sun to dry off. Thanks for all the photos of Kona. @smitty34877 pleased that Tana was able to participate at your BBQ. You have good helpful neighbours. @cunnorl you would have had a big fright with your DD, pleased that she was not injured. This morning had a visit to the local supermarket, wish people would wear masks correctly....covering nose and mouth. Stay safe, take care everyone.

Thanks for the food and drink recipes, @dfish I have made the Pork Chops scalloped potatoes recipe that you listed a few weeks ago, it's becoming a regular, ........ good comfort food on these cooler evenings. @HAL Sailer you are very welcome on the "daily " thread, it's not a clique, many of us have met other regular posters, either on board a BHB and in our case we have also met when they visited our country, for instance, we have met Roy @rafinmd twice when he has visited our local port. Also met Rich, @richwmn, @aliaschiefand his DW, and @Copper10-8 , we were honoured to be invited to meet with him on board the Amsterdam during it's visit out here. Stay safe, take care everyone.

An interesting thread today. Thanks to Rich @richwmn for the Daily and to Roy @rafinmd for the Care and Celebration lists. We have been reading "The Fleet Locations" since Lisa began the threads. On one of our cruises the Hotel Manager each day listed the Fleet Locations on a little stand at the Front Desk and in the Neptune Lounge, which we appreciated.......would call into the lounge to check the list before going to breakfast!. @bennybear I completely understand your comments today,. been busy, but have been reading each day. A few weeks ago, @kazu kindly posted how to multiquote, certainly makes for easier reading when posters are able do so. It's a sunny Autumn Day, looking forward to seeing a BHB in our port during our summer. Stay safe, take care everyone.

Is there really a need for travel insurance coming to NZ where reciprocal arrangements apply. Cheaper to just pay for emergency flight home.
